GT cars are supposed to be fast like the Ford Mustang GT, or the Maserati Grand Turismo. This just has a GT badge because it's got a bigger engine than the normal polo. Going at a 100 kph in 7th gear is nice and comfortable but if you wanna overtake someone, you gotta downshift. The power is just adequate, not incredible. This is not a proper GT car in any way at all.
@@sourmiIk vtec is naturally aspirated. So it takes lot more hard work to extract that performance. Gt has 175 nm torque compared citys 145. So mid-range is the game of gt. City is more agile but gt is more planted on highway. Add to that dsg.. gt is the better highway cruiser..
The most underrated Hatch... My fam has 4 polo, 2 Gt Tsi, 1 GT Tdi and 1 highline... My tsi is extremely modded with almost 250 hp++... One hell of a machine..

For those who are wondering about why the next gen polo which is launched internationally is not yet in India is because the new polo is longer than 4 metre (4053) and Indian version of any hatch is under 4 metres for some tax purposes and that’s why vw group are modifying platform in right way to find those criteria

It has strong turbo petrol GDI engine, Dual clutch 7 speed gearbox, ESC, Rain sensing wiper, powerful AC, Cruise control, Touchscreen, adequate boot space, good brakes, Best in class stability, Balanced ride quality, unbeatable best in class ingear acceleration, Great top speed, balanced steering feedback, controlled bodyroll, best in class buildquality etc. Many of these features and qualities are not there in competition means it is worth for money.
hey dude good demonstration, appreciated but I would like to give you feedback. that is using few words like awkward doesn't seem to be professional. and it us not traction Control its is called ESP (ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM) which will control the wheel rotation with the help of sensors in the under steering & over steering. yes traction control I'd not required but ESP should be there in the GT TSI that's where you the confidence to reach 200 kmph in that small beast. And there are few disadvantages pretended to be but its not actually coz of that big hump at back people are safer even in the head kn impact. and you have to search for the video in RUclips search for "why only Volkswagen can build a Volkswagen"

Yeah you can. 2 people can sit comfortably not a problem. But 3 would struggle. I have even done a trip with 6 people in this car, but the people in the back were having a nightmare. But 4 people can go comfortably.

Ankush Chourasia best for long trips, rear legroom is quiet struggling, but comfortable for 4 persons of average height 5.5”. Performance is unmatchable with rivals.
It probably won't come in India unless untill it's an import which will make it pricey because the car is slightly longer than 4 metres and the Indian Norms are hatchbacks for under 4 metres, so if the new polo is to be sold properly, it will probably way more pricier than it's competition due to it being more than 4 metres
