Hey just thought I'd let you all know for whatever reason this reaction doesn't show up on the bleach playlist for some reason I had to go to your main page after watching the previous episode unless it somehow is just out of place but thought id let you know love your reactions and can't wait Danmachi S5 when it comes out I hear its gonna be crazy
I loved the mirroring between Ichigo and Ulquiorra; As Ichigo became more monster-like, Ulquiorra slowly became more human. This battle broke me when i saw it as a kid.
They're both great conclusions but I agree on the battle with aizen being the best, Ichigo's hollow form against ulquiorra wass epic but the ending of aizen was more exciting for me :D
33:35 your half right! This was foreshadowed when ichigo got his mask. White told him to make sure he didn't die or he would take the 'crown' and become king. In other words, he took over
As Ulquiorra “holds” Orihime in his hand: “Inside this palm…is a heart.” That’s such a great final moment for a character who showed no emotion all of his life.
Uliquorras is my all time personal favorite villains hands down. Well developed character and plot through & through. Went out like a human with emotions at the end.
Byakuya is so UNBELIEVABLY lucky that he didn't manage to actually kill Ichigo in Soul Society during their fight. This is White taking full control after Ichigo got killed (he warned Ichigo) and Soul Society likely wouldn't have survived those cero if he had gone on a rampage. White has full access to Ichigo's powers, and very little restraint, and will respond with extreme force if his host is threatened. Also, Orihime's shield varies in strength based on her mindset. At its strongest, nothing can get through it.
I can’t say much without spoiling but Ichigo would’ve been killed eventually. The Soul Society would’ve taken a lot of dmg as you mentioned though. But don’t underestimate the power of these captains, Yamamoto included.
The lengths that Ichigo goes to for Orihime is nothing short of pure love. (Granted, the hollow was gonna come out eventually but Orihime's voice was what expedited the process.)
Technically, it's a spoiler, but that's not a vasto lorde. That's his inner hollow. The TYBW perfectly explains what white actually is, but unless you've seen the first season of it, I won't go any further than that.
@@angelaizen2231 isn't White still technically a Vasto Lorde? I mean he's humanoid, has a full mask, has power rivaling a captain. I know he's an experiment but he has all the traits.
@alphawolf7417 White is complicated. He's not a vasto lorde, as he never worked up the chain of hollows like the others. White was one of Aizen's experiments. He created white the same way all asauchi are made, according to nimaiya. White is basically a hollowfied zanpakuto.

Just to clarify something Ulquiorra was actually the strongest espada because of his second form. Kubo is very careful with the placement of his number. Its on his chest. When he goes on to the second release, his number disappears. Indicating that he is beyond the ranks. Compare that to Yammy whose number just goes from 10 to 0. Brother Kubo is a genius with the subtle details
It was in this moment, witnessing Ichigo's transformation, that I realized 'Bleach' wasn't just another anime. The sheer magnitude of his Vasto Lorde form hinted at lore far deeper and more intricate than the surface might suggest.
The aspect of Ulquiorra's death was emptiness. This is covered in OCB3 Unmasked where we understand a little more about his history and the reasons that led him to have this nihilistic characteristic. It's somewhat poetic that we see him dying from the moment he started to believe in something like the heart, which he questioned several times before and during his fight against Ichigo. I love Bleach ❤
@@jons_7402Correct! It will be mentioned by Barragan before releasing his Resurrection. When I mentioned Unmasked I didn't mean to say that Ulquiorra's Death Aspect only appears there, but that it helps to better understand his personality and origin.
30:28 someone mentioned on other reactor's video that at this moment you will see the shift from black and white to colored. This is to represent when Ulquiorra started to have a fascination towards humans.

