One thing to note is that those voodoo puppets will not work if you have a backpack mod and its in your backpack. It has to be inside the vanilla inventory.
already prepared scrolls and random lost tablets also appear in the dungeon loot pool. the witherboss (maybe some other bosses to?like the dragon) also can drop voodoo poppets or more charmingly soul receptacles . if for some reason a lost tablet cant find a valid structure it wont pinch you and u just get a tiny amount of grave dust after a bit of time(or at least that is how it behaved in po3). Familiar soul receptacles do sound nice for some modded pets (like a fire and ice pet dragon) Ghast tears for a wolf sounds just quite pricey, but then again i guess some pets are priceless.

This mod's been updated for 1.18 and there's some new(?) holiday stuff. You get Halloween lollipops that give random buffs like Strength or even Dolphin's Grace for 10 minutes, and Christmas Gifts, which I'm not sure how to use. The description just says "Find a way to open it"
Oh shoot. I came here looking for an answer to that. There's also a blue gift that you're supposed to give to a villager and I couldn't crack that either :(
@@MrDisintegrator You have to deliver the blue one to a random villager's bed and you get loot. I got a mule soul jar. I had to go some 23,000 blocks to the spot, tho.
Luck of the sea decreases the chance to get "junk" and increases the chance for "treasure"... However lure only deceases the time to get a nibble, so you'd want a max enchanted fishing rod without Luck of the Sea or any functionally similar enchantments...

Great mod like all the Corail mods, though my favorite content adding gravestone mid is still "Gravestone mod" and it's counterpart "Gravestone mod - Extended" (same creator), I played it recently but the last time I played was like 1.8 or something, and it seems like it got some extra content since then, although it is more of a dungeon brawler, in particular with the catacombs as well the graves of dead pets or villagers act as spawners for undead that'll attack you... And also has corpses which can be displayed in some gruesome ways... And also has pentagram spawners (which are craftable)... And overall it makes the undead more of a threat, though it can be a good thing for resources, of course due to the mod duo's nature it's best added in a pack with a very undead theme whereas Corail Tombstone, despite also adding a significant amount of content, is applicable to a wider range of modpacks and is a comparatively tame themed mod.
I might not be seen by anyone, but in any case; I am playing Sky Factory 4, and WITHOUT using the special fishing rod, just using a plain fishing rod, fished up a "Lost Tablet", so not required to have such a tablet :)

You can hold your key and it shows where you died. If it's a long distance away you can upgrade it to an ender key to teleport to your death point. You don't have to. It just makes it easier to get back

Really cool video man! I'm kinda lost in something though: I used the Ankh of Pray on a decorative grave, and suddenly I had an enchantment called "Bounce II" for around 12 minutes. Did you know something about it? The Minecraft version I'm using is 1.12.2
Anyone know how familiars work in more detail?. I keep finding soul receptacles in dungeon chests with random mobs in them, which i can then spawn at a tombstone as a pet. I currently have a zombie. Husk. And a handful of animals and monsters from different mods. Like, i have a small blue skelly that only spawns from a boss battle (i forget the name of the lil blue skelly) and a little tiny ghast from the companions mod. The mobs i get that can be tamed it lets me make them sit and all other pet related things, but monsters will follow until death or unless i tie them with lead to somewhere. So, the question is, can i make these soul receptacles with mobs other than pets? Like a blaze for instance. (I have impregnated diamond with a blaze, but using it to craft receptacle just turns it back to a normal one) I am currently playing on 1.20.1 java.
How do you craft the tablets using the Strange Tablet? My JEI says 'Combine in Inventory' and so does the description of the Strange Tablet, but nothing works. Playing ATM7 modpack.
Mod page description doesn't really do a good job explaining how to do stuff. Example getting the essence of death, no where on the page does it explain a way to obtain.

This is a late response, but due to one of the perks in the mod - Bone Collector - giving me a chance to get special drops from undead mobs, I have looted a couple familiar receptacles containing I&F mobs. I was able to resurrect an Amphithere from one such receptacle, which leads me to believe that yes, these receptacles may very well work on modded mobs. Although dragons might be an interesting case, since unlike other mobs which turn to dust on death, dragons usually collapse as a body, when slain.
@@HESHRocketWarhead update on Ice and fire, I killed my pet ice dragon, it did NOT leave a body to loot, went into the receptacle, BUT, every "pinch" is enough to kill me. but this may be a function of another mod, first aid, that assigns health to different parts of the body. where the damage is applied. as it's a single "pinch" damage, regen isn't given time to work, so use at your own risk. tests need to be done to see if the damage is proportional to the mob's health, rather then slower resurrection.
so ive been using this mod and skipped through most the video to try find a tutorial on the enchants added because i have no clue how magic siphon works
It simply works in combat. If the mob has a beneficial potion effect, you can siphon it from them via Magic Siphon. Say for example, a Witch drinks a potion of swiftness (As they usually do when they first spot you). Striking her with a weapon enchanted with Magic Siphon may transfer the Speed buff from her to you.
I'm using a lot of mods - mostly from the modpack 'All the Magic - Spellbound' - so I'm not even sure if it's caused by this mod, but... does Corail Tombstone generate a beacon-like red light when you die? And if so, is there a way to remove the darn thing? I have JourneyMaps installed; it cannot remove that beam. I checked the Options section, it didn't say anything about it either. I quit and reloaded, it's still there. If I die elsewhere, will it remove it? Or just add another permanent, unremovable beam to the sky that I don't want?
Does Corail Tombstone also preserve our levels on death? I'm trying to figure out whats preserving my level on death on my server but I'm not sure what mod is causing it.

I was playing Minecraft and lightnings starts to fall. When I turn around I see a ghostly shape behind me and I got fucking scared. I realize that the ghost's shape appears when a lightning strikes. Has anything to do with this mod?
Hey thank you for the review! Was having fun with this mod until I used the ankh to pray and it gave me the effect "Frozen" for 12 minutes. Can't move, can't relog, can't "kill" self. Extremely annoying.

FYI in `/tbgui cofnig` under the Misc tab you can set the fog effect to show during the day as well (Fog Period)

You can change the chance of receiving an enchanted key when dead. You can change it in mod configuration

It actually happens. There is a slight chance of you receiving a random effect when praying with the ankh

If allowed to, you level up the appropriate stat. This increases the likelihood of respawn with a teleport key.

@@mkuehn5450 It's likely that First Aid is causing you to be killed. Try deactivating that mod temporarily and doing it again.
