This is something I've been working on for some time now. I'm hoping that Nintendo sees this and hire's me to produce music for their Metroid Fusion remake. Well... if they ever make a Metroid Fusion remake.

So, something people may not know, I rewrite all this music from scratch and I usually use the super nintendo Super Metroid soundfonts as a foundation to get in the zone. I may have some renditions of those versions available to listen to if anyone is interested.

Though outta curiosity what file format do you use? Iirc some daws have their own format

Thanks, my dude. I was really trying to keep it original but, also freshing it up a bit. And of course, adding my own flare to it here and there. Easier said than done. Metroid Fusion is one of my most favorite games.
I also have more remixes/covers/remakes, in the works. Life has just sort of been hell recently. I've been dealing with health issues and, one of my best friends just died a few days ago. It's been rough

Wow, man... that lead synth really speaks to me. Excellent work. To me, this is a perfect depiction of Samus in the depths of the Sector 4 tanks, watching the fish and odd creatures swim past. A tranquil, if temporary, escape from the relentless pursuit of the SA-X.
I was really trying to capture the feeling I had when playing the game as a kid. The synths, sounds, and composition are all my own. I really appreciate that I'm able to really captivate people as much as this game has captivated me. I appreciate the positive comments. Thank you.
It would be tranquil if the sound effects in this game weren't obnoxious as shit completely destroying the vibe
Underwater Depths is one of my favorite Metroid songs, this is a really nice remix of it and was a pleasant surprise to see in my recommendations today.
basically a metroid prime remix. that's not bad in any way, it's 100% spot on for the franchise

It's crazy how well that synth works for the melody of this track. Really lends to the alien atmosphere of Metroid music
This has kind of an awesome feeling to it. Imagining this in a slow motion movie scene. this is the first moment in the story where Samus has all of the power. They Can't freeze her, they can't resist her attacks, they fear her, The SA-X. The serenity of it combined with this remix's synth and undertones gave me exactly that feeling.
I was kinda going for that. more or less, it's just how the music made me feel when I first played the game. I tried to capture that feeling. Easier said than done.

Of course, observation can be subjective, I realize that a lot of people may not notice the contra bass. I work very hard on my arrangements and my synth's. Maybe more so on my synth's. Suddenly there seems to have been an increase in metroid luv. Being my first game I got completely immersed in at 6 years old. Completely lost for a long time on planet zebes with no internet to ask where to go next. Finally beat it after who knows how long. The music hit my kids mind with pure emotion. This makes me so happy that people like yourself sir are keeping great childhood memories of mine alive and kickin. Thanks!

Thats incredible. The synth instead of the game boys weak muffle definitely takes this already amazing track to a point where I wish there was a movie of Metroid fusion just so I could hear this in it.

Yeah. I created those synth choir sounds. I was really trying to make it feel as ominous and dramatic as I had felt when I was a kid playing this game.

I remember this area sucking but damn this music. Magnificent. Keeps you sane when you're in there. And that synth is giving me even more Ben 10 vibes than the original song did. And I like it.

Thanks for the input! I reused some synths that I had already created for a previous project but, the majority of the synths are completely original synths made just for this project. The majority of the work that goes into these projects is just for the synths. I don't buy or use other people's stuff. The majority of my music is created from scratch so, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

I really appreciate that. I worked really hard on this project. I still play the game to this day. The music and the game were just so underrated. It was very different for a Metroid game but, the story was just brilliant. This will always be one of my go-to retro games years to come.
@@LelandHasGames I've always been a huge fan of Metroid, since I was a kid, and I've always liked areas like: The submerged part of sector 4 or the super metroid Maridia, and I really love how the music in these places is made. thanks for doing this remix, it's great.