Something to remember here is what white said a long time ago if ichigo fails he will take the kings throne. White has always been their to protect ichigo when he is on the brink of death and now ichigo was dying white did what he promised
the form that ichigo took in this episode is know as "Vasto Lorde", the vasto lorde are the last and more powerfull evolution of a hollow and only the first 4 member of the espadas was a vasto lorde before they become a espada.
@santoselizalde4403 Actually tbh it was never his VASTO LORDE form...the entire community always makes this mistake. Let me clarify it: Vasto lorde ar arrancars who have human intellect and speech capabilities, that is what distinguishes arrangers and Vasto lordes... It's like arrancars are the ocean and Vasto lordes are the ocean concentrated into a cup, a higher density of strength with iq and eq. Even in BBS the official bleach game, Ichigo was never called Vasto Lorde in that form...he was always referred to as Fully Hallowfied Ichigo and even Kubo confirmed it that that form of ichigo was not vasto lorde ichigo but rather fully hallowfied ichigo.
So in this episode, hollowed ichigo overpowered ulqiuorra...but in truth, they were basically on the same level... In this form, for the most part, they are evenly matched... Also to note, that WAS NOT ichigo...that was the inner hollow who took over because ichigo died... Also, 25:05 most ppl read that situation wrong....hollow ichigo wasn't trying to "carve him up"...he KNEW ulqiuorra was still alive, and was going to double down on killing him....
They wer not evenly matched, Ichigo was at 25% power of the form and still dominated Ulquiorra with ease. Ichigo's clothes essentially display how much power he has, the more nude he is, the weaker he gets
His bankais reaitsu is directly proportional to how much of his cloak is left, he basically had a sleeve of bankai left and overpowered ulquiorra. This is why when his hollow and quincy are fused, at full power, he can overpower aizen after hogyoku
I love how Ichgo doesn't know anything about himself, a main character with apparently no purpose but protect his loved ones, facing Ulquiorra the monster with no purpose for himself but follow orders. By fighting against each other, Ulquiorra started to understand the human within himself and Ichigo started to understand the hollow within himself too. This fight gave them purpose
one of the best fights in the whole Bleach..so epic..u'll understand Ulquiorra more when u know what his existence represents..and also, u havent seen epicness yet..ooooh..cant wait..
Ichigo was brought close to death and the hollow took over. Ichigo name means number one guardian. His soul reaper side is the noble part of warrior. His hollow side is the part of the warrior that craves power just for survival. His hollow side is instinct it self.
His shinigami side is the side that protects others at the cost of himself, while his hollow side is the side that protects himself at the cost of others
ichigo mask changes whenever his hollow power upgrades and this form he taken to beat ulquiorra is just his inner hollow soul taken over since ichigo was technically dead the hollow form with a tail ichigo took when training with shinji and hiyori was about 95% hollow form since the mark there isnt complete this is ichigo inner hollow purest form takeover

Remember when White or Hollow Ichigo told Ichigo if you really want to control my power, make sure you don't die before i show up again...Well that is why...Ichigo died and he just took over Ichigo's body and went in pure killer instinct mode...The only thing that was left of Ichigo was the last thing he wanted to do, which was protect Inoue... Little censorship here...in the manga, Ulquiorra rip Uryu arms off !!
A little info ichigos mask changes during the anime the red design meaning its evolving kind of how hollows change from from 1 form to another and another shown in Grimjaws story.
Fun fact: In manga series, at the development of this fight, we can see his "substitute shinigami badge" slowly breaking. For some people who already knows at this point, it was this item that was restraining most of his powers during his fights. So, in this battle we can see for a moment, our boy Ichigo going all-out for once.
the autor did a own book for Ullquiorra. side information is, he lost his purpose to life when he was the aspect of "Emptyness" and then he got interessted in people, like he seaid. thats why he was get into dust. noone else did when they died, remember. he has a very nice story.

