1. Superiority complex There is a difference between feeling superior and simply concluding that one is surrounded by idiots. Despite what an INTJ can do within the cognitive realm. They possess no greater innate intellect than any other personality type. Instead this has more to do with an INTJ's lack of interest in the social elements of life. This is neither right nor wrong. But it does mean that be not being worried about who did what to whom. There is more time available to concentrate on the more cerebral pursuits. 2. Perfectionism Perfectionism is more of a sign that an INTJ is bored than it being a weakness per se. Once an INTJ starts to work on ways to make system more efficient it's probably time to move on to bigger challenges. 3. Low EQ This is not as ubiquitous as it may seem to other personality types. Disinterest in pursuing the social is not the same as having a low EQ. 4. Critical Again this is more a matter of perception than fact. To be critical is to seek out fault in order to induce negative emotional consequence. This is simply not of interest to an INTJ. Rather INTJ are insensitive preferring to say what is needed to allow improvement. As opposed to wasting time trying to smooth over ruffled feathers. Upset lasts for moment. Efficiency yields gains into perpetuity. 5. No rules There is some validity to this point. However understand that this isn't about being a contrarian but rather an innate desire to understand the reasoning behind the constraints put on a system. Since most personalities have little to no interest in pursuing such knowledge. It can feel frustrating when pressed for answers to questions other personality types never thought to ask in the first place. 6. Overanalyze The perception that INTJ overanalyze everything is more a matter of perspective than of fact. In fact it is an unfair judgement and presumption that every person needs to have a balanced social side. INTJ are unique in that they are the only type which doesn't have at least one if not more aspects of their personality that is focused upon some element of social interaction. So that does that mean? For each of the four aspects. A person develops preferences toward one or the other end of a sliding scale. This corresponds to the amount of sensitivity a person has to specific neurotransmitters. For instance an introvert is more sensitive to acetylcholine as opposed to an extrovert who favors dopamine. 7. Romantically clueless More a matter of disinterest in the social sciences which leads to relative inexperience. But I can see your point. 8. Too forceful Again we go right back to the whole social versus cognition argument. When a thing needs to be said. Not saying it, in favor of sparing feelings leaves the need unfulfilled. And this leads to other problems. So not a weakness, but more of a preference in style 9. Inflexible This one is just wrong. But it can be perceived this way because most people are not accustomed to actually logically laying their reasoning. Most people just go with the flow and have little time for understanding the underlying reasons. This doesn't make the INTJ inflexible. Rather it tends to make them right while society is disinterested in learning why the INTJ thinks as he/she does. But it can also mean that society is right but ignorant of why they are right. 10. lack spontaneity In this, you have seriously mischaracterized the INTJ. You are attributing social anxiety where in fact there is simply little social interest. What an INTJ want to do, they simply do. Unshackled by the desire to drag along an entourage of sidekicks. Remember, the INTJ is simply not as biologically rewarded by social interactions as any other type. Therefore the perception that when an INTJ goes and does a thing alone. That such an activity must feel pale and shallow by comparison. But this is simply not true.

Also several parts of this video don't correctly align with the description on 16 Personality's website. For instance: INTJs lacking in empathy and being unable to read/sense the emotions of others. Like the website points out that INTJs have great empathy and can sense emotional issues before others.
Exactly. INTJs can empathize well with others. They can understand another person's emotions/perspectives fairly well and have no problem with giving other people space to feel and express their emotions.

