I was at the martin guitar factory last week!!! I was blown away after the 45 minute tour. I'm the proud papa of my om28. My om 28 is 9 months old and already beginning to sound better, 😢😊😢. Playing it makes me cry sometimes because of how beautiful it sounds!

I’d like to know if you would recommend the D18 or the OM28 for that style of playing?

I had the same dilemma 2 years ago and I ended up with the OM28. Both sound great. The dreadnought is better for flatpicking & strumming and the OM for everything else. What helped me choose : the OM is better at flatpicking than the dreadnought is at fingerstyle. So the OM is more versatile overall and more comfortable to play ! the martin OM does give out the most bass - om42 or OMJM both are exceptional guitars
