Oh my gosh, I cant believe Brita went mainstream! Its so great to see small content creators collab with bigger channels, I hope to see more of Brita's idea, id love to see her Moroccan tiles with one of Missouri Star's curated fabric collections!
Brita, The Questioning Quilter creates some amazing quilts. I've been following her RUclips tutorials for awhile. It's amazing what you can create from basic quilt blocks.
I also enjoy Brita’s RUclips channel. It would be fun to see Brita as a guest in your studio for a MSQC/Brita collaborative project. No doubt you’d come up with something great.
OH MY, Jenny...I MUST move this to the top of my TO DO Quilt List. I have been watching Brita, the Questioning Quilter for a while now. You're right, she IS so delightful and imaginative and just as you do, Jenny, she is always asking "but what if..."!?! Your disappearing pinwheels quilt is absolutely gorgeous❣️
I love that you look to see if someone else in the quilting world is doing the same thing and reach out to them. You model the generosity of spirit and graciousness that I so admire in you and your company and wish for us all in the creative community. Let's keep lifting each other up and encouraging others along the way! BRAVO❤
I saw Jenny's quilt in the thumbnail and came all in with FIRE ready to defend Brita as the one who did it first....but Jenny - class act! Gave Brita credit. Well done to both #artistrespect
Yes. It was nice to see Brita doing a tutorial today since she has been in therapy for her injury. Glad to see her back to work. This is a great block. ❤
Oh yes I'm happy, too, that Brita is now doing much better and I was really surprised to see her new tutorial popping up yesterday. I love all her pattern and already sewed some of them and they all turned out pretty easy to follow and with a beautiful result. Happy New Year to all of you from Germany, love ❤
I love Brita. I knew who you were referring to before you mentioned her name. She has a lot of good videos. Definitely worth watching Brita the questioning quilter.
I LOVE The Questioning Quilter! She does some really wonderful things! I remember you talking about looking at a quilt block and ask, "What if...?" She does that a LOT! Thank you for the tutorial of the disappearing pinwheel. I love how complex it looks at the end, but it's not really hard to make!
This quilt is a beautiful piece of artwork! Thank you for showing us how to do it. Jenny, you and Natalie are just beautiful also! Nat, I love how you looked in your glasses and straight hair, you look like a teenager!❤
This is about the 4th time watching this particular video through the years. It helped clear up a few questions on putting the parts together. I'm so appreciative of your videos. They are a treasure trove of extra information with pictures.
Hi all. Bumped into Natalie and Misty at the Festival of Quilts on Friday. You all were pivotal in me taking up quilting in a big way! Just in process of finishing off my own version of this quilt (it’s only the third quilt I have made) 103” x 103” Thank you so much for your inspirational videos
I made one of Britas disappearing quilts for my sons 21st prezzy. He loves it. In January 2023 I made a decision to make all 5 of my kids the same quilt in different colours. 5 x 3d quilts. All queen size. Winning.
Ooh I have a 10" pack of Bodacious Black that will be lovely in this pattern. I had to stop the tutorial and go pull this layer cake! Yep, it will be beautiful. It has subtle blues greens taupes down to black in it. I considered hexis, but I think this will pop. My son's "colors" and it will be his ginormous lap quilt he asked for so many times. He loves illusion designs. Thank you Jenny Natalie and Brita!
I loved this pattern and I don't have anything on the machined at the moment so ripped right in and made the first few squares. After cutting the first pinwheel I forgot which way the HSTs in the corner went, so I popped into my bedroom to check my sketch.... Some hours later I had moved all the furniture, vacuumed behind everything and dusted. I may have been a bit intimidated by the piecing. Oops. Once I caught my breath I was able to sit down and put the centre block together. Whew! A real challenge. Thanks for scaring me into to doing my spring cleaning 😀
I have been following Brit’s for quite awhile. She has some very interesting creations. I love this pattern, and have one cut out already…. Now to put it together!!!!
Jenny, you are one class act. This quilt pattern has the same cutting except for 1/16 of an inch & sewing technique as your disappearing pin wheel whirlygig quilt that I’ve made two of. I’m going to make this too. Just the piece placements are different thank you so much ❤
love this quilt, sew easy with your guidance, i notice when you square up with the bloc lox that when you turn it, the rough edge is pushing the fabric, which keeps it in place. That is such a great sewing hack. I have 2 quilts I want to make this year, and this is one, besides finishing last years projects. Thanks sew much jenny, I follow you almost daily and look forward to your emails and tutorials.
I've been also following Brita as well. She is a great design teacher. It allows a quilter to make unique quilts. Like, I'm already thinking of making this block to a rectangle.
I watch your tutorials everyday. I love how you and the girls work together, and your joy for sewing is contagious 😊. May you and yours have a Happy New Year.
A really helpful tutorial, I just couldn’t see how you would rearrange the components looking at your first block! A striking quilt in a pretty fabric! I have learnt everything about making quilts from your tutorials, you seem to know how I think! Long may you continue!
That's so wonderful that you picked up one of Brita's disappearing pattern, her tutorials are absolutly great, too. I love to work with Brita's pattern and they always turn out beautiful. Happy New Year to all of you at MSQC, love ❤
Thank you Jenny! I hope your Holiday’s have been wonderful. Looking forward to another year with you and your family, and always learning from you all. ♥️
This is a beautiful quilt and pattern! I am going to put it on my to-do list! I've never watched Brita's videos, but I will certainly be checking them out!
Jenny, would you kindly demonstrate spiraling the seams on pinwheels sometime? I get so much bulk with the pinwheels that it makes the quilting challenging…
I appreciate the times you comment on how squaring the block helps the quilt go easier. I used to think , in the beginning of sewing life, that the fuller Block is bigger and such better. Then nothing matched ....
This quilt is so beautiful. I’m glad to see a challenge for a change. Using a simple block and turning it into something that looks like it takes forever is the way to go. Thanks Jenny, I’ve missed your videos where you show us that we can accomplish something that looks so hard but really isn’t.
This design is so arresting! It really caught my eye. I love the size of the quilt you can get with one layer cake squares plus outer border fabric, with the rest being background. This is definitely going on my “Quilts to Make” list. Thank you Jenny Doan & MSQC family team for making such an easy-to-follow tutorial. ~Diana K
Wow! This might be a real “illusion” if done in black and white with a narrow stripe always pointing to the center! It would probably be a headache to do with stripes, but what an illusion it would make, three dimensional!
Glad Jenny mentioned Brita. Her channel is definitely worth following. She has done an amazing number of disappearing blocks.
Yes, I really like Brita, she’s a good teacher of these disappearing quilts!
I love brita
Brita is excellent and loads of fun. Check out her channel.

