- Six Flags Magic Mountain, the undisputed “Thrill Capital of the World,” today unveiled plans for a crazy fun 2018 when CraZanity, the world’s tallest pendulum ride, makes its debut in late spring. At a record-breaking 17-stories in the air, this impressive giant disk will reach speeds up to 75-miles-per-hour, as it whips back and forth-
higher and higher to give riders a staggering view of the world below them.
The Los Angeles-based theme park also recently announced it is entering the destination travel market by launching a 365-day operating calendar on January 1, 2018. With Southern California
welcoming more than 47 million visitors annually and a noted theme park mecca, Six Flags will now have an operating schedule on par with all other theme parks in Southern California.

Looks like Six Flags Magic Mountain is starting to become a well-rounded park, aside from the roller coasters, with the addition of the Justice League this year, and NOW with THIS announcement of CraZanity coming next year......looking forward to it!!

adrsk8 I think a coaster is going to be in 2019 so MM can add something HUGE to compete with Star Wars Land at Disneyland with being only 2.5 - 3 hours away and I think they're just trying to save AS much money as they can so they can make it ENORMOUS

The west coast need to have a dive coaster, and not some bullshit like Hangtime at Knott's Berry Farm. I hope they will remove Viper for a dive coaster like Valravn (Cedar Point). Something big !
Magic Mountain is not getting a Dive Coaster. You guys got a Zacspin, Premier Rides launch coaster, and an RMC hybrid in the span of five years. You guys are way too spoiled, plus a Dive Machine goes way past Six Flags budget. You guys need more flats as the flats you guys already have are practically falling apart. If any park were to get a Dive Machine it would probably end up being Great Adventure as their latest two coasters have been a relocation and clone, and haven't received anything original since 2006.

If any park is going to get a big addition it'll probably end up being Great Adventure. They are currently one of the only parks that still don't have an RMC. I could definitely see a T Rex giga going over the lake.
