Super tips.. I lost mine today as wind conditions was perfect as per app but when at 120ft, sudden gust blew it away and RTH or manual control didn't work... just went haywire and as searched as per the last gps coordinates but couldn't find. The height recorded at the last gps coordinates was about 120ft.. so my guess.. may be it drifted away further with no log of coordinates! Is that possible.. ? Searched whole area and tree tops.. no sign of it!!
Great tips! I have a trip to offshore reefs coming up and am very concerned about hand launching/landing, and just ensuring it doesn't end up in the drink! Is this is new channel Christine? I am very surprised that your subscriber numbers are so low, yet you seem to have RUclips all sorted! Wish you great success.
Practicing from land was something i was doing a lot (especially in windy conditions) .. it helped a lot before i was in the actual situation! and yes…! this is my 2nd channel. thx 🙏🏽 😉
You missed 3 wind assessment methods: use the visual Beaufort scale; use an anemometer ($25-30 USD; most have thermometer and humidity indicator); carry a wind sock or ribbon.

What if you make your own drone how do you figure out the speed
