I found you by accident several yrs ago. I never sewed before. Since meeting you on line, I bought a sewing machine, tons of fabric, most all your templates, watch all your videos, and now have hours of fun creating my own patterns and copying yours…an entire new hobby. In short, THANK YOU. I just wanted you to know, you changed my life.
Lol , it is complicated to me because i have a hard time seeing but , i will watch Jenny and Natalie a few more times and then i'll make one for myself. It is sooo beautiful! Thank you sweet ladies !😊❤❤❤
I love how Jenny and Natalie teach step by step because some of us are beginners and we need to be told those little things…everything isn’t so obvious to some. Thank you!❤
This is the pattern I used to make my husband's quilt of valor. I made the piano key boarder as well as the Vietnam insignia at the top. He loved it. It was done in patriotic fabric of course.
Did you post a pic? If not, could you please...maybe do one for my brother who served in Vietnam. Thank you and tell you husband Than you for his service!
I made this quilt last summer after watching this tutorial. I absolutely loved putting this one together. I'm sure it was wonky, but I gifted it to my grandson, and he carries it everywhere. I love your tutorials. They make it easy for me to follow! ❤❤
@k.d.5247 I actually cut them out of leftover material I had, matching colors that were similar to the tutorial. It was fun to coordinate the colors my self.😊
I made Sticks and Stones for my best friend’s husband in batiks in his favorite team color, Dodger blue. He was critically I’ll and passed six months later. She said he wrapped himself in it every day. It is not only a very attractive quilt, it is super easy to make. Thanks for a great pattern.
I just love Natalie she is the sweetest gal and I know she is very knowledgeable about quilting. I enjoy everything she does. She got me back into my embroidery.thanks Nat.
I love when a quilt looks really complicated, but is actually simple to do! This is right up my alley! I'm going to be searching for the perfect Jelly Roll to use!
I agree! I have some leftover 1 and a half inch strips . It won't be enough for a quilt, but maybe a table topper! My mom and I sewed together often, and sometimes, some unsewing too😅
I really appreciate this quilt. It's the first pattern I made for myself after my husband passed. I made it in blues and it's so calm and comforting. I love seeing it on the bed!
Was just thinking something similar. I have a small mountain of 30s print scraps (my favorite) & was thinking this would be a perfect way to use up a lot of them. Stash buster!
I really enjoy when you redo a pattern you have done earlier and use a totally different fabric. Makes a totally different look to the quilt. Helps me visualize different fabric combinations. Thank you
Even a simple, sweet pattern, in a beautiful fabric, makes me want to get out of bed to piece. A new video by Jenny and Natalie exited me every time! Happy sewing!
There is an older tutuorial Jenny did and I really wish I had seen it first. In it, she emphasizes how important it is to maintain an exact 1/4" seam allowance. She says you cannot fudge it like you can other patterns. This is so true, THIS IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS. If you do not have an even 1/4 seam, the cascading blocks will not match up when you put the blocks together. Ask me how I know. I have a wonky quilt top, but I'm not ripping the whole thing. So frustrating. And yes, I've done all the methods to get 1/4 seam allowance.
I made this for a friend 😊 I absolutely love it. I think it’s my favorite one this year. I wish I could share it with you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it’s gonna be hard to give it up. Thank you Jenny
Jenny and Natalie, this is so pretty. I am excited to try this. You work so well as a team. It would be splendid to have a partner as you quilt. Great demonstration and explanation 😁! Great job. Be well, God be with you till we meet again. Thank you for sharing this with us 🙏💖🤟🍀✂️🪡🧵🦓Liz
I sew LOVE how Natalie is the "calm" and Jenny pumps us up to get movin' and put those creative juices to good use !.... I know this because I am the "Jenny" ,,, my Debby is my "Natalie"... God is good to us Mom's!
This IS a favorite! I made a gorgeous Christmas quilt in this pattern in 2017 and this Christmas I’m making an indigo and white version for my son. I’m stitching the binding and it is just breathtaking. I love it. I’m giving it to him anyway! ❤ What’s great about this pattern is that it resembles traditional patterns: log cabin, fence rail, Irish chain-but it looks like all these patterns but with a “twist.” This quilt feels like a lot of cutting but it’s much simpler than the fabulous end product appears! LOVE Sticks and Stones!