Rmb the original point of a Hollow's hole is what they desired most and craved most, cux it's what they wanted when they were alive and despaired not having it, becoming a Hollow For Uluqiorra,it was emptiness, there are no friends etc, just very empty. Simply living life and following orders, Simply being an observer on the sidelines for most of the things. He desired a heart full of life.
OK, so, you talked over it and missed it. Ulquiorra cannot regenerate his brain or internal organs. But ALSO, you may not understand the significance, but the Arrancar represent emotions and states of mind relating to death, and Ulquiorra's is Nihilism. The belief that all of life is pointless and meaningless... But as he died, he finally understood what a heart and what emotion was. So, in the end, what really killed him was him going against his own nature and finally seeing meaning in life

29:43 Ichigo befriended Hollows. He's not there to exterminate hollows. Even before Soul Society arc, he said that he only wanted to protect. Like against Byakuya, he's not there to kill him. His fight is against the bureaucracy that turns a brother into hurting his sister. Same here, he's not fighting Ulquiora, his protecting his friends. Ulquiora and the other Arrancars are just on his way of protecting them.
Its funny the way they're gueesing what save Ichigo. xD They dont know. Sometimes I would like to forget what I have already seen in order to relive those exciting moments as if it were the first time.

Hey just thought I'd let you all know for whatever reason this reaction doesn't show up on the bleach playlist for some reason I had to go to your main page after watching the previous episode unless it somehow is just out of place but thought id let you know love your reactions and can't wait Danmachi S5 when it comes out I hear its gonna be crazy
I loved the mirroring between Ichigo and Ulquiorra; As Ichigo became more monster-like, Ulquiorra slowly became more human. This battle broke me when i saw it as a kid.

They're both great conclusions but I agree on the battle with aizen being the best, Ichigo's hollow form against ulquiorra wass epic but the ending of aizen was more exciting for me :D
Ehhh while I agree it’s peak i personally believe yhwach has a better conclusion but Ulquiorras ultimately is more liked then Aizens defeat

Uliquorras is my all time personal favorite villains hands down. Well developed character and plot through & through. Went out like a human with emotions at the end.

Ulquiorra and Ichigo...The hollow who became more human...the human who became more hollow...
Byakuya is so UNBELIEVABLY lucky that he didn't manage to actually kill Ichigo in Soul Society during their fight. This is White taking full control after Ichigo got killed (he warned Ichigo) and Soul Society likely wouldn't have survived those cero if he had gone on a rampage. White has full access to Ichigo's powers, and very little restraint, and will respond with extreme force if his host is threatened.
Also, Orihime's shield varies in strength based on her mindset. At its strongest, nothing can get through it.
I can’t say much without spoiling but Ichigo would’ve been killed eventually. The Soul Society would’ve taken a lot of dmg as you mentioned though. But don’t underestimate the power of these captains, Yamamoto included.

The lengths that Ichigo goes to for Orihime is nothing short of pure love.
(Granted, the hollow was gonna come out eventually but Orihime's voice was what expedited the process.)

That’s not what happened. Ichigo was actually about to die or a died for a little and his inner hollow took over and saved him.
Technically, it's a spoiler, but that's not a vasto lorde. That's his inner hollow. The TYBW perfectly explains what white actually is, but unless you've seen the first season of it, I won't go any further than that.
@@angelaizen2231 isn't White still technically a Vasto Lorde? I mean he's humanoid, has a full mask, has power rivaling a captain. I know he's an experiment but he has all the traits.
@alphawolf7417 White is complicated. He's not a vasto lorde, as he never worked up the chain of hollows like the others. White was one of Aizen's experiments. He created white the same way all asauchi are made, according to nimaiya. White is basically a hollowfied zanpakuto.

Just to clarify something Ulquiorra was actually the strongest espada because of his second form.
Kubo is very careful with the placement of his number. Its on his chest. When he goes on to the second release, his number disappears. Indicating that he is beyond the ranks.
Compare that to Yammy whose number just goes from 10 to 0.

This whole arc made me fall more for Ichigo, Orihime and Ulquiorra. They're my fav characters till this day.

