That's a little bit "weird" did you type dxdiag with or without space, we are trying to understand why this command is not finding anything.

This ONLY installs DX11 - Updates (For DX12) will be available through Windows Update. There is no stand-alone package for these versions of DirectX.

unfortunately none that we know of - i would run the update on the win system and check if it's upto date of not revert to the older vers

It says i have direct x12 and when i download the directx app it says it wont download because i have the newest version of directx already. But when i try to run dx12 on fortnite it wont work, neither will dx11

try and low the setting if it helps or just run the update manager and make sure it's all upto date if you can ! msft being msft :(

How about this issue when I try to download DX on my PC (An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problems.)

When you get to the folders do you see any error? With an error then we can be able to point to the culprit.