I love to see two of you together working on a project. I think it is so nice. I love triple play. too. Being alone works. But to be able to talk to the camera another human makes it special.
This looks like a pretty easy pattern for a beginner like myself, maybe I’ll give it a go on a smaller scale to begin with. Thank you so much for sharing all your tips and patterns with us. ❤️🙏
Instead of having the white all-in-one piece, I think I would have scattered white keys in amongst the darker keys. That way, it would look more like a piano. But hibdsight is always better.
This is the very first quilt I started. I got everything cut out & several blocks sewed together, then it sat for 8 years. It's now finished & beautiful. I used an assortment of blue batiks & a rust color for my accent. Thank you Jenny & Natalie for your vids.
Love the strip patterns! Jenny, you and Natalie make a great team! Two beautiful ladies! Thanks for the instruction; I think I can do this one. Cheers!
Wow you are both looking amazing. I love that you have both lost so much eight. I had a bariatric sleeve 5 yrs ago & lost 7 stone. Love this tutorial. I can piece but not quilt due to my back problems. I love you tutorials. How many of your children are left handed ?
Jenny and Natalie, you make a great team. I have really enjoyed the Favorite 15 quilt pattern remakes this year. They have been a good reminder of your past patterns. It's easy to forget the oldies as we're seeing new patterns come out. I'm excited to see that I already have the Sticks and Stones pattern in my 2015 MSQ Block Magazine, Vol 2, Issue 4. The quilt in the magazine is made with beautiful Kansas Troubles fabrics. It's going on my list of quilts to make in 2024!
Like it so much! You two are so lovely. Natalie just glows. This year if I get back down to Missouri, I am stopping in at Hamilton. Last Sept. I was in Kansas on base to see my niece and events up here in Wisconsin forced me to deter from Hamilton. I want to see Missouri Star. Merry Christmas. Adore you ladies.
Love this pattern! I think it would make a beautiful Christmas quilt in reds and greens prints and the white 2.5 quarters. Great job as always. Love you all!
Love this pattern, I have a few Jelly-Rolls just waiting to become quilts. Thank you for bringing back these patterns. Purchased the digital and tomorrow I am making this quilt.
I just love the quilt patterns you come up with! I want to make all of them! I am into the star patterns lately. I think they are so pretty!! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I found you by accident several yrs ago. I never sewed before. Me too! My hobby was/is still beaded jewelry & I was searching charms for bracelets & found Jenny sewing charm squares! Now I have two hobbies!😊❤
Jenny is the reason I started quilting. That was about 15 years ago.
Natalie has just blossomed. She is delightful.
Lol , it is complicated to me because i have a hard time seeing but , i will watch Jenny and Natalie a few more times and then i'll make one for myself. It is sooo beautiful! Thank you sweet ladies !😊❤❤❤
I love this pattern. And I just want to tell Natalie that she is looking great.
I love the way you done the border as it only makes it more beautiful!❤❤❤
Always enjoy when Natalie is there to help you.
I love that Natalie is joining in on the videos. It’s sweet to see how you work together. ❤
I do too. Natalie is awesome. ❤
I love Natalie ❤️ when she helps!!!
I love how Jenny and Natalie teach step by step because some of us are beginners and we need to be told those little things…everything isn’t so obvious to some. Thank you!❤
I LOVE these “favorite 15” quilt tutorials! What a great idea! Thank you!
What are the favorite 15 quilts?
@@sherrygunst3254😊
A great project to use up all those spare jelly roll strips, making it scrappy.
This is the pattern I used to make my husband's quilt of valor. I made the piano key boarder as well as the Vietnam insignia at the top. He loved it. It was done in patriotic fabric of course.
I have been wanting to make my brother a quilt of valor and just could not settle on a quilt pattern. I think you have just made up my mind for me!
Please tell your husband Welcome Home 🇺🇸
Did you post a pic? If not, could you please...maybe do one for my brother who served in Vietnam. Thank you and tell you husband Than you for his service!
