Did you figure out a way to reconnect the 12 volt plug?

Yes. I bought an adapter with and pigtail on it for a cigarette outlet. Then I cut it off so I had a way toe wire it. It has a female and a male. Kind of a jumper. It worked out really good. Now I can take it out also and everything unplugs.

I love the console. It should be an option. So much storage in a regular cab truck now.
