I was abused by my ex-wife on multiple occasions. Even jumped on my back and bit a chunk out of my shoulder just because I had to go to work (I was a nightclub bartender in Waikiki). Even with photographs of many injuries caused by her and voicemail of her threatening me if I went to the police, the police did absolutely nothing and told me to "man up".

I’m here to state one thing: I couldn’t look my abuser in the eyes after everything because of my own SHAME at having allowed it. never did I invite his anger intentionally by calling him names, laughing at him while he was talking and HITTING him and then recording him. If AH was abused as a child, it's likely that physical aggression is her primary response to conflict. And if JD was abused as a child, he was used to putting up with it and likely to respond in kind.
But the trial is about whether AH defamed JD and damaged his career, and it's up to JD's legal team to prove it.

What disturbs me about Amber is her inability to show any authentic emotional distress. All that comes across is her coldness of soul and her arrogance. Any woman who had been viciously abused as she claims would at some point break down, her voice would crack, tears would flow. I have just been watching the case of two women who were badly beaten up by their husbands and very nearly killed, their faces and bodies were black and blue. They were plainly traumatised and showed great bravery in court, facing their tormentors. Their fear was palpable. This woman, Amber, is the ice queen in comparison. She is an insult to all those women who have been genuinely abused and tortured.
That's the malignancy of her narcissism. Incapable of the spectrum of human emotions. A shell

Yet, her attorneys aren't even doing much at, but rather belittling him even more, and acting superior as if they have somehow even made any headway towards proving Depp is a fraud. It's bizarre how they react to most of these situations as if they were even remotely successful at making a valid point towards the jury that Depp is carrying out a farce. When in fact, their whole defense team has been nothing short of showing what spineless elementary school level role-play truly looks like in a conventional lawful trial at best. If they think their exposure as attornys to a one Amber Heard is going to somehow boost their client base, they better have plenty of kleenex on hand when this wraps up. You can't simply sift through all women (or men for that matter) with a comb and expect them to act the same. Some repress their emotions, others do not. Some are still processing the abuse that just happened, while others are past it and then forced to relieve it.
I still think that Heard is an awful and abusive human being, but Depp is no different.
You have a pretty simple and shallow perception of how an abused person should behave! Just because AH responds and presents differently to other people doesn't mean she has not been abused and to the same level. You view JD as the pure innocent poor victim only because he presents as a kind and friendly person who appears to be loved by almost everyone. And perhaps he is exactly that.......or maybe when he is under the influence of both drugs and alcohol he turns into a vicious wife beater! Who knows? AH & JD know and the rest of us are just guessing!
I'm no licensed psychologist, but I least I've received education about the psychological profile of abused people and their abusers. Amber's profile is definitely matching with the abuser profile.
With this, I wanna say that women can abuse men, but the majority of the cases of abuse are men against women. One fake report cannot make all reports false or invalid. Keep that in mind and don't say "women suing men ruins their lives" because in Spain most women ended up d3ath after being killed by the men they previously reported.
Absolutely. Most women DON"T lie about the abuse. However, victims DO protect their abusers and say they weren't abused even after reporting it. It's so common that police didn't believe me when I told them I lied about being abused. It's hard though because then men who do abuse say "look, see she's crazy. She even admitted she lied about me hitting her (or whatever it was he did to her)." First time I reported my ex, I had a bruise on my forehead, but didn't remember him hitting me there (at the time- I do remember now) I did remember him punching me in the jaw causing me to bite inside of my lip. Cut was so small police couldn't see the blood when they arrived. They sent him to detox. I didn't call for help again. The time he was arrested was because neighbors witnessed it and called police. I now mentally thank every witness who reported it. All too often women are not believed. One woman here had a restraining order on her abuser- he ended up breaking that piece of papers rules and killed her. This was In Vermont, USA. They found him a year later in Jamaica. All victims need to be believed. Honestly, I'd be pissed if my ex lied and I ended up in jail, but at least I'd know I was safe from him until it was sorted out. The only hard part would be knowing my abuser was alone with my child.

I was just wondering back when she was testifying. Everyone in the courtroom is saying that the jury has turned their chairs away from her so that they don't see her when she testifies, but yet she consistently looks in their direction when she's answering questions

In the pictures prior to the train ride, you can see a shadow that is there frequently in other photos because that's just how bone structure works. The shadow isn't the black eye. The darkness around his eye, and the swelling is. Not to mention the scratches that clearly aren't in the pre-train photos. But let's ignore the scratches because they're inconvenient to the narrative.

I think the only reason Amber has some believers, is because those people probably can't wrap their head around the concept of someone lying and making such severe, vindictive, manipulative claims... But the truth is there are people like her out there, these people are dangerous. I have been through and in the darkest crevices of humankind. I have seen and Been the victim of coercion and mental manipulation. It scares me that if someone is this bold and desperate to abuse and take advantage of survivors stories, truths and traumas, they are capable of anything. What scares me is the people who are supporting and enabling her delusions. Depp's team have showed that Heard is untrustworthy and an abuser herself, but that does not prove malicious intent. In spite of Heards flaws, it's still possible (and given what we know of Depps nature, even plausible) that he has also abused her. If Heard has been abused, then it's perfectly legitimate for her to write an article which contains no direct references to Depp at all. She's being sued for defamation, not for being an abusive hypocrite. If it was the latter then the case would be lost for her, but it's the former.

To someone who thinks that his team edit the train photo to look like he had a black eye, i say: is not possible. What more low resolution the pic has, more difficult to edit in term of add something new to the pic without appear that was added. But it totally possible to edit the photo to "clean" the noise of the image, resulting in a loss of details. I can see easily that the two pics has differences and the first one has not been edit, but the second one clearly was

Interesting but looking as closely as youtube allows, it seems inconclusive. The outline deginitely seems to be more than just a shadow and could be a black eye or it could be a mark from sunglasses. In the later photo the whole eye inside that shadow does look darker but is that because it's a newly blackened eye or because black eyes get darker in the first few days? I don't know but since it could be either, I wouldn't let it go against the preponderance of evidence.
Edit: The second version of the first photo is clearly lightened everywhere including everyone's face but while it removed the mark common to both photos, it leaves a mark inside it that is not in the first photo, which might lend some favour to Depp's version of events.
