- Maras is as stupid as he is cute, I placed him in a box, and even though he was comfortable, he couldn't help but notice an impostor of a tail attached to his body! Notice how he bites and licks at the same time. He's very talented.

My cat is identical to this one. Right down to the flabby belly and particular kind of screech they have. If some one showed me this video and I didn't know it's origin I'd swear this was my cat. It's uncanny.

@@Jïwa_snöw I was told a Russian Blue. I'm no expert either but the lady I got her from was a breeder and had a Siamese and the Russian and they didn't get along. She claimed she was registered but those kind of things don't really matter to me. She is incredibly finicky and pretty skittish. I think the Siamese traumatized her a pretty good bit.
I know somebody with a very similar cat, it had a British shorthair father and Russian blue mother
Its an absolute specimen, 13 or 14kg, very long, amazing green eyes and perfect elegant posture and such,
@@ryanwatterson4038 mine is an almost perfect specimen. She has one tiny white spot on her chest but otherwise completely grayish blue. She has the green/yellow eyes depending on the light and she is a beauty. She'll throw a fit if the litter box isn't up to her specifications and is an incredibly picky eater. She's also pretty vocal. I wound up with her by happenstance but I'm kinda glad. She's a good kitty.

My cat does this all the time but I've never heard him get vocal and start screaming like this one. That tail must have pissed him off bad
They most commonly do it out of boredom until they get a bit older when which sounds like your cat. This one was wailing like when cats are fighting each other, so I genuinely think this cat is on the kitty spectrum.
@sugarplum isawesome Yes, it is real. Any living creature can develop or have mental incapacities. It is fairly rare in all big and small cat breeds, but is most common with inbreeding. You will see these cases sometimes with those crazy "cat people" who have like 20 unfixed house cats, and they continue to keep inbreeding. Also if abnormal behavior develops later in a cats life it would be best to take them to a vet as they may have a parasite. There are a few types of intestinal and stomach parasites that can cause animals to go insane in a way. The most common symptom here is random aggressive behavior.
@sugarplum isawesome I would recommend getting a second opinion from another vet office. I know it is expensive, but it sounds to me like if you have an indoor car all the time she has "miliary dermatitis" which is an allergic reaction to something. Could be a flea allergy, could be a parasite, or an allergy to perhaps a chemical in one of your laundry detergent, or maybe a fabric freshener you spray around the house. Cats develop food allergies as well, so it could even possibly be something in her diet. This would explain the scabbing, and her behavior. She is most likely acting strange because she is miserable. It would be like having severe psoriasis as a human with no way to scratch it or deal with it.
Start by looking up "scabbing on cats" and you will find many ways you can possibly help your cat at home by using process of elimination to determine what she has an allergy to. But again, a second opinion from a different vet may be in order as well, just incase she does have a parasite, or flea allergy. My gf is a Vets assistant so she knows a bit about these subjects and suggests it's more likely an allergy than a parasite, but best to be sure.
