It's hard not to absolutely love this Phillies team. As a lifelong Cardinals fan, I knew once the bracket was set that we were in trouble. Philly just has ... it (whatever it is) this year. Scrap. Tenacity. The perfect blend of characters. Just a solid team with a tremendous fan base. I really hope PHI takes it all this year. They are epitomizing what October baseball is all about.

Typically, Philly pays their big stars, only to be somewhat or totally let down once the ink dries. Bryce is earning every penny, both on and off the field, and this city is so pumped to have him locked in for years to come!! What a STUD!!
Now that the series is over, I can also go back to loving how special of a 3rd baseman Machado is. Another player that the game is lucky to have!

The Phillies this year are a Cinderella story. All season long, they languished in 3rd place, far behind the Mets and Braves and no one outside of Philly thought they'd amount to much this year. Now, they're going to the World Series. Congratulations, Phillies!
