Great advice. Where I live, no one uses the front door. I have lived in other houses around here--same odd custom. As such, I have a large, useless space. It's so easy to put "stuff" in, but, as it is visible from other rooms, it really needs to look good. I love your advice, will make it work too.

What are your thoughts on the shoe cabinets for wet/dirty shoes? I worry that their isn't enough air circulation to properly dry them out and potentially having to clean mud/dirt out of them.
My apartment has no entryway. It only has enough room for one really small shoe rack. The wall has a key holder. I could put a console table in but it would go into the living room space. Want to stay renter friendly
I have a challenging (small) hallway, there is a small radiator and above it a small window. At the moment we put our shoes in there without any organization because of the radiator. any tips? thanks for the nice videos

I placed a big edge beautiful and functional PAX closet and a shoes cabinet plus a nice big mirror. Will add some painting.
