Luc, wonderful content. Have you ever made a video on how to pronounce the letter R the French way?

Thank you so much for your videos! Your ideas of hard/soft and the 'i'(mperfect) for nous and vous have been unbelievably helpful! You are an absolute legend!
I just have a quick question - how would you explain the verb 'mettre'? From my understanding, it would technically fall into the hard/soft verb category. Since the first 'hard' letter is the first 't', wouldn't the imparfait then be 'metions' (which it is not)?
Apologies for this oddly specific question and thank you in advance!

Thank you for your comment. If you enjoy these systems then have a look at my grammar podcasts. It is a total soft hard. Working on this method isn’t about spelling. So the mettre sound is indeed softened and hardened to ‘may’ and ‘met’ albeit mets and Mettent spelling etc. so sound wise you then take mettons and wind up with ‘met’ ‘ay’. If you don’t get this WhatsApp me. 447899732838
