Mr Lee. Thank you for your videos. There are a lot of videos on "how to" by badminton coaches. The differentiating factor in your videos is not only the "how to" and "what to" but " why to". The "why to" gives a lot of confidence in your teaching. I started playing badminton at my age of 37. I am 41 today and thanks to your videos I am able to compete with the youngsters of today. And I am able to teach your techniques to them as well. God bless you for all your intiatives. Sundar. Pondicherry. India
Dear Sundar Thank you very much for your kind comment and I am very pleased to know that you see my clips the way you mentioned. It is very nice of you to take time to post your comment. God Bless you and your family. Lee
dear coach i myself have been playing badminton for almost 20 years butt still i find your illustrations and demonstrations very helpful, thanks a lot. May you b blessesd.
Just starting to play badminton again after a break of many years. Great to have found such a talented coach...and a free one at that! Thanks for the videos, Lee.
SIR Lee ,Thanks a lot, very good stuff for the people who cannot afford their children into coaching or for families who live far from coaching centres but still want to learn because of passion on the GAME this will sure help us all THANK YOU for efforts
Thank you very much for your kind comment. I am really pleased to know that you treat my clips in such way. I shall continue to do what I do. Thank you. Lee
I understand as I have seen some players who do as you do. You have to focus not to do it and practice. Do net drop with your friend and I am sure your eyes will be openned, do drive and try to open your eyes. Now ask your friend to smash softer, if you are successful then ask him to smash bit harder. Try to do it step by step then I am sure you will gain confidence to open your eyes. Lee
I'm 15 yrs old and I started playing badminton two months ago. I found it to be a magnificent game. I have been watching all of coach Lee's coaching videos and have improved immensely over these couple of months. Thanks for the help coach, keep the videos coming ;P
I am very pleased to know and thank you for posting your comment. Sure I am planing to record many more clips and you will be able to view it soon. Lee
Thanks coach lee. The opponents have been killing my serve all week. The tips that you gave above is very helpful. Other than technique, your advice about mental edge in serve is spot on. Instead of strategizing to win, we tend to focus on serve.
at school, i am starting badminton. this low service technique sure gets me many points, as other students cannot respond to any serve but the drive. easy points. thank you very much coach lee!
You can do many things. Skipping, leg weight training, stair run, hill stringting, jumping, running and so on. If you play hard court it may be a good idear to use good shoes with more shock absorbing capacity. Even you have good leg strength, continue playing hard court could couse knee problem. Lee
I attended badminton seminars for several times and i don't learn alot.. but buy just watching your video... i've learned to much.. thank you very much coach lee and more power,,,
wow! one more time I'm very happy with your explanation! The serve is the first step and we are able to do it, but with this video, now we understand it and sure we will improve it! Thank you Coach !
Coach Lee..thank you again for making me a better player. This is probably one of the best videos i have seen on serving technique! I used to move my whole arm on a backhand serve...now i know what to correct and will be trying to control the delivery of the shuttle.
You are most welcome and it is my great pleasure. I am very pleased to know that my clip is helping your badminton to get better. Thank you for taking time to post your comment. Lee
I hope those who play this game now without any kind of training Mr.Lee's videos must be their guidebook. I started learning from him. What about others?
Hello, teacher Lee, You has clear my doubt on backhand serve. Your advice on trusting your serve is so important and help me to serve much better now. Thank you very much.
dear coach Lee, this video helps me a lot to improve my backhand low service. i trained your tips so many many times and finally improved my service a lot better. i also watched another video and feel that i have more confidence to play in different situation. thank you so much, may God bless you.
Dear Raditya I am delighted to know that my clip have helped you. It is very nice of you to take time to post your comment. May God bless you and your family. Thank you. Lee
Thank you Coach Lee this is cool to learn to you .. because sometimes when i serve the shutle is not over if i use my backhand low service.. I can do the servic is a clear service ! . Thanks Mr. Lee :D Have a nice Day !!
Thank you very much for your kind comment and I am very pleased to know your kids are now playing badminton. Please show then the right manner related clips and right attitude related clips first. Once they have it all other things will follow very well. Lee
This helped me a lot Coach Lee! Using the advanced service which spins the shuttle made my opponent little bit stressed and can't hit that one! It was a AWESOME tutorial!!!! Again Thank you Coach Lee!
