I’d like to possibly see a series where the dragonets decided NOT to leave the cave, and then the whole rest of the dragonet prophecy series. Like, a semi-series of this. Or if Kestrel decided to take sky and abandon peril or vice versa.
yeah that would be cool, and a youtuber called Wings of Charcoal is doing an AU about how things would change if the skywing from the prophecy survived and replaced glory
I think if Kestrel *had* choosen to fake kill Peril and escape with Sky she could have kept one of not both of her dragonets. She'd keep Sky because she wouldn't be forced to drop him and Wren wouldn't be able to pick up Peril and hide with her when Kestrel would come back for her, although maybe Peril could have stayed with Wren anyway depending on if or not dragons can walk that young and if baby Peril would have followed her. (Idk I kinda *want* a Peril and Wren friendship AU, I think it'd be cute)
I wonder if this would cause the Mudwings to break the pact with Burn? Since Burn was the original one who made the deal with them, would they leave if Scarlet took power? Same with the Icewings, if they realised that Blaze and Blister would have to duel, they must know Blaze didn’t stand a chance and would retreat north to escape the wrath of Blister
Actually, Blister first had the MudWings (refer to the Winglets story: Assassin). I doubt that the MudWings would leave, since Blister had already gotten their trust and lost their trust they wouldn't join Blaze.
Here's an idea: What if starflight and/or sunny hatched under the three moons? (Since the moons give the nightwings their power and sunny is part nightwing so maybe it would effect her in some way along with starflight)
Yess!!! I recently read book 7 and thought " Hey, what would happen if Sunny or Starlight was born under the moonlight of the three moons or known as brightest night. Me and my friend both thought about this. So I'm glad someone other than me and my friend thought of this!!

What if Qibli never helped his mom? What if Darkstalker never caused the plague? What if Anemone never sided with Darkstalker? What if Glory and Clay *did* get into a relationship? (They we’re supposed to, but it was changed) What if the hivemind on Wasp worked? What if Clearsight never made the HiveWings? What if Peril *accidentally* killed Winter? (From that one time where they rock em sock em roboted each other) What if Peril did join the dragonets? What if the dragonets escaped without Scarlet finding them? What if I stopped?
What if Quickstrike and Deathbringer succeeded, and Quickstrike didn’t die from lightning? Or what if Winter had followed through with Scarlet’s plan to murder glory, then each of the dragonets?
That'd be really interesting! I feel like that would make a lot of things different, such as the whole Darkstalker thing not happening, queen wasp not taking over, and make the dragonet prophecy not happen either, unless it *would* be fate, and there still would be a prophecy.
Some ideas! : What if the alternative dragonets were the original ones? What if Scarlet escaped with Peril? What if the Glory did kill scarlet? What if Qibli excepted Darkstalkers offering? Here’s a idea : Blaze was pretending to be a dumb queen/princess the whole time & was secretly a animus dragon, plotting to take over the continent, and secretly killed Queen Oasis (and King char, her father). Idk if this would be hard to do but you could probably do it!
This is SO GOOD! I was really sad when you said Glory was dead, but then, SHE WAS ALIVE!! And I was happy again. That was a really good story, and I love the art, the pose is really cool! I also have an idea! What if Glory grew up in the rainforest and the skywing egg survived?

Woah, this was an exciting one! I don't know how you can finish a whole story like that, I'm finally JUST staring to write a fic I've had in my head for months (And I havent had any 'this is so dumb im deleting it' moments yet, which is surprising) Some ideas for this series I have are: What if Turtle didn't enchant Anenome; What if the gaurdians did take the dragonets into the ravine outside the cave; What if Clearsight and Fathom used Darkstalker's scroll to enchant the bracelet; What if Darkstalker wasn't an animus; What if both Sky and Peril lived and were taken in by Scarlet (And maybe include trans Sky if you like that theory); What if Sky and Peril met at Burn's Stronghold; and What if Scarlet used Darkstalker's scroll to change the DoD like she did with Hailstorm?
Good luck with your writing! I completely relate, up until recently I'd never finished a single story. I tended to have a random idea and just start writing it without planning at all which led to me not having a direction and giving up on the idea. Actually taking the time to flesh out my ideas helped me a lot and I've finished three about 60 page novellas. They're not very good since it's just a hobby but I'm proud of myself just for finishing some cohesive stories.
Here are some ideas: What if Winter stayed in Possibility instead of leaving for the Ice Kingdom? What if Winter was killed in the Diamond Trial? What if Whirlpool wasn't killed by the eels? What if Peril didn't have firescales?

