I like the idea of Moon being able to have more peace of mind given how open the RainWings tend to be (emotions and thoughts-wise, anyway), it's nice to see her enjoy her time with dragons that at least mostly trust her :'>

2. What if Hailstorm was never taken by the SkyWings?
3. What if Winter was taken by the SkyWings instead of Hailstorm?
4. What if Icicle succeeded in killing the DoD?
5. What if Queen Scarlet beat Tourmaline?
6. What if Qibli accepted Darkstalker’s offer?
You could combine 2 and 3

This is probably one of my favorite "what if" drawing. It is very well done and I love Kinkajou and Moon's expressions. (Hey, even though you might not see this comment I'm wondering what brush you used for the leaves. I always hate drawing leaves and I'm having trouble finding the perfect brush to use in Krita.)

It's just my opinion, but your skill in drawing the background goes very unnoticed.
At least for me I never noticed how beautiful your wallpapers are and I was tricked into noticing just now.

It made me consider things I had never thought of before and when you say it everything makes so much sense. :) Here's some what if ideas I had: what if Starflight was the half SandWing dragonet and Sunny was the pure NightWing, what if Morrowseer let Fierceteeth be the WIngs of Night in the dragonet prophecy, what if Hailstorm wasn't captured by SkyWIngs and it was someone else like Winter or Icicle instead, what if Clearsight never went to Pantala, what if Blue and Luna swapped roles like Blue was the one who was accidentally sent to Pyrrhia somehow, what if Fatespeaker or Whiteout could read minds and see the future like Moonwatcher, what if Kinkajou wasn't sent into a coma, what if Scarlet never discovered what Chameleon could do, what if Chameleon never found Darkstalker's scroll, what if Darkstalker never made his scroll, what if Peril never destroyed the scroll, what if I stop talking about the scroll, what if Kestrel let Peril and Sky die, what if Arctic never used his animus magic too much to escape the ice kingdom, what if Darkstalker checked his soul before Clearsight sent him to sleep, what if I run out of what if ideas? :)

I love the what if series and one thing I think you could do is “what if kinkajou never woke up
Rainwings in this time "trade offer you get an alliance we get peace."

Ooo I wonder how this would change the first arc? Book 3 would be very different and the happenings of book 4 probably wouldn’t even exist! And I doubt that glory would become queen? Would starflight still be able to see? Not only that but I think book 6 would also be very different with moon’s slight more confidence
I think it would be cool to see a what if where moon grew up with the night wings, like, once, when secretkeeper was hunting or something, some night wings patrol found moon and took her back, and morroseer, since she had powers, raised her not know it was actually his daughter. She then became a popular dragon in the night kingdom, because of her powers and was going to lead them into an ambush on the rain kingdom but, meets glory/kinqasho (I can't spell, moons best friend) and decides to bring them together.
Btw, I just came up with this and if you do this, you don't have to do this exactly it was just my idea
