Get a look at the opening movie for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak to meet the characters, foes, and more from this upcoming action RPG. The trailer gives us a look at various characters, including Van Arkride, a spriggan or an underground professional who accepts work from any client and acts as a detective, negotiator or bounty hunter with no allegiance. Little does Van know that her request will prove to be more than he bargained for and lead to events that could threaten the very Republic itself.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC on July 5, 2024. A demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak will be available starting June 4, 2024 on Nintendo Switch and PS4 (available on PS5).
In The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak, in the aftermath of a brief war, Calvard is enjoying unprecedented economic prosperity. However, the public grows uncertain as the number of immigrants increases and questionable political reform runs rampant. Follow the spriggan Van Arkride on a unique request that will prove more than he bargained for. Will the nation fall into chaos?

Yeah, most side activities were postponed to Daybreak 2/Kuro 2 since they faced a lot of "developpement issues" during the time of COVID-19 (Kuro/Daybreak originally released in 2021 in Japan).
Thankfully, the 1.10 update fixed a lot of things since it was originally released in a haste (a lot of stuff was missing so yeah), the western version in other hand shouldn't have that kind of problem if we refer ourselves to the demo though.

When most of the recent game in the series' got more than 1,500,000 japanese character count? (With the longest being 2,541,725) That's about as long as visual novels that are considered longer than most, and the only gameplay those genre has is reading.
Though, if you're going around calling games "The COD of ......", then you probably don't even care anyway.
