Look up AM2R, its a fan remake of Metroid 2 (which sadly got DMCA'd but you can still find it online), you get to fight Serris on his homeworld, as its know he's from SR388
Aidan Skillings hmm no, I think they do have plans to expand the universe after Fusion, in fact I think it gives them more creative freedom since it would take place out of the SR spectrum for good.
Yakuza was the bane of my 1% run. Running all the way to his boss room was such a pain. Nightmare and Ridley were rough, but atleast they were easy to rechallenge.
Is there even a way you could even fight the boss without taking a single hit? I feel like Nintendo expected you to have Psychic Powers when facing Serris...

I actually enjoyed the speed of Serris. It gave me a challenge. And besides, I mainly used the charge beam, because Damage X2.
tbh serris was easy to avoid you just gota use your ears and focus on it.
His pattern is rather predicable once you figure it out.