Glory is one of my favorite characters. I was sad to hear that she died- but once I knew she was alive, I can’t even explain how happy I was. lol. this was interesting, I hope these continue!
What if the prophecy never existed? Clay: He is the BigWing of his brothers and sisters and is fighting for Moorhen, Scarlet and Burn. Tsunami: One of the last heirs, Tsunami was killed on the brightest night by Orca's statue. Glory: A normal RainWing, Glory is mostly mello but does get annoyed a lot. Starflight: Starflight became more tough because he grew up on the NightWing island. Sunny: She grew up in the scorpion den and is tough but still kind. Status: Clay: Alive Tsunami: Dead Glory: Alive Starflight: Alive Sunny: Alive

I had an idea for a what if series in the future but I decided against it because I wouldn’t be able to do it but I had a lot of ideas that I would like to give to you -What of Peril was thrown in the river instead of Sky -What if Webs chose to get a Icewing egg instead of a Rainwing -What if all the dragonets died (kinda like that one episode) -what if the dragonets never left the cave early -what if Carnelian survived -what if Darkstalker listened to Clearsight -what if Whitout was a animus - lastly what if the guardians were taught that nightwings get their power from the moons and Starflight hatched under them

And in Darkstalker, Arctic says the icewings bury their eggs in the snow, so how would he even get an egg without Hvitur (or an ability to stay warm no matter what) and knowledge of where the eggs are.
i think you should make one about what if glory hit clay instead of fjord as well to go with this one. This one is also VERY awesome and I like how you added that Glory was still alive in this video and i hope that Glory soon remembers everything~

I thought you did a great job on it and really can’t complain on anything like you have the most important stuff that needs to be in it in the story you just made it shorter and a easier ending. It was so fascinating how interesting the story was!

What if anemone went with tsunami and the dragonets, what if coral made anemone win the war? What if turtle was a known animus! What is what if what if!
at the part where you said "glory claims not to remember them" I was getting teary, I know it isn't true but I really love this series and if my friend lost there memories id would've been in full on tears! the point is that its a cool thing you came up whith and I whant to see if (from book 2) if the skywings didn't attack when they where in the seawing prison!
I’d love to see a vid where tsunami’s egg was never stolen, maybe something tricky happens, so the statue doesn’t- you know. So many possibilities! I love the series as well, putting little fun twists and turns where you’d least expect it. Keep up the outstanding work!
What if the guardians (Kestrel, Webs, and Dune) knew about how NightWing power worked? In my opinion, even if they did know, I still wouldn’t think they would let him keep the power. This would be because that Starflight could gain too much control over the prophecy and how it came about. The guardians would also think that Starflight was too big for his boots, and eventually get tired of him correcting the guardians

