I really enjoyed that, especially at 2:00 with the side view when they were falling out of the front and back. I'm so glad you came back, FlippyCat! Thank you.
Great concept of modifying a tower structure into wall and pyramid structures. The use of clear dominoes for the structures definitely makes them that much more spectacular looking!!!
You really revolutionized this tech! :D I am hitting myself for not seeing this making into walls and multiple towers. I should have known haha! Now you inspired me to exploit this even more in the future :) Thanks for the name shout-out btw!
When discussing the history, wdomino also pointed out the DD06 method has been used in IDT2007 ( ruclips.net/video/9dFh14ruJXE/видео.html ), and DDT 2014 ( ruclips.net/video/AVyDAbbnMAI/видео.html ).
looks great, it’s cool to see that new effects are still being discovered after all this time (i used to make domino stuff under the name ‘jimbobjun’ back in the day )
@@Hevesh5 hey ! your stuff's looking great, amazing to see how much of a following you've accumulated, makes me wonder what would have happened if i'd persisted haha ! despite no longer really doing anything domino related, i think once you've been there, there'll always be a space in your mind dedicated to it, so i'll always watch the videos
The ones I wanted to stay standing stayed standing...the other ones were more experiments to see if they would fall or not and they ended up falling. I think with enough extra on top there is less chance of the structure falling too. I have a bigger wall for a separate project that stayed standing too. The big chance with these seemed to be if the stairs would lock up because the dominoes would shift/bump onto the structure itself (this happened in the very tall wall) and on the last setup my triggers at the bottom pushed the first dominoes onto the structure (kind of hard to explain). The last two setups (color blocks) I tried something different each time with the bottom dominos that ended up not being very reliable. The last setup, I actually reused the wall from the previous setup and only had to reset the stair part.
The colored dominoes falling out the sides in 1:50 seems to have become an accidental domino challenge stunt, where you can see how big a structure you can build and only knock out THOSE dominoes while keeping the rest of the tower intact.... or maybe even knock those bright ones down from the sides, while a different planned fall of the rest of the structure comes afterward.
Yes. More about those 2 setups: That setup was to try to do a denser cover of a wall...previous setups only covered every other column (triggers on only one side of the wall). I decided to use the kinetic dominoes for this because they are half the weight, so I thought it might have a better chance at not causing the wall structure to collapse with the lighter impact those would have. Unfortunately, I decided to also change how the trigger line connected to the bottom dominoes...and the first change resulted in a few not triggering/sticking from the bottom. I then re-used the standing wall and only reset the kinetic dominoes (that was challenging at first then became really easy), and again tried something different with the trigger line...which failed even more because the trigger line connections ended up pushing the first domino's corners onto the structure itself causing them to lock even more times.
This is an incredible effect! Always amazed by the originality that the community can create with stacking.
The RUclips domino Master himself has returned and I couldn't be more happy about it.
woah this video was SICK! I really liked the clip with the speedwall going overtop
I was surprised the speedwall fell across the entire top, with only 2 levels.
@@flippycat love you, Vertical stairs!!!
Very cool! Especially liked this angle 1:59!

Amazing, you figured out a breakaway version and the two-stage version! The potential for color changing is also promising.
Such a delightful treat. Thank you for doing this. :-)
you are a nice youtuber dear
I remember when you used to include the cleanup as well. Please bring it back, I really enjoyed watching the sorting!
I really need to build that trick, Looks super easy to build. Awesome vidoe as well Flippy. Good luck in the new year! =3
The colored dominos in with the white and clear have a really appealing effect. Nice work! ;)
Flippycat uploaded. Did Cristmas come early?
I might upload a *short* video on Saturday...not sure yet!
Just a thought. You should upload it at cristmas and give it as a little "cristmas present" for everyone
@@joellehkamo2826 I'm worried if I don't upload it sooner, then I'll keep putting off getting started on a New Year video until it's too late.
That's pretty sweet
its good to see this in my suggestion list
What a series of builts..... Your patience is astounding and the results even better....Merry Christmas :)
RIP flippy cat may he be with us still
FlippyCat is so original. I really like this!
Wow, that was really innovative and quite mesmerizing to watch!
Cool Video! I like those clear dominos. As well as seeing the cool vertical stair domino trick.
This is how to end the year right. This effect is so cool :o
The speedwall was my favorite clip!
Great effect looks awesome especially with the clear dominos! Awesome video 👍🏻
That's a whole new level :) Well done for the originality and the awesomeness of your videos ! Happy new year and Merry Christmas!
That's really cool.
And here I am, proud of putting 30 dominos normally.
That looks so sick wth the Clear Dominos. Well done
Stunning as usual!
Your domino videos are always SOO COOL!
I just love 1:58.
Amazing effect, how the dominoes appear out of nowhere.
Me too
What a great effect!
This was used in Domino Day 2006 project "Higher Ground". But nice to see it integrated in walls.

jimbobjun! I loved watching your videos back in the day! glad to see that you're still watching domino videos.

I love 1:10 :)
Yes
It's a neat and clever idea, but it looks like a game of chance if the rest of the wall gives out or not.

Been watching you for years! Love your videos, man!
Your videos a filmed so beautifully!
Always fun. Merry Christmas :)
Cool. For doing 3d stuff you might try building with Kaplas
the back & forth effect are cool......should do a dup-step music edition.
thank you flippycat very cool
I love this so much! Amazing video!!
That’s brilliant #dominogoals

Cant wait for the new year vid!! 😁😁👍👍
Glad to see you back :'3
I wouldn't even think of that, let alone make it in a month.
Super cool.
Nice Job!
Nice.
Very impressive! Subbed.
They look like blocks of flats.
With lots of stair wells.
I think you can do screen link with this trick
that is awesome!! :o
You are the master.
Mesmerizing
Make a video only of how to make domino towers
wow. sooo very cool.
satisfying
AWESOME
Yeet
Thats still great :D
Wish I could go back and include DannyTheBuilder's modification in this collection - twitter.com/danny42399798/status/1232632920340226049

At 1:56, are those kinetic dominoes?
Yes. More about those 2 setups: That setup was to try to do a denser cover of a wall...previous setups only covered every other column (triggers on only one side of the wall). 2:29, how?
0:58 THE LAST TOWER DID NOT FALL.