I made this quilt last summer after watching this tutorial. I absolutely loved putting this one together. I'm sure it was wonky, but I gifted it to my grandson, and he carries it everywhere. I love your tutorials. They make it easy for me to follow! ❤❤
Did you really use all of the strips in the roll? I have 4 that are too light but useable. I was hoping I could eliminate them!
@k.d.5247 I actually cut them out of leftover material I had, matching colors that were similar to the tutorial. It was fun to coordinate the colors my self.😊
@@JulieCrawford-l8r I thought about that. Great idea! I’ll have to dig through my scraps to see what might work. Thanks
I’ve made this pattern. Twice. Thank you Jenny.
I made Sticks and Stones for my best friend’s husband in batiks in his favorite team color, Dodger blue. He was critically I’ll and passed six months later. She said he wrapped himself in it every day. It is not only a very attractive quilt, it is super easy to make. Thanks for a great pattern.
This really is much easier than it looks. It's on my " to-do" list for 2024. Thank you, ladies for your easy to follow tutorial. 😊
Hi friends from Saudi Arabia.so beautiful as usual.thank you Jenny .
I just love Natalie she is the sweetest gal and I know she is very knowledgeable about quilting. I enjoy everything she does. She got me back into my embroidery.thanks Nat.
This pattern is so in my wheelhouse. The piano key border is perfect with it!
I love when a quilt looks really complicated, but is actually simple to do! This is right up my alley! I'm going to be searching for the perfect Jelly Roll to use!
Yes, exactly. It looks complicated, but when Jenny and Natalie break it down, it is totally doable!!
I think it would look good scrappy too
I think this is on my to do list now! Would you consider making a "Favorite 15" play list?
That's a beautiful quilt!! Thank you Jenny and Natalie, for the demonstration !! ❤❤
I LOVE WATCHING YOU LADIES. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL OF YOUR QUILTS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE BEAUTIFUL QUILTS YOU HAVE SHARED.
It is a lot of math, but you did all the work for us Jenny and Natalie. Thank you for showing us how to make this beautiful quilt so easily. 💕
Love this quilt. It's on my to-do list for 2024 also! Thank you, Jenny and Natalie. Looking forward to another Triple Play book! 😉❤️
You''ve made this look so easy, I'm putting it on my 'to do' list!
I cut a lot of.my scraps into 2.5 inch strips. Looks like a great way to use them up.
Was just thinking something similar. I have a small mountain of 30s print scraps (my favorite) & was thinking this would be a perfect way to use up a lot of them. Stash buster!

You are so fun to watch! I have just been watching the binding video. Laughed so much and learned so much. 🥰🥰🥰

Love this block Jenny and Natalie! The fabric collection is so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this video. ❤❤😊
I made Sticks & Stones for a gift a few years back using batiks, and it came out beautiful. I like seeing it with a different style of jelly roll!
There is an older tutuorial Jenny did and I really wish I had seen it first. In it, she emphasizes how important it is to maintain an exact 1/4" seam allowance. Merry Christmas!
I am so excited with the fabric I am going to use for this-with black! I got TWO jellyrolls to make it larger!
I like the solid white squares done here😂- so much than black
I made this for a friend 😊 I absolutely love it. I think it’s my favorite one this year. I wish I could share it with you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it’s gonna be hard to give it up. Thank you Jenny
I love this way quilt. But I especially love your camaraderie.

Love it when you both work together on a tutorial. Thank you for sharing your knowledge so freely with us. Merry Christmas to all at Missouri Star.
I think I would use black for the 21/2 squares, and a batik jelly roll

I really like the idea of sewing "half" blocks as you can really mix those fabrics up!
Merry Christmas Jenny and Natalie 🎄
Love U ladies, Thank U so much
Beautiful. 💕
Thank you all for your hard work this year 🎉🎉🎉
Like some others mentioned, this was a great scrap buster for me. I just got it pieced and it turned out nice. Thanks for the pattern and tutorial.
I have so enjoyed your favorite 15 series. It’s great to go back and revisit some of these classics thank you.
Instead of having the white all-in-one piece, I think I would have scattered white keys in amongst the darker keys. That way, it would look more like a piano. But hibdsight is always better.