I just watched your two episodes on this series, and it's honestly so amazing! Your art is beyond legendary, and I really love the stories you come up with! It's such a creative idea, even if it was inspired by marvel. I really do hope you continue it, and I can't wait to see other installments! I know this is probably not how it works, but if you need any ideas I'd love to vouch some! (Then again I'm sure you have plenty of ideas of your own that are amazing-) this series inspires so many ideas for alternate timelines, like what if Sunny was an animus (since her dad is Stone- forgets his name), what if Fatespeaker had mindreading (thereby making her able to hear darkstalker. Oh gosh Darkstalker during the sandwing succession war-) What if Winter killed Crane instead of Icicle, what if all the dragonets became the tribe rulers- there's so much potential! *What if Thorn never rescued Qibli from his family?* Qibli wound've grown cold and given into the darkness as he grew up without hope. He'd take Vulture's mantle and run the Talons Of Power as one of the most formidable and dangerous dragons in Pyrrhia. He wouldn't go to Jade Academy, but once Darkstalker would be inevitably freed, he'd find out about Qibli and offer him his power as he does in canon for reasons of understanding and similarities. Qibli would be much more willing to agree and accepts the offer, but eventually finds some bizarre way to kill Darkstalker. What Qibli does from there with his high IQ level, dark ambitions, and infinite power is beyond my guess.
Hi, Cyprus! I love these videos! I have a few ideas for more videos. One was Clay and his sibs. Another was the alternate dragonets. Third was something for the third arc.
I have one au that similar to this! In this au whiteout actually does have powers but not animus or mindreading or anything, she can see ghosts, (maybe because dark gave it to her or some other reason) this ends up being genetic in female dragons of that line and sunny is in that line as we know. So sunny is visited by clearsights ghost a lot but nothing in the first 4 books change until the end of book 4 where we find out the prophecy is fake. In this au sunny gets left behind on the volcano and is thought dead but she just loss her memory. She ends up running into sky and wren, who rename her Sunbeam. (little more of a nightwing name) the 3 of them travel together and go to the scorpion den and sunbeam finds her mother who she stays with until blister kills her sisters and starts trying to take the outclaws prisoner. wren has rose/flower show them where the eye of onyx is and sunbeam takes its causing blister to try and take and in doing so gets a ticket to hell. idk why I wrote the whole thing here but i wanted to share it. isn't sunny amazing? Im sorry Ill stop.
Now I would like to see each of these variant of the characters get pulled into some sort of universe merging event and all meeting each other and making a multiversal dragons of destiny team
Idea: What if Glory was animus Idea for that storyline: Glory has grown up with the dragonet in the underground cave, hiding her power from them, waiting for the right time. Skip ahead to when it's Clay and Peril's fight and Glory kills Scarlet and Burn using her magic. Fleeing dragons are frozen in place, and Glory makes sure they know she is dangerous. Things then take place in the time of The Lost Heir, the dragonets are still mad at Glory for not telling them, but they have even more respect for her and see her as their protecter. You can take it from here or change it completely, hope you like this. I'd be really happy to see this be put into a video, I'm a big Glory fan
I was about to say that I don't think there's animus magic in the rainwing bloodline but then I thought about it and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there was actually magic and they just never noticed/told anyone because they thought it wasn't important.

At first I didn't think there would be much effect in the WoF universe from this change. But now I realise... Scarlet's revenge towards the Dragonets is what started the ball rolling for the events of the Jade Mountain Prophecy arc. Truly amazing imagination here. As your next idea maybe you could talk about (spoiler alert for Book 13) "what if Sundew had never met Willow?"
What if burn, blister and blaze never existed. What if kings can only rule the kingdoms and queens cannot and they can't compete for it (sorry if my English is bad I don't know how to say the second idea clearly lol)

A little prophecy brat can’t even remember what she’s trying to save. At least you’ll give me less trouble now. “ the red dragon scoffed down at Glory, her face twisted with contempt and anger. Glory crouched low, confused and terrified, in a cell with a roaring dragon who she knew wanted her dead. The red dragon growled and turned away, snapping instructions to two other dragons wearing armor at the doors of her cell. Confused and in a state of shock, head still splitting with pain, glory watched the red dragon leave, her tail rasping across the stone. Honestly I just wanted to write a little paragraph from glory’s POV, just for fun

Woah, this was an exciting one! I don't know how you can finish a whole story like that, I'm finally JUST staring to write a fic I've had in my head for months (And I havent had any 'this is so dumb im deleting it' moments yet, which is surprising)
Some ideas for this series I have are: What if Turtle didn't enchant Anenome; What if the gaurdians did take the dragonets into the ravine outside the cave; What if Clearsight and Fathom used Darkstalker's scroll to enchant the bracelet; What if Darkstalker wasn't an animus; What if both Sky and Peril lived and were taken in by Scarlet (And maybe include trans Sky if you like that theory); What if Sky and Peril met at Burn's Stronghold; and What if Scarlet used Darkstalker's scroll to change the DoD like she did with Hailstorm?
Good luck with your writing! I completely relate, up until recently I'd never finished a single story. I tended to have a random idea and just start writing it without planning at all which led to me not having a direction and giving up on the idea. Actually taking the time to flesh out my ideas helped me a lot and I've finished three about 60 page novellas. They're not very good since it's just a hobby but I'm proud of myself just for finishing some cohesive stories.
Here are some ideas:
What if Winter stayed in Possibility instead of leaving for the Ice Kingdom?
What if Winter was killed in the Diamond Trial?
What if Whirlpool wasn't killed by the eels?
What if Peril didn't have firescales?
What if Tsunami was the animus dragonet and Anemone was taken by Webs?

