Too anyone who has said or thinks this Googan Ranch was a “money grab”
We decided to lease a big chunk of one to give our viewers somewhere to go out and hunt because as I know personally it is very difficult to find somewhere to hunt. The amount of ignorance I read at times just infuriates me. Don’t take life too seriously you only live once.

I dont get it because he actually had a decent feed call, but was terrible at everything else. Most times people can do everything else but a feed call lol

Bird hunting will always be my favorite. Especially waterfowl.
Me too. The payoff for big game is nice but I like fast paced lots of shooting and not hiking 10 miles a day. Plus bird dogs have a special place in my heart.

I'm an old camera guy for several different hunting and fishing shows that aired on the outdoor channel back in 07 and that camera is tiny compared to what I was carrying around the mountains! Remember you can't run the camera in Auto when duck hunting Steven that's what makes it difficult to film with
No offense but whoever is calling needs to stop the ducks will respond way better to no calling than a mallard call screaming.

I had one of the best opening weekends in like a decade last weekend. The first morning was non-stop shooting, and the next day was pretty good as well. For me duck hunting is the most fun because you can mess around with your friends and family while doing it. You don't have to be completely silent, and you can just relax. Then when the birds do come, it is super fast paced.
It's pretty jacked up how you (Robert) treat Steven. What's even more jacked up is that he lets you do it.
The Googan Ranch prices are completely insane. $750 for a doe? $2Gs for a small buck? That's nuts

Hey Rob, just checked out the Googan Ranch site and most of the small game pricing looks reasonably prices. One thing I did notice that seemed off was that a single day duck hunt is 100/gun and then a combo (morning duck/evening quail) is 850/person! That jumped quickly!
Duck hunting is such a blast! That feeding call was alright but blowing too hard in regards to the comeback call. Still a great morning!

Asphalt - Cowboy94 Everyone that has seen your comment is now 10 times more dumb. Duck hunting is nothing like pheasant hunting. Its complicated and it takes lots of scouting, calling, and more too even get them to come into your decoys. go out on a marsh or lake and see if its that easy bud

Hi Lunkers from over the pond . As i live in the UK i haven't had any chance to go hunting , so when you show hunting on your video's i watch them , no matter what so keep doing them as an American living over here it takes me back to when i lived back over the pond .

The whole money situation should depend on size of the buck. Less for smaller, More for a bigger buck. Y'all are giving people a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and have a great time, to experience the thrill and excitement of hunting. And I think it is one of the best ideas y'all have ever had. Giving more back to the community is why i'll always be a fan of you and all the other googans. Keep it up.

A good piece of advice. Don’t put ducks you want to mount in a stocking like that. It pulls back on the feathers and can pull them out. Especially on early season birds that still have a lot of pinfeathers on them. Always make sure you preserve your trophies the best you can. Put the head under the wing and put it in a small trash bag and freeze. 👌🏼

Rob man, you don’t know how much I want to come to Googan ranch to hunt but it’s quite expensive especially with gear and travel. Thanks for making these videos but man it Is Funny to watch how easy it is for you guys to hunt and have success but keep in mind the that not all people can do this kinda thing

I’ve done a bit of duck hunting out at a farm with one of my mates. Had a Adler a110 and a PCP air rifle. It’s good fun.

If your gonna mount a duck you should turn and tuck the birds head back to It doesn’t freeze straight. Taxidermist would rather them be bent back. Makes it easier to work with when they thaw out
