I remember your first solo tutorial, and you have come a long way from that shy young girl you was. You are NOT a mini Jenny, you are a beautiful creative person in your own right. A Beautiful well delivered tutorial.
I agree! I have always enjoyed Natalie’s perspective in joint episodes. My brain works like hers I think, because her tips always make sense to me. I’m so happy to see her getting comfortable in front of the camera! I look forward to seeing more of her!
I need to make this quilt because it reminds me of my Mother. She was born on October 3, 1924 and her name was Mildred. Her nickname was "Millie". I know she would have loved this quilt, and I have the perfect fabric for it. My Mom passed away on Sept. 8, 2012 and I miss her very much! Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us, Natalie!
In the middle of Hurricane Helen with no power (grateful for generator), no TV service, intermittent Internet, incredible wind & rain, huge trees down, & it’s only the beginning. Trying to watch Natalie to escape the obvious! MSQC is always there for us! THANK YOU NATALIE & MSQC!🫶🛐🫶
Quilting and MSQC video's, it's a wonderful way to calm ourselves during less than peaceful weather. Stay safe and know that others are praying for the safety and well-being of our friends in stormy locations.
Natalie you did a fabulous tutorial. Being a friend of your parents since Our teen years I'm so excited to watch her family following in her footsteps. You are a true artist in all you do.
Natalie, you make it look so easy and your block looks so flat without pressing the seems open. Who doesn’t have a spare layer cake around to try an easy fun pattern? Thanks for sharing this great project.
Nat, you are amazing, just like your Momma! You and Missy have had the absolute best teacher! I just know she must be so proud of the woman you have become. God Bless You and your family, including the MSQ family!❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Natalie, you are a GREAT teacher! I always watch your videos! I ever watch M’s as she assumes too much and I watch J’s only if it is a quilt I am interested in asking. I love this quilt. You are a terrific designer too.
Such a fun quilt. I love your gentle spirit. It’s a great way to start my day. I was wondering why you put the same color in your block. It looks like each quarter is a different color. So fun to see how the magic happens. Hugs
wow, that is not the block I saw - I saw 4 of the sashed hsq sewn together with a "sashing" of charm squares and the white cornerstone... Natalie's way is very cool!
i love Natalies nice quiet way of teaching.. and that she keeps the workspace clear as she works. when the soace is cluttered i get distracted. Everything was so concise and simply presented. Natalie is so calm and relaxing to watch. i dismissed the quilt at first as too complicated ( i am dyslexic quilting is a challenge)and was astounded at the simplicity of construction. Thank you Natalie. This one is now on my MustDo list. Hurricane or not.. this day starts off well🎉
Maybe it’s the presser foot pressure? There may be a way of making it press down a bit more than it does now, so the fabric isn’t quite so loose under it. I don’t know if this can be adjusted on all types of sewing machines, but it might be worth asking the next time you take it in for servicing.
Loved the tutorial! Having my breakfast with a cup of tea and watching Missouri Star. This pattern is perfect!! Thank you Natalie. I love the calm way you explain things. Take care.
This is so beautiful! It looks like a modified churn dash. Took me awhile to figure out why it looked so familiar; but I really like it. It’s very geometric. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Natalie I love your videos. You're so calm and precise which is my style. And I especially love that you're not extra chatty. Your tutorials are simply the best. Great job
Lovely quilt! I love the illusion of circles. I agree with your other comments. You are unique and wonderful! Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge!!!❤
Seeing this for the first time. Very beautiful. I would like to start. Since I'm South African - we use no yards and inches, wish I can have the our way, cm and mm and meters... Keep up the good work Natalie.
Natalie, I had no idea this was a one-block quilt until you laid the block out and said "that's it". And what a beautiful line of fabric. I like that there seem to be no real light and darks, all are about the same value. So rare in a pre-cut! I'll defiitely be making this!
Beautiful quilt Natalie. I love it. Funny, even after you made it, I still couldn’t place it in your quilt. I know you showed us but it was too fast for me, lol. Seemed so easy to make and fun. Thank you. Natalie, you look so nice as usual and you always put on such a nice tutorial…
Hey! So enjoyed your video! You did wonderful, our Lil' Mini Jenny!❤ So, smile, relax and have fun! I definitely want to try this pattern. Thanks you so much for keeping the ball rolling. 😘
Great quilt, Natalie. I am going to make a baby size because the larger blocks will show more of the cute animal prints on my fabric. Good job teacher.
Its hard to believe quilting is not her first love, 'cause she is do good at it. She is an extremely talented multi crafter. Thank you for sharing your quilty talents😊
Love, love, love your quilts Natalie. Always so colorful and interesting. And you make it seem so easy. Thank you for all that you do for us beginner quilters.
I love this quilt, and the tutorial was perfect for giving me all of the info I would need to make this myself. I can also picture it with sashing between the blocks, the same narrow white, making it a bit larger and maybe emphasizing the possible secondary patterns? Thanks, Natalie, for this great project.
I love this pattern! GREAT use of those 10" squares (which I seem to have an addiction to accumulating). I can just see this in Christmas or Fall fabrics as a throw on the back of a sofa. Might even make one with a border to enlarge the end product. THANK YOU ... and a WONDERFUL job of "tutoring" us all, Natalie!
Loved you tutorial. As you say it is very simple. Great one to do for my 8 year old granddaughter Millie. Look forward to more Natalie. You are a star ✨
How fun! I love what you said about it being smaller not harder. Great attitude, easy to follow, I have a layer cake perfect for this pattern. I love the table runner with the leftovers too! Thank you for sharing.
This fabric is absolutely gorgeous Natalie. Such intense colour! This quilt looks harder than it is to make (my favourite kind of quilt), and has great visual impact especially when you love the fabric because you don’t lose much of the prints. It could look completely different if you play around with HST placement (say, making sure that each square-in-a-square shape uses the same colour HST’s would make it look less scrappy. Or instead, leave it as is, but snowball the 16 centre white/background HSTs with the leftover 6 layer cake squares cut into 2.5” squares). There are several possibilities. Thanks for the inspiration!❤
Natalie - great tutorial. You are so sweet and super smart. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. I know you make your mom and dad so proud.
Very fun quilt! And I love that baking!! You are a great designer and teacher Nat. Thank you for continuing to teach us and giving us a new tutorial each Friday.
This quilt pattern is so interesting. With these fabrics it is so joyful. It would also be very striking in a two or three color setting. Wonderful tutorial, Natalie. Thanks for sharing. Take care and blessings to y'all.