Bro, I started crying happy tears at the end! But the tears contained sadness, as Glory did not keep her line of memory of the first six years of her life...OVERALL, THIS. WAS. SO. AWESOME!
I Have An idea, What If Turtles Was The Known Seawing Animus, Instead Of Anenome. Another idea is, what if the leaf wings gave up their throne instead of the silk wings? Other than that, thank you Cyprus for inspiring me to draw :)

Glory is one of my favorite characters. I was sad to hear that she died- but once I knew she was alive, I can’t even explain how happy I was. lol. this was interesting, I hope these continue!
What if the prophecy never existed?
Clay: He is the BigWing of his brothers and sisters and is fighting for Moorhen, Scarlet and Burn.
Tsunami: One of the last heirs, Tsunami was killed on the brightest night by Orca's statue.
Glory: A normal RainWing, Glory is mostly mello but does get annoyed a lot.
Starflight: Starflight became more tough because he grew up on the NightWing island.
Sunny: She grew up in the scorpion den and is tough but still kind.
Status:
Clay: Alive
Tsunami: Dead
Glory: Alive
Starflight: Alive
Sunny: Alive
Starflight might have died too since dragonets died all the time on the NightWing island, but I doubt it because his father is important

These what if things are so interesting! It’s so cool to see how what I’d previously thought was a very small change-Burn being hit instead of Scarlet-create a domino effect that KILLED GLORY, SCARLET, AND BLISTER IN ONE FELL SWOOP LIKE DANG IT GIRL

This was soooooo interesting! For a little bit, I though that Glory was alive, but you made me think that maybe she was actually dead!
i like the fact that, looking at glory's position, it seems almost serene at first, but as you hear more of the story it seems more lifeless then anything.
I really think this adds a super awesome twist to a series we all love, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of these!

I had an idea for a what if series in the future but I decided against it because I wouldn’t be able to do it but I had a lot of ideas that I would like to give to you
-What of Peril was thrown in the river instead of Sky
-What if Webs chose to get a Icewing egg instead of a Rainwing
-What if all the dragonets died (kinda like that one episode)
-what if the dragonets never left the cave early
-what if Carnelian survived
-what if Darkstalker listened to Clearsight
-what if Whitout was a animus
- lastly what if the guardians were taught that nightwings get their power from the moons and Starflight hatched under them

And in Darkstalker, Arctic says the icewings bury their eggs in the snow, so how would he even get an egg without Hvitur (or an ability to stay warm no matter what) and knowledge of where the eggs are.
i think you should make one about what if glory hit clay instead of fjord as well to go with this one. This one is also VERY awesome and I like how you added that Glory was still alive in this video and i hope that Glory soon remembers everything~

This was great! I have some ideas for future vids! What if Moon hadn’t freed Darkstalker? What if Turtle had saved the two eggs by finding the general (I don’t remember their name :,) )? What if Tsunami had never killed Gill? What if Blue wasn’t a flamesilk?
I thought you did a great job on it and really can’t complain on anything like you have the most important stuff that needs to be in it in the story you just made it shorter and a easier ending. It was so fascinating how interesting the story was!

at the part where you said "glory claims not to remember them" I was getting teary, I know it isn't true but I really love this series and if my friend lost there memories id would've been in full on tears! the point is that its a cool thing you came up whith and I whant to see if (from book 2) if the skywings didn't attack when they where in the seawing prison!

What if the guardians (Kestrel,
Webs, and Dune) knew about how NightWing power worked? In my opinion, even if they did know, I still wouldn’t think they would let him keep the power. This would be because that Starflight could gain too much control over the prophecy and how it came about. The guardians would also think that Starflight was too big for his boots, and eventually get tired of him correcting the guardians

Also an idea i have for part three, what if the didn't get caught in the sky kingdom, tsunami dies from the eels, or sunny dies in burn claws, staying in the weirdling tower, stuffed. I just watched your two episodes on this series, and it's honestly so amazing! Your art is beyond legendary, and I really love the stories you come up with! It's such a creative idea, even if it was inspired by marvel. I really do hope you continue it, and I can't wait to see other installments! I know this is probably not how it works, but if you need any ideas I'd love to vouch some! (Then again I'm sure you have plenty of ideas of your own that are amazing-) this series inspires so many ideas for alternate timelines, like what if Sunny was an animus (since her dad is Stone- forgets his name), what if Fatespeaker had mindreading (thereby making her able to hear darkstalker. Oh gosh Darkstalker during the sandwing succession war-) What if Winter killed Crane instead of Icicle, what if all the dragonets became the tribe rulers- there's so much potential! You're definitely underrated, and I hope you get the attention you deserve! Keep up the great work!!!

