Don’t rely on a VSO to file your claim for you… you can research it and file it yourself in a fraction of the time and for free; I started w a VSO and they didn’t do a darn thing for an entire year
I have a question My husband was given 0% for hypertension and he passed away this past January I get the dic but now I'm wondering if the pact act will raise the % rate if he passed because of in part to heart disease If so how do I do that? I know they changed and raised some pact act ratings but not sure if It would effect his claim
My late husband was 100% P&T. He paid into SGLI for 30 years to make me eligible to receive 55% of his retirement. He served 28 years. Which of these would apply to me?
The Veteran didn’t die from a service-connected illness or injury, but was eligible to receive VA compensation for a service-connected disability rated as totally disabling for a certain period of time
