Hey I’ve been debating between getting coil overs or air suspension. I live in Minnesota so when we get snow it would suck to have a lowered car therefore I was thinking air suspension but a couple weeks ago for example with the wind it was like -40 no joke... so I’m not sure how well that would work with air suspension. I drive a f30 too if that helps btw (xdrive)
Cool man, that’s a very popular debate. In my honest opinion, if you maintain the airride, I prefer it to coilovers. Just be sure to drain the water in your tank fairly often in the winter. I’ve also heard of guys putting airline antifreeze in their tank to keep the lines from freezing. Also you can try to run the majority of your lines inside of the car to keep them warmer. I absolutely love having bags and that would be choice especially if you plan to slam it in the summer time🤙🏼

Great video! I recently bagged my Corolla. I've been super confused with the ride height it's set for me by default after the Calibration. I looked like an LA Rider front at a decent height and the rear nearly dumped. I may definitely take the time to run through all my height levels and adjust to make the car more even in their different presets for those reasons you have made for them (Obstruction height, Ride height, show mode, air out). Glad I found this video and definitely saving this for future reference ✌

Great video my problem is I don't know what height to put my ride in so I don't feel so much bounce to it any ideas would be appreciated I don't have a BMW though I have a 10th gen civic.
Always intrigued about Air Systems, Great Tech. Not for me, but i often wish i had a system because of how much i scrape lowered on springs
The adjustability is amazing, only thing I envy about static is you dont have to worry about popping a bag or airline. I remember my HR Sport spring days, lots of scrape!

Elevated Media So I got it installed and blew a bag the next day smh. My front tire was rubbing. Did you roll your fenders or make any changes? We have the same exact setup as far as wheels and tires, so whatever your setup is I’m going to do that also
Andre Colden no rubbing at all for me, maybe try playing with the camber plate so it pulls the strut farther away from the tire

I know this video is a year old, but how does the ride compare to the OEM suspension?
I’m about to bay my car my only concern with that I’m learning here with the multiple settings is the alignment while driving as you lower it because that will change let me know your thoughts
You will want to select your ride height before getting an alignment. Once it is aligned to that height, thats it. If you decide after that you are too low and need to be up 5-10 more PSI in the front, you'll need to go get an alignment again. Find a comfortable ride height and then go for the alignment, your tires will thank you.

Just got the airlift.. is PSI supposed to adjust/move around/ not be on exact PSI set while driving, lifting to drive mode, airing down? Or should it exactly on set point at all times??
You set exact points but when it inflates/deflates it’s usually ballpark. I would manually adjust a few psi as needed👍🏼
Quick question...just got Air Lift 3P on my scat pack charger...if I'm parked at work for 8 to 16 hours...is it ok to leave it all the way air'd out that long ? I'm a chick (still learning) thanks
Theoretically it should be fine zeroed out, however I usually leave 3-5 psi in each bag if I know it will sit overnight or for a longer period of time

Most definitely will not hurt anything, and that from experience from owning about 12 different bagged vehicles

I cant set very top button and last button pre sets only the 3 middle button is this normal

You can you have to go into the setup menu and change all up or all down to preset

In winter do the bags get frozen? Or do they have a heated pad in them?
SkinnyVibes no heated pad but as long as you don’t let moisture build up in the tank you’ll be good. Also heard of guys putting anti freeze for air lines in them. I just drain my tank of water regularly

Henry Yuan they’re from R1 Concept, slotted and drilled f30 rotors with ceramic pads 🤙🏼
@@ConnorLee Thanks man! cuz I have the same caliper like yours and its a little bit confusing since some non-m sport model has the bigger front caliper so Im afraid that I would buy the wrong one.
Henry Yuan you can also send them your vin and they will send you a shopping cart with all the parts you’ll need, super easy