An example of the kind of strength this Ichigo has.
The aspect of Ulquiorra's death was emptiness. This is covered in OCB3 Unmasked where we understand a little more about his history and the reasons that led him to have this nihilistic characteristic. It's somewhat poetic that we see him dying from the moment he started to believe in something like the heart, which he questioned several times before and during his fight against Ichigo. I love Bleach ❤

the form that ichigo took in this episode is know as "Vasto Lorde", the vasto lorde are the last and more powerfull evolution of a hollow and only the first 4 member of the espadas was a vasto lorde before they become a espada.

Actually tbh it was never his VASTO LORDE form...the entire community always makes this mistake.
Let me clarify it:
Vasto lorde ar arrancars who have human intellect and speech capabilities, that is what distinguishes arrangers and Vasto lordes...
It's like arrancars are the ocean and Vasto lordes are the ocean concentrated into a cup, a higher density of strength with iq and eq.
Even in BBS the official bleach game, Ichigo was never called Vasto Lorde in that form...he was always referred to as Fully Hallowfied Ichigo and even Kubo confirmed it that that form of ichigo was not vasto lorde ichigo but rather fully hallowfied ichigo.
So in this episode, hollowed ichigo overpowered ulqiuorra...but in truth, they were basically on the same level...
In this form, for the most part, they are evenly matched...
Also to note, that WAS NOT ichigo...that was the inner hollow who took over because ichigo died...
Also, 25:05 most ppl read that situation wrong....hollow ichigo wasn't trying to "carve him up"...he KNEW ulqiuorra was still alive, and was going to double down on killing him....
They wer not evenly matched, Ichigo was at 25% power of the form and still dominated Ulquiorra with ease. Ichigo's clothes essentially display how much power he has, the more nude he is, the weaker he gets
His bankais reaitsu is directly proportional to how much of his cloak is left, he basically had a sleeve of bankai left and overpowered ulquiorra. This is why when his hollow and quincy are fused, at full power, he can overpower aizen after hogyoku
I love how Ichgo doesn't know anything about himself, a main character with apparently no purpose but protect his loved ones, facing Ulquiorra the monster with no purpose for himself but follow orders. By fighting against each other, Ulquiorra started to understand the human within himself and Ichigo started to understand the hollow within himself too. This fight gave them purpose
The form is a thing about what the hollow Ichigo was telling him try not die until they meet again, but he did.

Ichigo was brought close to death and the hollow took over. Ichigo name means number one guardian. His soul reaper side is the noble part of warrior. His hollow side is the part of the warrior that craves power just for survival. His hollow side is instinct it self.
His shinigami side is the side that protects others at the cost of himself, while his hollow side is the side that protects himself at the cost of others

Fun fact: In manga series, at the development of this fight, we can see his "substitute shinigami badge" slowly breaking. For some people who already knows at this point, it was this item that was restraining most of his powers during his fights. So, in this battle we can see for a moment, our boy Ichigo going all-out for once.

For Uluqiorra,it was emptiness, there are no friends etc, just very empty. Simply living life and following orders, Simply being an observer on the sidelines for most of the things. He desired a heart full of life.
OK, so, you talked over it and missed it. Ulquiorra cannot regenerate his brain or internal organs. But ALSO, you may not understand the significance, but the Arrancar represent emotions and states of mind relating to death, and Ulquiorra's is Nihilism. The belief that all of life is pointless and meaningless... But as he died, he finally understood what a heart and what emotion was. So, in the end, what really killed him was him going against his own nature and finally seeing meaning in life

29:43 Ichigo befriended Hollows. He's not there to exterminate hollows. Even before Soul Society arc, he said that he only wanted to protect. Like against Byakuya, he's not there to kill him. His fight is against the bureaucracy that turns a brother into hurting his sister. Same here, he's not fighting Ulquiora, his protecting his friends. Ulquiora and the other Arrancars are just on his way of protecting them.
I love how you don't truly understand this form of Ichigo until the Thousand Year Blood War arc.
