W rewrite My rewrite would be: Have Frieza use a Time chamber of sorts built for him to become as strong as he was. Have most of the Z Fighters be stronger than they were portrayed in the arc. Have Ultimate Gohan be somewhat weaker than the Buu arc version of him but not by a lot , this way he can still realize he has been slacking and start training again but not straight up making him look like a fraud. Have Frieza in his 100 % Final Form be on par with this Gohan so that Frieza without his Golden Form doesn't come off as weak. Exclude Blue form and keep it for a later arc , have God Goku after training a bit stronger than Golden Frieza. Have God Goku lose not because of a Laser , but because Frieza tried to blow up Krillin again and Goku doing basically what Gohan did for Vegeta during the Cell Arc , this lets Goku lose and for Vegeta to take his place without making Goku look kind of dumb. Similar to the actual story , have Vegeta take Goku's place while Krillin gives Goku a Senzu bean , but also have Vegeta give Frieza a Senzu cause he wants to beat Frieza fair and square. Have Vegeta in his God Form just beat Frieza , no tricks , Vegeta stops Frieza from blowing up the Planet and then beats him That's how I personally would rewrite the Arc/Movie
I really wish we got more Gohan vs Frieza, I wanted Gohan to do him dirty again like he did in Fusion Reborn! great vid tho brother I like that you didn’t completely rewrite the story but added in little things that would’ve made it a better experience. w take
1. Frieza should have gotten his power boost from a more believable way, either wishing for it like Granolah or finding a time chamber like he did for going Black 2. Super Saiyan God should have been a one-off transformation only available through ritual, and Goku should have maxed out at SSJ3 in Resurrection F. This would have kept the power scaling way more reasonable for the rest of Super. Also the SSB Vegeta reveal should have been replaced with him going SSJ3.
This would've been interesting. As for a continuation: In the Tournament of Destroyers, it is the same for the most part, but instead of Goku going SSB against Hit, he goes SS3. SS3 Goku is matching Hit in power, but Hit's time skip is giving him a massive advantage. In a last ditch effort, Goku uses his ace, something he'd been training to utilize in secret, the Kaioken technique. This gives Goku the edge he needs to break through Hit's time skip and nearly win. The rest goes the same with Monaka "knocking" Hit out of the tournament. In the Goku Black Arc, Goku and Vegeta try to defeat Goku Black, but their SS3 forms are nothing compared to a SSGSS, or Super Saiyan Rosé. As a result, they fuse into Vegito, and SS3 Vegito vs SSR Goku Black kicks off. Vegito, being the perfect warrior, is winning against Goku Black. Before Goku Black gets the chance to swap earrings and fuse with Zamasu, Vegito kills Goku Black. They shortly defuse, and Goku summons Zeno to deal with the threat of Zamasu.
To be fair it was never said Frieza needed the Black form to oneshot Goku and Vegeta. The only reason he trained for 10 years is a way of making sure he won’t be surpassed, also the reason he went Black was to show off his new power.
In case anyone is wondering Base Gohan> 1st Form Frieza SSJ GohanGolden Frieza SSJB Vegeta>=SSJB Goku And Yes Gotenks, Jaco and Android 18 would be included in my rewrite but I forgot to include them. Frieza would also remember Trunks' face after Gotenks defuses.
Hear me out. Rewriting Resurrection F; just don't bring Freeza back. Going from Beerus straight to Champa and then the rest of the multiverse would have been perfect. Super (or Z as it still was marketed as in 2015) messed up with 2 things: 1. relying on nostalgia and 2. scrapping Saiyan Beyond god. Toriyamas own idea to have Goku and Vegeta master all of their power in base (as he originally had for Gohan in the Boo arc) made all the sense in the world. Every form up until that point was a drain on ki. Have Goku absorb god ki into his base but still have SSJG as his only way to access it. Have Vegeta unlock god ki and have the same thing happen. Have them master god ki in base by the time they get to fused Zamasu (Saiyan beyond god). Have them use that and only that until the ToP where Goku unlocks UI (also, do away with the 26,000 variations of UI and just have 1 and have Vegeta unlock UE vs Moro rather than Granolah. Literally they would have only SBG as their mastered base and then UI and UE only. This makes the most sense to me. SSJ is iconic but do away with it if you're evolving the series. SSJ2 for Goku and Vegeta is not anywhere near as iconic and should have remained a Gohan only form and SSJ3 is probably the biggest jobber form in the series. It hasn't won a single fight. Boo? Nope, neither Goku nor Gotenks. Boo again for Goku? Nope. Beerus? (Filler but...) Copy Vegeta? Nope. Nope. 17? Nope. Toppo? Nope. (Anime only but...) Jiren? Nope. (Anime only but...) Kale and Caulifla? Nope. SSJ3 is useless after their stronger forms.

About friezas power jump. Keep in mind that friezas power is FAR below base goku. His transformation is what bridges the gap.

@ He oneshotted Gas because he knew that Gas was dying while trying to adapt to keep his title so he went Black to turn him to dust.
