This is the first time I've seen someone do Sector 4 proper and not just the underwater part. I was looking for this sort of thing over a year ago and I'm glad it's finally been made.
I gotta say, it really means a lot to hear that. I've been super busy lately and haven't had time to really give a proper response. Your words mean so much and I really appreciate what you have to say. All of my work is a tremendous labor of love. I have many projects in the works right now and, I'm excited to show what I've got. Some are video game tracks, and some are totally original pieces that I've been working on for awhile. I've been putting some of my stuff on SoundCloud but, I really hate that platform. So, I'm bring all my stuff to RUclips over at my other channel LelandHasMusic. I hope to see everyone who enjoys my work over there. Thanks for listening and thanks for watching.
Ugh this game gave me chills I'm 20 and booted a emulator at 2am to see what was the buzz about this game just to be actually afraid that I was powerless to many things I played alot of megaman and gunstar heroes games so it was a nice experience until the SR that took over samus suit came along that I was not ready for it was on sight with that thing I never died but man it made me keep on my toes for 89 percent of the game no game has made me feel this way other than dead space but dead space is meant to do this but this is a GBA title highly impressive a must for metroid fans and non fans.
Yeah. I really tried to capture that feeling I had when I was kid a and playing this game. On my birthday, about 14 years ago, my mom gave me a new GBA SP and this game and, I immediately fell in love. Ever since, I've had a grand fascination with the lore, the story, the music, and of course, the games. Metroid is one of my most favorite, (if not my most favorite) game franchises of all time.
@@LelandHasGames Same here man. Fusion was my first game ever. Your remix captures the soul of Sector 4. And also so exited for Dread. I still can’t believe it is real
Approaching 10,000 views on this video! I can't believe it! I have some more Metroid Fusion stuff coming soon. Keep your ears listening, everyone! Thank you all for the support.

@@chronoslayercs I'm doing the best I can. Life is still difficult but, I'm doing much better than I was 10 months ago. Thanks for asking, my dude. I really appreciate it.
Amazing remix, Fusion is my favorite metroid game and hearing this remix reminded me of my first playthrough instantly and I'm glad to find a remix of the main theme of AQA, keep up the good work
Yeah. I had to do it all by ear. I tend to avoid midis. Just doesn't sound right half of the time. I also create all of my own sounds as well. Everything is from scratch.
It was kinda unintentional. I had just finished making a synthwave track and, I recycled some of the sounds I had made. Speaking of which, I should be releasing that project soon.
Hello LelandHasGames. I wanted to give my grade of your work: 9/10 (excellent). Your creativity, the synth drums, and the overall faithfulness to the original song are awesome. Right on.
Stumbled across your two metroid remixes while looking for better fusion songs and yours is the best out of them. I hope one day nintendo remakes this game so we can get the music in its full glory and not crusty gba soundfont lol. Nice job!!
Exactly! I've been working on a lot of remixes/ remakes for the game music. Hopefully, someday, Nintendo will see these and just make me an offer. Lol. Hell, I'd almost do it for free just because this game is one of my all time favorites. I'm really glad you enjoy these. I've heard a lot of renditions of Fusion songs but, none of them were that satisfying for me. So, I'm on a mission to just make really good remixes/remakes of all the music.
@@LelandHasGames yeah ive listened to quite a handful of renditions and yours by far are the best ones trying to capture the original style! I look forward to hear more from you!
@@Kirafrog Oh. Actually, what I had meant to say was, I am planning to start uploading all my music stuff to another channel called LelandHasMusic. So, keep an eye out for that.
Speaking of "Terminator Vibes", I have a very cool project coming out soon. I know I said awhile ago that I'd have all my songs plus more content coming out on a new channel awhile back. It's still happening. I've just been very busy. Stay tuned!
Because otherwise, no one would be able to like it, dislike it, or leave comments. Also, if your viewing it on mobile, you wouldn't be able to have background play with it
@@LelandHasGames Hmmm. Ok well now I understand what happened. The problem is I can't watch (or listen to) this video if I post it in Discord anymore, and Discord music bots can't play it.
wait... age restricted? lol Rated E for everyone. Then again the game is basically the inspiration for Dead Space and inspired from the movie Alien and stuff. I think at first they were going to make the entire game take place in a big space ship but then they changed it to a space station. Not 100% sure about it though.
Metroid is very much inspired by Alien and western sci-fi horror culture. Metroid wasn't a big hit in Japan when it released on the Famicom but, Americans ate it all up when it launches in the US. And yeah. The age restriction thing is something I've been meaning to fix. Apologies
Fusion is superior to Dread considering the time it came out, that old pixel art style piqued imaginations better, facilitating Fusion's foreboding and suppressive atmosphere, the soundtrack speaks for itself, able to inspire remixes and compositions more than a decade later. Dread came and went because it lacked the integrity working behind it that Fusion had
Yes. Absolutely, yes. You nailed it, my dude. I was ultimately disappointed with Metroid Dread. I wanted it to be how fusion was. I was expecting it to invigorate that feeling that Fusion gave me all those years ago. Unfortunately, Dread missed the mark... By a lot. It's not a bad game. It is a bad Metroid game.
Haha. Thanks. I love Metroid Fusion and the music regardless. I just hope that Nintendo makes a remake or something to go with Metroid Dread. It would be awesome.

Metroid Fusion = Dead Space before Dead Space.
