Hey, Dewayne and fellow retired young Chief Rod! I retired in 2001 with 30 years.
I founded out about secondary conditions in 2012 from Chris Attig (veteran, VA attorney) from his website. Dewayne's VA channel is my favorite because he was trained by the VA. I appreciate both of you all for assisting us.

I’m glad I found this channel. I submitted a letter of intent to file a year ago and was quickly overwhelmed. With work and family needs I just couldn’t find the time to even get to the doctor. Dewayne, I put in a letter of intent 2 months shy of a year. I was in Desert Storm. (New Rule- any Vet exposed can apply) I got out on an OTH (New Rule..Vets with OTH can now apply) I have PTSD documented first by Civilian doctor and he said it was a connection) VA Mental Healthcare Dr currently gives therapy and diagnosed me with PTSD. I tried to commit suicide by pills after the war while in another American conflict in Panama. I was scene by a Psychiatrist for a week. Soon after Administrative Discharge. Question! I have to get it in before June 1 do I need to prove, I mean I should have gotten a medical. Well what I need to know is how much work to I have put in or present when I am already PACT Act qualified, PTSD qualified, OTH qualified. I don't know where to start please help.

I agree with Mr. Cunningham, you should really emphasize the vast array of individually focused knowledge one gets when they pay for your membership & how much of a difference it makes on their lives toward limitless information. The attention to detail description on how to properly submit and understand each specific type of claim & its process. Especially being that it's something that dramatically affects one's life, health and wellbeing. While, who better to learn from than a prior military vet working at all levels of vet rating structures as management, as a client and as an educator. I've watched over 30 of your videos (& I know that's not allot, in regard to all of the information you've published) but I'm new, and after this video and the prior 4, I watched today in quest for an answer to my disposition. I've decided it's definitely worth a subscription. Not just for my own disability inquiries, but also for future job prospects, like when I finish law school (current student) and want to assist other vets who are where I once was myself, I can utilize everything you've taught me when referencing disability manuals, policy & procedures.

@Mr. Cunningham, "That IS a real thing...lol", rejection from family members for no reason other than being born. It's always a sad story, but it happens to allot of people....& it's so unfair & they know dang well how wrong it is, but they got issues...not the rejected family member. Which in turn, makes "them" a sad story if you ask me.

The reason why you don’t get the records yourself because the VA won’t give them to you, but VA claims people can’t read. I went to a VO they required me to bring my DD 214 and then she had to call to ask me if I was in country, she couldn’t read a DD 214.

Hey Dwane, I had a bad VSO submit a bunch of “rough draft” personal statements in word format before I could make final edits and put into a sworn statement form 21-10210. Is it possible to recall those docs so I can replace them? If so, is it worthwhile? Most of these claims were deferred.

The system is broke for veterans it only built for the VA . As veteran you can only complain to veterans hot line .you have a problem with your local VA so you complain to liaison officer who works for the local VA who covers up the problem. The officer who works for the VA who covers up the problem.. the Veterans complaint line all your complaints about your local VA to the local VA to cover up the problem. Then you send your complaints to your local Congressman and Senator, who sends them directly to the local VA who covers up the problem.. anybody in the right mind knows that when you have a problem you have to bring it to a third-party who doesn’t work for the local VA but nobody in the VA cares about that because they already know that they want to cover up the problem.

Example you have a TBI injury that the local VA is well aware of because they don’t treat you for it of course they don’t treat you anyway, but they’ll send you paperwork to fill out and then when you fill it out, they claim a year later you filled it out wrong so we have to deny the benefits when you get onto there you say OK so assign me a social worker so they can help you with the paperwork so you can no longer deny the benefit and use their TBI discrimination against them like you’ve been doing for eight years?
