- Today I install air suspension on my BMW F80 M3. This first video I show you how to remove front and rear struts and shocks and install the new ones. This DIY can work for F30, F82 M4 and F80.

The allen key trick to hold the pinch open will really help next time I'm doing suspension work. Love the content, man!

Hey Jason, have you looked into getting a Pinch Spreader? I think they are pretty inexpensive and it uses the pinch’s threads so you don’t have to mar the pinch with a prybar. It’s a very specialized tool that you wouldn’t use very often, but it would make the job easier in the future! Love the videos!
You should update your tail lights to the new bmw style led ones. Your car will look like a 2018 M3 plus the newer tail lights look much cooler and aggressive. You can buy the OEM kit for $300. Nice car man keep up the good work

Question , when removing the front struts why didn’t u just leave the top mount bolted in and take the mallet and hit the control arm down and let force and gravity separate the strut from the collar ?
Hello what type of end links are you running in the front ? Also for the rear what fitting are you running in the rear bags? Cause I got an elbow fitting on it right but it’s rubbing against the cup causing a leak everytime I hit a bump.
I wonder if you could get someone to make a stainless steel bracket to replace that aluminum one? Don't know if it would help with rigidity enough to offset the cost and weight it would add...

I miss my E66, I was about to bag mine ut had to trade it due to $4400 oil leaks fix, but look up avs they have kits for ur E66, I just got mine for my F02

I've recently bought an airsuspension kit for my BMW F31 Touring, though its from D2 the mounting probably is equal.
The rear bags doesn't have any plate or w/e to mount it up in the spring hole just a bolt in the bottom, the shop I bought it from says it should be mounted in the bottom with the bolt and then the bag will rest between the bottom mount and the upper part of the car, is it really safe to have it like that?

Could you be able to change the aperture on the camera that you are using to film? It will autofocus to the nearest thing in the frame and blur out everything else which kinda gets annoying. If you change it then even if it autofocuses on something close the background won't be blurred out. But anyways thanks for the amazing video and keep up the amazing content!

I have been thinking about airbag suspension for my e46 330ci Have found broadwaysuspension but they are with air piston lift system, not sure how different they are from airbags but also would like to know what you would recommend , and how does the lifting works can you install some switch in console or you get some remote?

How would this work if the car has adaptive suspension?
Would everything still work the same when it is bagged?
You can code out the adaptive suspension to get rid of any error codes or there are modules you can plug in to make the car think that the Adaptive suspension is still there.
