Makes me feel good, but man did I burn some quarters with this game. I laughed watching you jump about and avoid fireface. I loved doing that and racing to the level end with my heart in my mouth! Thought you might have bonused more with the totems, but hey, you finished easily what I could not. Thanks man.

I could probably get to like round 9 or 12 or something when I was a kid....had gotten all those power ups before and invincibility...but once one of those guys that picks up quarters put a ton of free credits in it and I kept continuing to board 22 or 24....it was great. I thought it went on forever....store was closing. If I'd a known there was an end I woulda kept playing. Thanks.

I wonder if the designers were inspired by the famous Greek Marathon run. The run is a little over 26 miles, and there are 26 stages in the game, plus the boss stage, and each stage looks like a one mile interval. Plus there's the vague Greek vibe the game gives off. I'm probably overthinking it.

you played well but you missed the 1 million bonus on the earlier boards. I just cant remember which board its on its been over 25 years. You have to get up on one of the branches and keep shooting up for like a good 50 times or more if i remember correctly. It seemed lije you had to shoot up forever when i used to play :-)
Hi cubex55, just watched it all. This was my favourite game in 1988. At 33:44 you shoot the rock and a RED ? appears. I used to shoot at the RED ? and it would change to different items. Have you tried this?
you did good but did you know there are about 5 secret bonuses that you can literally shoot out of the sky? You need to shoot up in certain areas, and if i remember well, there are 5 hidden bonuses and the last one its a cool ONE MILLION. Also, if you have the tiger head upgrade, you can insta kill the blue giants for 50 K points bonus
It doesn't matter if you bounced on a rising flame that would have killed you in the arcade, by the way. I don't care. Just being able to see the game in its entirety is fantastic!

I like the graphics on this version better than the nes version but I like the nes music more. I wish the ps2 version was more fun to play it was kind of disappointing all together.

Rather play the nes version. That one has RPG elements that I fell in love with. But transitioning from arcade to nes they did an awesome job

..Plus if u didnt have the tiger skill and wanted quick way out u rode a flying creature to the end :').
