I just got mine and couldn't be happier. Will soon be ditching the factory tires for 25" Duro Frontier Radials from Rocky Mountain. Radials handle better, ride smoother and steer easier. Only problem is hard to wear shorts here in southern Arizona because of so much heat coming out the left side have to hold leg forward and outward far as possible and still too warm. Hope the temps go down a little after break in but doubt it will make much of a difference, imagine if it was an 800 or 1000? Roasted lower legs!
HeRacesTheSun Check out the Fly Racing gear featured in the shootout. They will protect your legs from heat. We're thrilled you like your new machine. Can-Am did a great job.
ATVonDemand Thanks. I now have 88 miles on it and it's running a little cooler now. I think the new tight motor runs hotter until some parts wear in. At 200 miles first oil change to synthetic that Can Am recommends, it should run even cooler then...
We just finished up shooting Friday. Expect it by the end of March. It was a very competitive contest. I know we said February, we just didn't want to have to truck lots of expensive camera gear around in nothing but mud. Instead we finished up filming in the snow.
That'll be a very interesting comparison. I bought a sportsman 570 in December. But still have zero miles on it. Won't use it until the snow melts away.
J Bouchard I agree. I was thinking about purchasing either of these but finally decided to get an 850 sp. Still interested in watching this comparison.
Well the month of March is pretty darn near over. When is this shoutout video getting released? FYI. I read an article that had a 3 way shoutout between the 570 and can am and Honda 500's. The polaris kicked ass
Yea this thing warms up quick cause I accidentally found that out the hard way by burning my leg and this thing sounds awesome in real life it kinda sounds the same in the video
Kyle Mitchell Sure, they will fit, but any time you increase the size of hyour tire it is like gearing your machine up. You will lost some acceleration and may, or may not, gain a little more top-speed. You can switch to a different clutch kit from an aftermarket clutch company that is calibrated for larger tires to help you pick the acceleration back up.
We are doing a shootout between the Outlander L 500 and Sportsman 570. We have several days of filming in with another one to go. No scoring or tallying has been done as of yet. We hope to have the shootout finished in February.
This is the best ATV review/shootout I've ever viewed. Having 2 different opinions is great. Camera work is awesome. Keep up the amazing work!!
Good review. Would like to see one specific to the 450L without dps. The actual 'value' model

Looks like a Sportsman 570 was there to, guessing a shootout was already shot.

Any idea when the shoutout will be posted?
Sometime in February. Please subscribe so you will know as soon as we publish it.