What a cool quilt! So many "hidden" shapes. My eyes can't decide which one to settle on. I definitely want to make it. Great job Nat !
I rested on the white square blocks. Agree beautiful
Wow! My eyes! So many different ways to look at that quilt. I love it!
Natalie what a pleasure to watch you so relaxed and so very easy to watch and learn from you. Your mum must be so very proud

Take care. ❤ from New Zealand.😮
I'm awake listening to the winds, too. Night time is the worst for huge storms!

Lovely quilt...and no pattern needed! Whoop! Whoop! Nicely done Natalie.
This quilt looks much more complicated than it actually is. I love the fabric line you chose Natalie. What a great tutorial. Thanks so much.
Wow, I love this and Miss Natalie thank you for the inspiration and great teaching
Indeed, INDEED! Natalie, I love you more as I watch your creations come alive!! We can do this! Stunning quilt!
Great Job Natalie!
You are an excellent quilt teacher!
Natalie, this is a fun quilt. I didn’t see the blocks at first. Saw the square in a square. Putting this on my to do list. Thank you 🎉
Natalie you did a fabulous tutorial. Being a friend of your parents since Our teen years I'm so excited to watch her family following in her footsteps. You are a true artist in all you do.
Natalie, you and your mother share such an easy and clear style in your communication. It is such a pleasure to learn from you. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you Natalie! Great instructions!
Natalie, you make it look so easy and your block looks so flat without pressing the seems open. Who doesn’t have a spare layer cake around to try an easy fun pattern? Thanks for sharing this great project.

