Actually, after the reveal, if u go back and watch! Gin was saving Ichigo and his friends! He was just twisting his words and actions so if looked from the outside it looked bad! He was very calculating! More like someone from MHA. When he was introduced, i had chills anytime he talked to someone, but something in him made him one of my top 3 Bleach characters of all time /Matsumoto! They go together 😂

Gin ichimaru has always been one of my favorite characters even before he betrayed aizen.

Gin death scene is one of the saddest death in anime, with the OST, the scenery and dialogue just nailed it.
Gin was playing the long game against Aizen, longer than anyone else. Even as a kid he was the first to see Aizen's true nature. He sure is a wild guy, but he had respect for many of his fellows captains and shinigamis, and he truly cared about Rangiku. We didn't see enough of him 😥
IMO I wish we had more scenes with Gin but also IMO when he killed Aizen, Aizen should stayed dead for entire episode before he came back.

It's always hard to watch this episode because it makes me tear up even until now. His poem for Rangiku and then their dialogue as a kid plus the music always makes me 😢
This episode gives a mixed emotions from sad and then hype and shocked. Such a masterpiece!
Gin and Rangiku Zanpakuto are both turn into ashes is intentional. People who share a deep connection will have similar power, that's why Ichigo and his dad both have the same techniques
This reaction was off the chain. Peak episodes. For some reason, Stephanie saying “Aizen put a lot of work into that!” got me good 😂 (and Brian’s faces)
Keep in mind that Hogyoku is not a battery which you can take and put into anything. Hogyoku has a mind on its own and it chose to follow aizen.

That form of ichigo desrespecting a transended aizen( beyond soul reaper and hollow) is just a base form of ichigo's bankai after training in dangai and its not the final getsuga tenshou. Next episode will reveal what is the final getsuga tenshou. 😊

What's great about the Gin betrayal, go back and watch every scene where he did some incredibly sus things, letting Ichigo get by...several times, when he almost hit Aizen with his Bankai, if you look back, Gin wanted it so bad.
After this reveal, you realise why wonderweiss never liked Gin. He could feel his true intent.

there was some foreshadowing for Gin's betrayal, but my favorite is the name of his sword. Gin's Shikai: Shinso, meaning God's Spear, i.e.. Aizen's Spear as Aizen saw himself as a God, and his Bankai: Kamishini no Yari, or God Killing Spear, i.e. a weapon designed to kill Aizen.
Shikai being his first release, represents our first impressions of him, a subordinate of Aizen
Bankai being the final release, representing his true intentions of vengeance against Aizen.
Moments that keep Aizen humble: "When he was so full of confidence that he thought the power of his zanpakuto had destroyed the mountain" 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤣😂😂😂😂
Ichigo doesn't need to touch the sword, he was never under Kyoka Suigetsu's Perfect Hypnosis.
Urahara was right after all, Aizen got cocky when he fused himself with Hogyoku which leads to his downfall. The old Aizen is more dangerous because he used his brain.

a little explanation about gin and rangiku, rangiku had half of her soul stolen by hogyoku, unlike the other victims, she survived and became a lieutenant but was always weaker than the others and could never achieve bankai no matter how much she trained, he loved her since he was a child and hated seeing her suffer, so he planned to take revenge, gin spent years as aizen's follower to kill him and recover part of her soul, at the moment of death he apologizes for not being able to do that and for other things like leaving her alone

Keep in mind that Gin had been waiting for the right time and place to betray Aizen. Been with Aizen for years and examining his weaknesses for years to get back at him for hurting Rangiku.
Gin is technically not a good guy. He's basically doing this for Rangiku and witnessed and killed a lot of people along the way just to get revenge on Aizen. Opposing the main antagonist doesn't mean you're a good guy

As far I know, the extent of the Hogyoku is most likely limitless since it depends on the master wish. If he wishes to grow stronger than the orb will grant that, that's why Aizen keeps evolving.
The part when he just grabs his face is my favorite scene in the show. I can't think of anything else that would insult him more

Gin's Bankai translates to God Killing Spear. Aizen is effectively becoming a God. This scene was already hinted at in the name

Ichigo obtained his Bankai in 3 days, so it still had room to grow and mature compared to Shinigami who mastered theirs over hundreds of years.

12:29 grabbing weapon, or touching the blade seems to be the weakness of all sence-affecting Zanpaktou - go back to soul society arc, when tosen used his bankai vs Kenpachi... Kenpachi won fight, after catching Tosen's blade and getting his sences back.
Yamamoto was also sure, where Aizen was, once Aizen stabbed him ;)
Same probably went with Shinji... Aizen was able to see clear, when he was cut byt Shinji, and these few moments gave Aizen, what he needed to win against his former captain...

Ichigo didn't lose his reiatsu. Aizen was just looking for an excuse why he couldn't feel his reiatsu. And it was for the very same reason why noone could feel Aizen's reiatsu. He is a level above him
It’s like Ichigo said, his power is greater than Aizen’s. So his theory was wrong, Ichigo still has spiritual pressure in him. Aizen’s just can’t sense it. It was like Naruto trying to sense 10 tails.

One of my favorite manga/anime fights in history. Growing up, I expected some epic, volcano-side, red-sky battle between Ichigo and Aizen. Turns out, Ichigo just felt bad for Aizen, and absolutely owned him. So much better than what my expectations were…like Kenobi vs. Maul, and their final battle.

Him and Rangiku loved each other. Gin never acted on it because he thought he didn’t deserve her and I forgot why Rangiku didn’t act on it. Aizen took part of her soul. It was said she used to be a genius and Aizen didn’t have the intelligence to pull of what he was going to do. In take that part of her soul that left her at a normal level of intelligence for someone of her caliber.

the reason why aizen can't feel ichigo's reiatsu is because ichigo is in a higher plane than aizen, not because he converted his reiatsi for physical strenght

A lot of canons here. Gin is the Itachi of Bleach. You finally got to witness the face grab and the sword grab. Nearly threw me out of my seat the first time.
I wish Ichigo caught the Blade just like Aizen did with Ichigo back in soul society arc, if they copied one for one but reverse their spots IMO would been greatest scene in all bleach history!

Earlier, Ichigo's dad and Urahara couldn't sense Aizen's spiritual pressure, it was that much higher above them. I feel like this is what happened here and why Aizen coulcn't sense anything from Ichigo. His power was so much greater than his at this moment.

pretty much every anime has it and i kind of hate it, like Bleach with Aizen, Naruto and Sasuke with Madara are among the biggest ones, it just sucks how main bad guy spends his whole life honing his skill to the perfection just to be defeated by a teeneger who started training few months ago

Gin the Itachi of Bleach
One of the smaller things about episode 307 I love is Kubo showing what an absolute chad Mizuro is.Not only is he popular with the ladies but the dude is a savage. With no hesitation he saw Aizen as was like, "I'm gonna blow him up!"
Kubo hinted at Gin being up to something from the moment he left the Soul Society and he had that sad face when he apologized to Rangiku.
Remember when Gin tells Ichigo that he didn't know Aizen fused with the hyougoku? That's likely when Gin knew is plan got kinda fucked and he had to test Ichigo.