You should do what if star flight was raised with the nightwings or what if tsunami was raised with queen coral they are both good concepts also let me just take a moment to just say how amazing this is I can read books about these plot twists. Qibli wound've grown cold and given into the darkness as he grew up without hope. He'd take Vulture's mantle and run the Talons Of Power as one of the most formidable and dangerous dragons in Pyrrhia. He wouldn't go to Jade Academy, but once Darkstalker would be inevitably freed, he'd find out about Qibli and offer him his power as he does in canon for reasons of understanding and similarities. Qibli would be much more willing to agree and accepts the offer, but eventually finds some bizarre way to kill Darkstalker. What Qibli does from there with his high IQ level, dark ambitions, and infinite power is beyond my guess.

Hi, Cyprus! I love these videos! I have a few ideas for more videos. One was Clay and his sibs. Another was the alternate dragonets. Third was something for the third arc.
I have one au that similar to this! In this au whiteout actually does have powers but not animus or mindreading or anything, she can see ghosts, (maybe because dark gave it to her or some other reason) this ends up being genetic in female dragons of that line and sunny is in that line as we know. So sunny is visited by clearsights ghost a lot but nothing in the first 4 books change until the end of book 4 where we find out the prophecy is fake. In this au sunny gets left behind on the volcano and is thought dead but she just loss her memory. She ends up running into sky and wren, who rename her Sunbeam. (little more of a nightwing name) the 3 of them travel together and go to the scorpion den and sunbeam finds her mother who she stays with until blister kills her sisters and starts trying to take the outclaws prisoner. wren has rose/flower show them where the eye of onyx is and sunbeam takes its causing blister to try and take and in doing so gets a ticket to hell. idk why I wrote the whole thing here but i wanted to share it. isn't sunny amazing? Im sorry Ill stop.

Idea: What if Glory was animus
Idea for that storyline: Glory has grown up with the dragonet in the underground cave, hiding her power from them, waiting for the right time. Skip ahead to when it's Clay and Peril's fight and Glory kills Scarlet and Burn using her magic. Fleeing dragons are frozen in place, and Glory makes sure they know she is dangerous. Things then take place in the time of The Lost Heir, the dragonets are still mad at Glory for not telling them, but they have even more respect for her and see her as their protecter.
You can take it from here or change it completely, hope you like this. I'd be really happy to see this be put into a video, I'm a big Glory fan
I was about to say that I don't think there's animus magic in the rainwing bloodline but then I thought about it and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there was actually magic and they just never noticed/told anyone because they thought it wasn't important.

At first I didn't think there would be much effect in the WoF universe from this change. But now I realise... Scarlet's revenge towards the Dragonets is what started the ball rolling for the events of the Jade Mountain Prophecy arc. Truly amazing imagination here.
As your next idea maybe you could talk about (spoiler alert for Book 13) "what if Sundew had never met Willow?"
I love this what if series! What if onix did ascend to the sandwing throne? How would it impact the world? Would there be another war?
What if burn, blister and blaze never existed.
What if kings can only rule the kingdoms and queens cannot and they can't compete for it (sorry if my English is bad I don't know how to say the second idea clearly lol)

Glory opened her eyes, her head pulsing with pain. A red dragon with giant wings and gilded jewelry stood over her, eyes glaring and sharp. “You’re awake, little prophecy brat. Care to tell me what you did to burn? “ Glory knew this dragon. Well, not really. But she knew she should be afraid. “Who are you? “ she choked out. She regretted it instantly, sliding her claws over her mouth. The red dragon snarled down at her, smoke billowing out of her nostrils, wreathing her head in an ominous cloud. “You forgot EVERYTHING?! “ the red dragon roared and dug her talons into the rough stone of the prison cell. “You’re worse than useless now. A little prophecy brat can’t even remember what she’s trying to save. At least you’ll give me less trouble now. “ the red dragon scoffed down at Glory, her face twisted with contempt and anger. Glory crouched low, confused and terrified, in a cell with a roaring dragon who she knew wanted her dead. The red dragon growled and turned away, snapping instructions to two other dragons wearing armor at the doors of her cell. Confused and in a state of shock, head still splitting with pain, glory watched the red dragon leave, her tail rasping across the stone.
Honestly I just wanted to write a little paragraph from glory’s POV, just for fun
