I think I looked thru all your videos but I dont see a video on how you process your photos either with Lightroom or Photoshop...Do you process/edited your photos ? and if you do how?
I don't get how it's done, you have a kind of sandwich, with external tube, color in between andthen the protector. what kind of material is this protector made of? I looked for clear gel but I can not find anithing that look similar to that. Really appreciate if you can help me, Thanks!
Marco, you got it right. About the clear gel, I buy big rolls and cut them to t8 size (see the diy category here: lightpainting.store/collections/diy ). I'm pretty sure you can find something equivalent, but so far with everything that I tested, this is the best (brighter, clearer) plastic available.
@@luca4229 Yes, Parchment paper has been the "DIY" solution for years. It is a bit yellowish and not as bright as Rosco, but you can't get any cheaper :)
Hi guys, first off thanks for all of your videos, as someone just starting in light painting they have been incredibly insipring! I wondered if I could ask, I'm playing around with DIY tubes here in the UK, its almost next to impossible to get hold of the T8 tube guards here which I think are probably the ideal tube for a DIYer, and Im trying using clear piping. My question is, is there in your opinion a relationship between the brightness of the tube and the thickness of the tube walls? The tube im using is pretty thick and not as bright as I hoped it would be, do you think that might be the problem? Anyway thanks again for your content, Subscribe +1! :D
hey hiiii ::)) I'm not sure about the impact on the brightness, but I prefer very thin / lightweight tubes as they are easier to manipulate. It really makes a difference when you want to make precise / subtle shapes. Thanks :D :D :D
@@Ericpare Many thanks for the reply, I would certainly agree with the weight issue, the tube im using is definitely giving me a work out! :D Ill keep looking for the thinner tubes!
Thanks for showing this, Eric and Kim. BIG difference!
My recent video is my second light painting attempt. I was thinking about ways of making the tube brighter and then I found this. awesome video!
Awesome, thank you for sharing
So your brighter one... is more LUX urious! Sorry, I could not help it. Hope it brings a smile though.

@@Ericpare the diffuser paper seems like it's something very similar to kitchen paper, am I correct?