Thx a lot! Im just starting to play Badminton, and your videos are very helpfull! I´ll definetly recommend your channel to my mates. Greetings from Germany
No it is not cheating as long as your service hitting point is lower the your waist line. Not many people use it but it is right skill to use. You did right thing to look for something different. Lee
Thanks coach. The way you teach is really nice and simple to understand. I'm an average player from India, looking forward to improve my smash & backhand skills. Your 'Power Smash' video was very helpful. Thank U once again Sir.
Dear Coach, Amazingly simple, your tips are simply great. I realised the mistakes i was making while serving, especially my fingers positions were wrong while serving. I will use all your techniques
Fantastic video. I have tried to figure out how to make my serve flatter and I manage to make my serve apr. 10-15 cm flatter with these technics. And I also like your teaching style, which I also trying to learn. Thank you very much!
Hello Sir Lee. I am from Sri Lanka. We appreciate your teaching. I am trying to self learning while watching your videos. Its so much helpfully to improve. Bless you !

Hello coach, I am very proud of you the way you explaining.I am a left handed player and I am making mistakes in low serves to the corner. But this video helped me a lot to improve this situation. Now I am confident. Thanks a lot coach
Dear coach, thanks for posting the video, it is very useful and i realise i have use the wrong technique in the past, hopefully i will be able to improve in my skills and bring it to the next level, Nevertheless, a sincere big thank you!
Hi Lee unfortunately my serve has been suffering again, going too high over the net. Last night I put some thought into my serve before arriving at the badminton club and that was to point the racket down at an angle rather than holding the racket horizontal when serving. This new concept worked perfectly so I will need to remember to serve this way each time I go to play badminton. It is great to keep learning and I beat the captain of the first team which was very nice, he was unable to attack my serve which was great. I now have to get my new partner for this season to watch some of your coaching videos as his serve is dreadful. All the best big smash jim
Hello Mr Lee, here is my review: the services were quite good this time, I was even able to make the low backhand service to the near left corner, my opponent was kinda surprised :) Only a few mistaked I made, that was great! However, I do have big problems with my returns, they're always too high and my opponent is able to smash/drop the feather just behind the net ;/
Thank you for your words "believe in yourself". My constant worry that my serve will not get over the net makes me loss focus and ends with bad serve. I get demoralised at times with mistakes. One of the players noticed my dsappointment and said to me ... " Don't think about winning the game, think of how to win the next ball. " All these words help to booster my morale.
I am very pleased to know that this clip is giving you some kind of help. Try to believe your self and never doubt. You can practice it when you play match. No one plays perfect everyone makes bad and sily shots and they are all part of game. The important thing is who stay in focus and not influenced by the bad shots and learn from it and make things better on next point. Lee
thanks coach lee this was a big help but sometimes when i serve i try to put a lot of power into it and hit it straight at them which catches them by surprise. I am a little taller than most players which makes it a lot easier to do that.
Hi Lee I am from India what a brilliant idea your teaching It is really sup !! I am learning Badminton by watching your video also I have suggested my friends to watch your channel .. Really good job !! Keep uploading more videos that would be very useful.
Try a few different angle of your racket face and soon you will be able to find out thye way to make it flat. If your normal service is flat then you can do it to cross direction too. Spent a little more time, I am sure you will get it. Lee
Hello Mr. Lee, the problem is not the return when receiving a low service, that worked well after viewing your videos :) but the high returns after my service, I got to run back and have no chance to return them low ;/ thank you for your helpful tips :)
Master Lee, thanks for all the videos. Can you talk about the positioning of the service hand? Should the elbow be locked? What position should the service hand be in?
In my opinion, if there is choice then feather is better but I also do know that many players are using nylon because of it is cheaper and last loger. Lee
1. The timing of your service have to be right. Be able to select the time to make uncomfertable to your opponent. Some time delay bit more or serve a few second quicker 2. change the direction of service so he is not sure 3. do one or two flick early so he has to ready for the flick 4. Most importantly practice alot to make your service flat/tight Lee

3. do one or two flick early so he has to ready for the flick
4. Most importantly practice alot to make your service flat/tight
