Sorry you felt out of your comfort zone. You did absolutely great. Like you I am more of an admirer of slot cars than a hobbyist, so it was nice to get a review without having to listen about the intricate details that will not make a shilling worth of difference to me. That being said, I do admire those guys who present that type of review because of their dedication to the hobby. The layout is looking wonderful, and I am enjoying your changes and progress. Good on ya mate! 👍😁 PS: Must still be hot in the shed, because you are wearing less and less clothes. Next video could be very revealing. LOL

Mate , I wish scalextric would do us a favour by making much better cars with better quality & all cars given a test before they are sent out aa they cost to much for what you get . Sorry Lee but couldn’t let that go without saying something BUT I am glad that your enjoying the hobby

Just saw a Ford Anglia on a Usa tv show called American Pickers. The owner was planning a rebuild for it. Fascinating car and yes the slot car also!🏁

You have done a cracking job for a review. Giving the majority of racers without a huge layout your honest opinion of an unusual car. Not everyone needs to know what compound the tyres are made from so I think you have done yourself proud. Well done.

Track scenery looks fantastic! It’s good to see a SCX slot car, I’ve become quite a fan of the Brand and my collection has grown. Not every slot car needs to be a NSR or RevoSlot for you to enjoy the hobby. Great show Lee, keep it going!

Awesome effort scratch building the stairway up to the Race Control Centre. Painting it with an airbrush and compressor would have saved you a good amount of time, but nice job anyway.

Nicely done Lee. I really like the painted background behind the Race Control Center. I just assumed an elevator was available for the RCC access. Your staircase is amazing. Ian and Doug have nothing on you. Even with all their tools and dedicated shop space, you out shined them with your stairs. The SCX BMW M3 Sport is very attractive. A beauty indeed, Now I am on the hunt for one of those cars. Thanks, I think. LOL I am anxious to see your stairs finished and installed. You are quite inspirational. Oh I do like that Golf GTI!!! The plain road going cars are always my favourite. I’m like you, I don’t tend to race and tune I enjoy watching them run around a scenic track. Scalextric are doing some great things.
