I like mods that don't take themselves too seriously, though this one has some mechanics that feel overpowered. But I love it none the less! Props to the author for their creativity
I didn't think it was a deep mod at first but then I've : - farmed rats for liquid meat and pelts - made rats fish and breed / shear sheep for me - traveled to ratlantis - killed a plague doctor and took his rats to farm wheat I never knew I would become a ratmancer. All I wanted was to do was mess around with Create and Mekanism. Direwolf 20 modpack.
Imagine walking into a large cavern with brightness on lowest or with some visual mod which makes it so it’s even darker in caves and looking down and you see a thousand tiny glowing dots looking up at you, 😂
If they can replace them I'm gonna use them for 1.16.5, sad that thaumcraft didn't get updated to the newer versions, of only the dev released source so people could continue to develop it

Extra hunger converts over to saturation points (invisible extra hunger points kind of), saturation points are what allow for quick regeneration of health you just lost, though like hunger it's reduced by jumping and running.
This mod's had quite the work done on it since this vid. May be worth revisiting now that there's quite a lot of automation you can do with the little guys. And there's a new dimension along with it.
Idk why ,but I got flashbacks to that one rat DOS era game. (the one where you have a maze of rats and you gotta stop them with traps, stop signs and junk)
With the chef rat i think you could probably automate the whole cooking task by doing transport items and then putting the 2nd chest far away enough for him to cook it, so that way he will cook food without u being there, and u can have another rat put food in the take chest so that way it is automatically kinda, and take a farming rat or lumberjack rat and the whole process could be automated
And with the crafting rat then instead of the farming rat putting stuff in the chest it will put it in the table to be crafted into the assorted vegetables for the cook to turn into legendary

My goodness, this review is so tame compared to the current state of the mod. It went from a little bit of automation to complete madness
Where can I find good info on the current state? Articles I'm looking for on the wiki are just stubs.

If you turn of rat despawning turn it back on IMMEDIATELY, it causes immense lag, like the equivalent of high ping.

I noticed some have a green tint to their fur, its not like the plague rat but the hue is similar. Is it infected or just a natural coloration?
