Recently got discharged from the military and I want to get into contracting but don’t know where to start I know this video is 2 years old now but just stumbled across it
Get your security plus certification if you are thinking IT work And IT is great to transition into as well Go on clearance jobs com to look for more jobs available and indeed com These are great What fields are you thinking about ?
Quick question for you? Could you please tell more about hearing test at the CRC? And If we already done that at the Concentra do we going to do it again at the CRC?
if you are going for a contract position in iraq or kuwait it might as they have a more serious physical that is done. but they are just a fraction of contract jobs. eastern europe is opening up big time with new contract jobs and also asia. Just apply and you will do great. also. did you go to the va and get rated for the hearing yet?
Good question It was too fast You are training every day and doing online training at night I used energy drinks for breakfast to save time At night you , on your time , run to get a bite on base Also ft bliss is in nowhere Texas You do not want to leave base
I don't have a military anything. So, what kinda job will i be doing (if i apply), how much will I be paid, will i get a standard housing after training?
Dental is covered You just can’t get anything done in Afghanistan haha You have to fly away, Dubai most likely That hurts your pay and position Get that dental done before you go :-)
@@RetireandGo Just checked it out. I think the teaching positions are for US citizens only (can't even sign up cause it's asking for my SSN (Social Security Number) and we don't have that here in Africa).
Thanks going to Kuwait in a month this helped alot 👌
Oh very nice !
Invest the money ok? Don’t buy a Ford pickup haha
Don’t send it to anyone

@@RetireandGo yea my plane exactly!

I was a infantryman while I was in the Army I don’t know what contractor jobs are available for that
Great video. I really appreciate the info. What’s the bunking situation like? Are they putting multiple people in one room?
At CRC you can have 3 in a room but most rooms were 2
Bring 2 padlocks
That’s a rule all through contracting
@@RetireandGo thank you much appreciated

Almost every test was done a second time at CRC
But I did not observe anyone having issues
Don’t let that concern you
Apply, go, make money overseas
If I had an H2 hearing profile in the army will that affect me when I get to crc

@@St.scotto ah! Rgr that

I had to get a dental exam before I left
But CRC did not have a second exam that I can remember
