Well... to be fair, this is society's fault for segregating boys and girls so much.
I've met an absurd amount of both men and women who have had NO experience conversing with the other gender.
For that matter, I have barely any experience speaking with women myself, despite being a woman, because all of my interests were male dominated.

He is already a role model by sharing his knowledge, his voice, opinion and his face on YT and other media platforms. One of the reasons I as a woman follow him is because Dr. Honda is a unicorn to me when it comes to healthy masculinity. Women also crave healthy male role models as much as men do.
It also has to do with men themselves and what they choose to consume .

@@chagonzalez3712 thats mens choice, like I said... Like its the same when men complain that they cant show emotions because of "society" but society is you, me and them, and its mostly men who shame men for showing emotions since middle school , mostly women in their lives are the ones who beg and plead for emotional expression in men. A lot of men choose to live for each other instead of for themselves. Its their choice, women (and good men) can only lead by example, like dr Honda is doing.
And we women also should stop rewarding bad behavior, start raising the bar and stop coddling men. They are grown men, if they dont want to consume healthy content, dont want to go to therapy then its on them and them only and leave those men ALONE.

    • @vanessadisco6643
      @vanessadisco6643 2 года назад +11

@@ARS-fn6px absolutely! People, in general, should stop rewarding bad behavior; both in themselves and other people.
But we don't have to dismiss or ban others we've deemed as not emotionally mature enough.
Yes men, in general, are terrible friends to each other. They shame each other for showing emotion. Women do their part in shaming them by being perpetual victims of men's emotional immaturity; often obsolving themselves of personal accountability in the toxic relationship cycle.
And you are one of many women I hear saying "leave men alone to learn their lesson" I understand, better than you can imagine, the thought process behind saying that and I agree to a point.
Individual women need to stay away from men who are toxic. They need to also look at themselves to recognize and change the things that attracts them to toxic men.
However, men en masse, need content specifically for them, which addresses their real issues and helps them learn to navigate this world in a healthier way. All they have now is Andrew Tate and the manosphere.
Dismissing that very real fact won't help anything.
For what it's worth, showing compassion doesn't mean you should acquiesce to bad behavior.

Arguing with them, dismissing them and telling them to shut up is the same way they say men should treat women.. the situation calls for everyone to be better than that.
People like Andrew Tate only have as much power over you as you give them. Realizing they're incredibly insecure, hurt people should allow us to approach these people with compassion while we challenge them.
Men really do have a lot of issues which needs to be addressed. They deserve to be heard just like we deserve to be heard. If we show we can listen, hear them and be willing to look at how we contribute to the situation... we can stand on firm ground when calling on them to do the same.

The guy is most likely a criminal, but his crimes against women are very exaggerated, his woman beater case was false as the woman admitted to lying, but the raid led to him fighting a case about the legality of his webcam business as it wasn't registered, he won and then ran to Romania , the sex trafficking case is about an American girl his brother brought to party who's BF called the embassy , Andrew was not there until the raid happened but the house is in his name so the case fell as such. It should be noted that every female he did a podcast with has come out to defend him and claim to consider him a friend.

Do you really believe just by 'working hard' you will be able to fulfill all the necessary criteria? If not, how about start making your own definition of value and follow them. I just had a thought: who would I ask for help if stuff got really serious? Like if I faced a threat from bad people that don’t understand pretty words? And what kind of man should I be to be able to deal with such threats? Does it matter if I can fight, shoot and perform extreme driving because I was insecure my whole life if I still actually have those skills?
It’s very pleasant to call such men insecure until stuff gets serious.
I came to a conclusion that it is ok to feel weak and insecure if you really are because it’s just an adequate representation of the world around you. It’s better to see this and have the drive to become stronger than hide the head in the sand and stay weak while feeling secure until it’s too late.

I'm hurt by the claim that men only look for beautiful women. I'm neither ugly nor very beautiful - it's not about that. It's that I work so much to be successful. Not because I have to but because it's what makes me happy. But I feel like men don't care about that part of me at all. They are only after the most beautiful woman. I put it very black and white to make a point. I also have other values. I intrinsically care for a better world. I have really good ideas. So I am working on my ideal self not only on a social status level but on an intellectual level and I have the biggest heart. But it doesn't seem to matter. You just skipping that part feels like you agree with Andre Tate on that, Dr. Honda. That makes me even more worried.