Downvoted for exaggerating character flaws of INTJs. I know they ring true for the a lot of stereotypical INTJs, but at the same time, let's not pretend that plenty of exceptional INTJs don't exist. There are amazingly well developed, healthy, mature, and balanced INTJs who evolved pass those shortcomings or you could even say defied those shortcomings from the earliest stage of their lives mostly connected with them since birth. Numbers 3 (expressing emotion), 5 (following rules), 7 (romantically clueless), 9 (lack flexibility) are somewhat innacurate. I've met some INTJs that excel in those areas, even number seven given the demeaning stereotype that INTJs are forever single vigins. If they are, it's because they're voluntarily celibate, not incel. Lastly, for number 10, I knew at least one INTJ who was filled with spontaneity. Me! -ENTJ male who was formerly an INTJ

Sure you can try to create a fake persona or try to change something in your core but eventually your real self will still show up and keeping the fake persona will just bubbling up more stress until you cannot hold it anymore. Note that this is different from having social skills. A lot of INTJ have a good social skills but it comes from practice during socializing with other people and from gathering up knowledge. But no matter how much of a 'people person' you are if you are a real INTJ you will still need that alone time unless you are a mistype and is actually a different personality.
Elvis Presley's hit "Hard Headed woman" describes an INTJ woman quite well. Just ask INTJs Jada "Pinkett" Smith and Hillary "Rodman" Clinton. They love to wear the pants in the relationship and do what their Ni wants. Jada Pinkett Smith kicks Will Smith's Fe around like a child. Oh wait Will is an ENTP with Fe child.
@@PsychologyRefreshWill Smith, like Ellen Degeneres, Stephen Colbert, Jim Carrey, Chris Rock and bulk of comedians, is an ENTP. And why is that? Because to come up with jokes on the fly you need strong Ne and Ti. And Ti is an ENFPs worst function. You also need Ti to be on an axis with Fe to gauge the audience reactions to the constant string of Ti jokes. Also as noted by the Renin dichotomies in the Socionics Fi/Te users are primarily serious and Ti/Fe merry. To be a comedian you need the latter. Now INTJ Jada Pinkett Smith is a serious Fi user. Which is why her vulnerable Fi child function can't take a joke. Whereas Will Smith's Fe child people pleasing tendencies is why he gets bossed around by Jada. I can write alot more here about Will being an ENTP. But I think it would be best to refer you to CS Joseph's list of ENTPs on his Website. And his How to type Famous People video of Will Smith. PS Lots of famous ENTPs are mistyped as ENFPs so you are not alone. Ti parent is invisible. Fe child is not. Which is why ENTPs get mistyped as feelers. You can see this by contrasting ENTP comedians with ENFP motivaters/educators like Tony Robbins. Tony uses Fi parent to motivate people with Te on an axis to externalize motivating ideas. And Tony can make jokes, but he is primarily serious.

Bruh, I don't like working with a group. I hate when people criticize my work. In my mind, we can already pass my work and still get a passing score, what is the point of making it better? In the future, we will still graduate right? 😅😅😅
Thank you for bringing up your perspective!
This is very, very accurate actually.
Thank you! Are you an INTJ?
@@PsychologyRefresh It seems so.
@@roasted9095 What would you consider as your biggest weakness?
I hate working with other people and I have a habit of telling people what their problem is without concern for how it makes them feel - also an INTJ
@@PsychologyRefresh Being rude and arrogant. And these are terrible ones, unfortunatly.
I’m an INTJ. These are actually traits of an INTJ using its abilities to full potential. The opposite of your points would be our weaknesses, that being an INTJ not using its gifts. If you want to analyze how famous INTJs made their way to greatness, that is by showing all you just mentioned in full display. You are seeing the facade, but you don’t know why we do these things. Perhaps you will never understand, you’re not an INTJ, I assume.
Thank you for sharing! Fortunately, INTJs are very unique personalities and they have amazing strengths ---> ruclips.net/video/juXBlO_U-0M/видео.html
I am an INTJ and what is said in this video is almost entirely true, except for the third and seventh points (in fact I am known to be very caring and romantic). Because of this or personality can also be formed or changed by environmental and family factors and habits instilled in him since childhood. The point is that even though you INTJs have the weaknesses above, it doesn't mean that they can't be changed ✨
I definitely don’t agree with all of these-
Not spontaneous?
No clue romantically?
Too focused on details??
No- no- no
We appreciate every opinion!
You should deal with your weaknesses, know for sure you can't fix them. You can only minimize the damage.
We love when others keep a safe distance from us INTJ 🥰

