- In this video I go over the easiest way possible to use CCminer on Ubuntu to mine Verus, I tried speaking out each step and an easy to follow QR code.
And the Verus Miner app isnt bad, I actually still use it on some of my phones.

TY sir. Pulled out all my old phones.. LG G4, G5, G6 (1.88-2.5mh each) PH1 essential (4.8-5.2mh) x2 Pixel 4XL (5.2-5.8mh) also have a samsung S8+ and s9+ that I will be setting up. Yes I know the LG's hashrate is poor but its not zero. Using this vs the mining app is far more stable plus allows for the screen to be off without efficiency loss.

Hello Paperclip, I am also using userland I set it up right. i also aquired wakelock allowed it to work in background and disabled optimization to prevent automatic stopping. But after a n hour or two it stops by itself. I do have an oppo a16 x64 OS. Verusminer works perfect, but i would like to take advantage of the increased hashrate
Honestly, some of my phones I still have to keep the screen on :(

You can turn off many apps in advance settings few h more! Apps like maps camera and many others also uninstall preloaded apps. In settings apps and top right 3 dots to special access, turn on developer mode in android

serious all depends if you did it right and what pool you chose, because 3.5 MH will take you a bit to hit the Payment threshold
For example my brother has 10 orbic joys, and its about 60 MH, and Cloudikos payment threshold is .1 VRSC and he has to wait till we hit about 3-4 blocks before he receives a payment.

Yes and no, ur phone has a set number of cores and each app maxes them out

Poco c40, on my phone it gives this error mining won't start after all use! " illegal instrunction " ( I am installing the application, it stays at 0mh for some reason, it does not increase at all, it blocks my security on the phone, do you have any information? )
Sorry no, you could go into the Verus discord and they may have an answer for you
Illegal instruction means the miner is trying to use a (64-bit) instruction that your phone doesn't support. Most likely your Android is 32 bit.

At the end I showed the swipe down and "Acquire Wakelock" and that will allow it to mine with the screen off

I really want to know if it's profitable or just wasting time cause i've been mining it for almost 2 weeks and the signs are not good . what's your real idea about this coin
its ultra profitable.... like it costs 2 cents a day to run the phones and i get like 6 cents back on average a day

On the website you are mining pool is on. And just search up your address, but if you are asking those questions, I would suggest one of my newer videos of mining verus for beginners
I can't run It on a Moto e20, says no such file or directory and when i simply try tô download the APK it doesn't install..

@polugoo totally with it, it's like 2 cents of power to run your phone all day and idek the yield rn, but it use to be 6 cents when verus was at 70 cents per phone

if you look up your address on what pool you are on, there should be a payment threshold and it will appear once you hit that.

It's just Linux, you would have to download the OS
But you can download CCminer 3.8.3 off of github

You can swipe down and press exit... or back out of the Userland app, go back in.. at the bottom it will say Sessions.... press and hold on the Ubuntu session and then press "stop session"

No you don't, it is it's own stand alone miner

Well first you shouldn't be starting with "how to mine like a pro." Secondly every pool has a different payout threshold, my pool pays out every. 4hrs if I meet the required .01

The execution of the ccminer stops after few minutes. It says there "Connection to username@localhost 2022 exited: Connect failed: Connection refused. How to resolve this?
You probably probably put ur pool in wrong
The pool url is correct.The hashing is successful then after about 5 minutes I would encounter the message above then the ccminer stops.

@lolPaperclip It seems that the issue is encountered when my phone screen is off even if the wakelock is acquired. To workaround the issue, I have disabled the screen timeout of my phone. This is now okay. Thanks man. You're awesome!

it means your phone isnt compatible, probably a 32 bit rom

@@lolPaperclip yep I have actual Linux on tie computers so I get the command. Yeah I’m about to get ADB going on it now so I can do stuff to the android from my phone and will rerun it again. Did the same thing with Xmrig.

Hello does anyone have information on how to mine with a 32-bit phone? Also i wanted to add if you want to save power with the display always on. All you need to do is screenshot a black photo open the photo full screen. OLED displays show black by turning off the diodes so a all black screen is turned off. this does not apply to a phone with ISP or LCD as they have a backlight But you can remove the backlight from the LCD panel
There is a way you can mine off of 32 bit phones, I was given it, but I am not allowed to share it sorry... Also, I show in the video if you just swipe down and "Acquire Wakelock" you can mine with your phone screen off

Either your phone is 32 bit, or messed up the nano config.json
How to shutdown?
Sorry this is an older video now, but you can go back to main uaerland page... and at the bottom there will be sessions. Hold click Ubuntu and press "Stop Session".... or you you can press ctrl + c
why is not working?
It could be many reasons, most likely your cpu isn't 64bit. Or you did nano config.json part wrong

Well PC's are more power hungry, you can get a good hash rate with certain processors, but you are better off using a phone that is pulling 6w to get a decent enough hash rate.

no this miner is made specially for the Verus Algo, but you can download XMRig and change the algo and mine other coins

I will reset from the factory and try again, maybe I made a mistake somewhere.

That's because the miner isn't started and are trying to start from the miner screen already..