I thought it was very interesting that Dr H didn't pick up on this at all. He constantly disregards the pressures that Andrew's beliefs put on women while pointing out the injustice of the pressures it puts on men. Andrew seems to say attractive women have it the best by far, then 'high value' men, then 'weak men' and leaves out any mention of other women, while trying to point to the injustice men face and how easy women have it. It's hilarious. But I felt a bit unvouched for in these videos.

@@qwr742 Starting at 5:20 in reaction video #2 he starts talking about how both genders are under pressure, and at 5:40 he starts talking about how you could say women are even under more pressure than men to have perfect bodies, teeth, faces, skin, everything.
And to Lara, I feel your pain, but you have to be careful not to fall into the same mindset that some men have. Saying all men only care about is beauty would be like me saying the only thing women care about is money. Sure, there are some men out there that only care about beauty, and some women that only care about money, but we can't think everyone from a particular gender feels a certain way. There are a lot of beautiful women out there that are very ugly on the inside, and for me, that ugly inside makes me want nothing to do with them.

I'd say he's being evasive because he knows he isn't actually a good partner and is only interested in appearing to be in order to get what HE wants. He can't deliver substance or a be genuine partner and he knows that... It's also projection, using a cop/criminal dynamic reveals how he sees dating, a fundamentally adversarial relationship with an imbalance of power. He can either be the cop or the criminal and there's no other possibility in his mind.
"Where love reigns there is no will to power." And when it doesn't, all your left with is these ego based power games. He's really showing is hand as incapable of actually engaging emotionally, which is the whole point of relationships. So his inferiority is motivating him to be really grandiose as a smokescreen.

I know I appreciate this personally, as I used to have a best friend who was super indoctrinated into these beliefs, and who taught me to (or at least tried to teach me to) abide by these beliefs like him; however, thanks to my own conscience and how I was raised, I realized sooner rather than later that this wasn’t working at all for me, which was what angered this ex friend and prompted him to just abandon me after 11 years of (supposed) best friendship that I now realize had, by that point, become totally conditional. I even see him as having been my own personal Mother Gothel now, so to speak. Thankfully though, I had found a solid group of friends who had much better advice from their own experiences, that actually did help me find friends, come out of my shell, and become more confident in the world of dating. Excuse me for going on with this self-indulgent story

I think it was interesting that you brought up that listening to him isn’t triggering to you because you’ve maybe felt similar things that he is saying before or at least that you’ve heard people say it. I think that might be something that many men seem to relate too when it comes to him. If you look at the reactions on people online when it comes to him being deplatformed, it seems the majority of men say that it’s a free speak issue and don’t find it a problem what he was advocating for, while the majority of women find it appalling and dangerous, but overall incredibly hard to listen to. I think a lot of men find “some of his points true” and agree with him more than they’d like to admit so it scares them personally seeing him punished for it. He perfectly embodies the kind of guy I try desperately to stay away from, and hearing him talk over and belittle is definitely hard to listen too. I think you come from the perspective of having helped men like him before while many of us find it absolutely impossible to reason with him, mostly because he doesn’t think we deserve to be listened too, but also because hearing things that deep down are true scare him, especially from a woman, only makes him dig an even deeper hole so he doesn’t have to face himself.

I married my husband 11 years ago because I found him to be a kind, understanding, funny and intelligent person. When we got together we didn't have much money due to various circumstances but we had our love and the desire to support each other to create a good life for us. Since then we have a daughter who is the apple of our eyes, loving friends, two adorable dogs, a successful business and a stunning house. I won't lie, you do have to work and learn hard for a good relationship but when your partner respects you and lifts you up to be your best and you do the same for them, that benefits everyone. So, the thought of having a partner like Mr. Tate would scare me and potentially would just push me into never wanting to have a relationship....and I was very close to it at some point as my father has a very similar personality to Tate. But I felt I deserved more so I ended up working on myself and realized there are men out there who are worth it, the type of men who don't buy into this toxic, female- hating agenda. Same goes to women, no matter what happened with your fathers or other male rolemodels in your life, that should not write off all men. As for which gender needs to work more: BOTH!