I'll try to learn people's emotions, but I still can't give af about them. The workplace taught me there is no time for feelings.
These are weaknesses? I think not!
Could you elaborate Margaret?
May someone tell me , how is that possible, that there are a lots of INTJS in the comments?
8:25 "They never leave the house when absolutely necessary."
So, in those times it's absolutely essential that we leave the house (say in case of fire, or an imminent meeting), that's when we dig in and refuse to leave the house? Cannot relate lol.
Well i don't think that i have a superiority complex but i stood 3rd rank on my high school without any coaching or stuff i didn't even study everyday a few days before the exams (maybe a week)was all i gave it an i scored 93.25% marks compared to the topper 96% who studied everyday for like 8-10 hrs + so yeah if i think im better than them then what's wrong in it ....

Btw, I really don’t think Elon Musk is an INTJ. I, like many MBTI experts believe he’s an INTP, or maybe an ENTP. He uses he Ne far to often and is very innovative, creative and an ideas person. He is also an extreme iconoclast
Thank you for confirming my thoughts lmao. I didn’t know much about him but he didn’t strike me as INTJ. We’ll add Ben Shapiro to the fake INTJ pile while we’re at it, dear god that’s the worst one though 😳
@@hanspz5505 Ben Shapiro is an ISTJ. Lol

I have high eq as an intj but can ignore emotions bc emotions are just reactions of your neurotransmitters I am trying to figur8ng out how that would be so important…
I’d rather look at the comments rather than watching the vid. It takes less time to see what’s it all about.
Thanks guys for saving my time❤❤❤

I dont have a superiority mindset! I just think everyone is an idiot but me...
Nah if somone tries to go to me and tell i should go f myself and then proceeds to have no friends they just deserve abselutly nothing but get all my negative attention .
Im Still working on that btw
"A rule that the INTJ doesn't comprehend" - That doesn't happen. We just don't agree and have a much more efficient way of doing it. haha

What do you think your biggest strength is?
@@PsychologyRefresh competency in many areas
@@supersaiyan8437 Amazing!
When it comes to pattern recognition I've noticed that all INTJ videos use too much stock footage showing women 😂
They make up .6% of the population but every video seem to feature the entire population of female INTJ's.
I know it's random stock footage but I couldn't help noticing. To be honest I found it distracting but I'm gonna keep it to my self.
The last weakness is right about me and i try to change my introverted personality
Thanks for sharing! Are you succeeding?
@@PsychologyRefresh yes i am still trying to start step by step.its working.i started by sitting with my family for a while instead of beign alone. But i still preferred to be alone😅
@@후다-o9n That is a good start! It is not easy at the beginning, but more time spending socializing rather than being alone could be very beneficial for everyone with the INTJ personality type.
@@PsychologyRefresh Kinda false. INTJ dominant function requires alone time and it doesn't make sense to 'change' your personality.
@@wertfasd Thank you for the insight!
Why did y'all do Elon like that in the thumbnail😂😂😂
Is it possible to develop external sensing? I am the last one in the room to understand everybody hates me.
Why does everybody hate you?
Elvis Presley's hit "Hard Headed woman" describes an INTJ woman quite well.
Just ask INTJs Jada "Pinkett" Smith and Hillary "Rodman" Clinton.
They love to wear the pants in the relationship and do what their Ni wants.
Jada Pinkett Smith kicks Will Smith's Fe around like a child. Oh wait Will is an ENTP with Fe child.
Will Smith exhibits plenty of weaknesses of an ENFP personality type. We cover them here --> ruclips.net/video/MymfTHjvbco/видео.html
@@jaredvaughan1665 That's very interesting insight, thank you for sharing!
