@DewayneKimble My claim for Migraines was denied, should I file a Migraine claim secondary to my approved Tinnits claim (10%), or do a suplimaetal claim and reference Tinnitus as new relative evidence? I purchased your book (Chapter 5 - "Submitting Your Claim" starts on page 81), Thanks for your help.

When you claim it again, it has to be on a 0995 and you will have to follow the VA instructions on the 0995 and if you claim it secondary (that would be new), but where is the evidence that it is secondary. @@TutStore that’s half true. What urgent care will do (depending on which one you use) will tell you to go to your primary care for follow up. And they will put in the notes they said that, and how often they’ve told you. So when you get your records from urgent care the VA will see that note, and compare it to when you’ve followed up with your PCP. Then his/her notes will be the same diagnosis or different. If different then you wasted your time, if you didn’t follow up EVERY time, then that’s another mark not in your favor. As a 100% veteran and a former claims rep, I’ve seen how it plays out.
