I love a well kept bush, love how your layout is developing. I have some of those old figures. Figures are really expensive. Keep up the good work Lee ❤

2:23 I’m using a lot of natural material in my layout as well. I’ve been warned ad nauseam to sterilize everything in the oven or microwave before using any of it.
I’ve heard tales of plants growing and bugs hatching out in people’s train dioramas. 🤷🏻♂️

I dropped 1/24th and 1/32nd. I'm keeping the 1/64th tracks and cars, they are really enjoyable, and easy to detail, fitting extra lights.
I’d love to have a 1:64 but sadly I just don’t have space for another layout
@@leesslotcars I used to go to the Wonderland Raceway, in Southend/Westcliff-on-Sea, back in the height of slot cars, taking part in 6, 12, and 24-hour races. Until they banned my invention. The only car to have ever won a 24-hour race using just one Crown gear.

@@leesslotcars Right up until we were banned from using the "Sealed, Oil-filled Gearbox". Ran 24-hours on one crown gear, where we used to change rear axles complete every hour. It didn't leak, was a heavier chassis than most of the 1/24th, but made up for it, by only having to change rear tyres every 90 minutes. 1/32nd is still my favourite, and I still have Lexan-bodied, models of Bruce McLarens M7A F1 car, and the M6A CanAm car. A superb MRRC chassis in the M7A, and it is a BBB, (big back boots)!!