I live on a property that has a grist mill and saw mill. This would be the perfect quilt to use in my miller’s house.
Natalie, you are a GREAT teacher! I always watch your videos! I ever watch M’s as she assumes too much and I watch J’s only if it is a quilt I am interested in asking. I love this quilt. You are a terrific designer too.
I love this quilt block! It really does look involved! Who knew it was so simple. Great job, Natalie!❤
Great job! This would be great 3 color quilt, too!!
I always love when you do tutorials, Natalie. It is so easy to follow your soothing voice and your instructions are so clear. Thank you!
I hope you do all the tutorials from now on,you are so fun and so easy to understand!

Absolutely gorgeous Natalie. You knocked it out of the park!♥️
Beautiful quilt. Terrific job demonstrating and explaining. I enjoy your style.
Great tutorial love the quilt. Thank you Natalie❤
Such a fun quilt. I love your gentle spirit. It’s a great way to start my day. I was wondering why you put the same color in your block. It looks like each quarter is a different color. So fun to see how the magic happens. Hugs
What a beautiful, simple pattern. Thank you, Natalie ❤🎉😊
Natalie, I've learned you are a master artist! God has certainly gifted you in a mighty way. I am cheering you on as your Mom is away. ❤️
wow, that is not the block I saw - I saw 4 of the sashed hsq sewn together with a "sashing" of charm squares and the white cornerstone... Natalie's way is very cool!
I know what you mean. It fools the eye.
i love the fact that she sews the 1 inch strips to HSTs and that makes it 5 inches. That makes my heart happy! It greatly reduces waste.
I love this quilt. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the bonus squares was a dresser scarf to go with the quilt.
Nat I am like you, I want them perfectly squared up, always easier in the long run. Thank you
Sometimes the easiest patterns makes the most stunning quilts. Of course, your fabric choice makes a difference too. You’re an excellent teacher.
Really, really love this one. It would be great when you have prints that you want to showcase. Amazing as always Natalie!
i love Natalies nice quiet way of teaching.. and that she keeps the workspace clear as she works. when the soace is cluttered i get distracted.
Hurricane or not.. this day starts off well🎉
We will miss your mom but Natalie you did a beautiful job. I love the quilt and I might try it myself. Thank you dear.
The sashing changes this up so much! Great quilt!
Way to go Natalie, you are wonderful. I am so very grateful you are making Friday mornings your own. You are the best.
I love how the triangles float in the quilt!
My seam curves off to the left almost every time. Drives my crazy!
Maybe it’s the presser foot pressure? There may be a way of making it press down a bit more than it does now, so the fabric isn’t quite so loose under it. I don’t know if this can be adjusted on all types of sewing machines, but it might be worth asking the next time you take it in for servicing.
Use a stiletto to guide the end of the seam. Works for me!!
Thank you to show the chain connection part! It will help me keep a block together as I must work on quilts in 'snippets'!
I love Natalie’s videos. You are pleasant and inviting while being no nonsense about your sewing. I hope to see more if your videos.
Love this quilt and your calm teaching is fabulous.
This is so cool! And I love the optical illusion in the runner-circles! Great job!

Thank you for being so specific with your instructions

I love the quilt. My favorite type of quilts are the simple ones that look complicated.

What a sweet quilt! I had no idea till I saw the block in the quilt! It has such beautiful secondary look! I will have to try this one!
Natalie stunning block design. More sewing but ohhhh so worth it. I find this relaxing as all the same as you said chain piecing.
Natalie, I love this quilt! I don’t usually like using a 1” piece but the effect is gorgeous! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial!❤
Hey! So enjoyed your video! You did wonderful, our Lil' Mini Jenny!❤ So, smile, relax and have fun! I definitely want to try this pattern. Thanks you so much for keeping the ball rolling. 😘

Love how it shows off the fabric