Just found Brita today. Ima gonna do the Double Vision.
I love that you dont step on other teacher's toes. Credit where credit is due. You deserve all your blessings! I always look forward to Friday
When I saw Jenny's quilt, I immediately thought of Brita. Yes, I follow her, too. Jenny has a new take on this. I love this one, too.
Oh my gosh, I cant believe Brita went mainstream! Its so great to see small content creators collab with bigger channels, I hope to see more of Brita's idea, id love to see her Moroccan tiles with one of Missouri Star's curated fabric collections!
I agree she's the best 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Brita definitely didn't create this block. It's amusing that people aren't grasping these disappearing blocks have been around for MANY years
Brita does an amazing job with disappearing blocks.
It’s so nice when quilters give each other a shout out. Brita is another great teacher. It’s amazing how her brain works
Brita, The Questioning Quilter creates some amazing quilts. I've been following her RUclips tutorials for awhile. It's amazing what you can create from basic quilt blocks.
I've been following Brita as well. She is a darling!!!
Totally agree, I have Brita's disappearing sampler on my "want to do soon" list
Brita is amazing. So gracious of you to mention her. Put the two of you together - watch out quilt world!
I also enjoy Brita’s RUclips channel. It would be fun to see Brita as a guest in your studio for a MSQC/Brita collaborative project. No doubt you’d come up with something great.
Oh yes please as she is so good
As soon as I saw your quilt I thought of Brita Nelson. I love her videos.

Love Britta's quilts, love your showing how to put it together, and love Natalie's new look. She is so pretty.

This one has been on my to-do list since I watched Brita's tutorial. Thank you for acknowledging her and for providing us with this wonderful version.
I love my Friday mornings, with coffee in hand and watching a new MSQC tutorial.
Jenny, this is a beautiful quilt and pattern! I enjoy Brita, also! I know she was very flattered that JENNY DOAN called her! How nice!
Thank you Jenny and msqc. Nice shout out for Brita, who is back now from wing injury. Great colour/fabric choice. Hugs, Chel 🌸
Yes. It was nice to see Brita doing a tutorial today since she has been in therapy for her injury. Glad to see her back to work. This is a great block. ❤

I love Brita. I knew who you were referring to before you mentioned her name. She has a lot of good videos. Definitely worth watching Brita the questioning quilter.
Love this quilt I’m going to add it to my list 😂 I’ll have to live to be 120 to do all the quilts I love ❤
I just found Britta today. She is great at tutorials! Love you too Jenny!♥️
Beautiful! Brita is one of the great teachers.

Everyone needs a Natalie!!!!
Brita is so much fun! Your quilt is fantastic! Happy New Year to you and your whole family.

Brita is a terrific teacher, as is Jenny. Will there be any garment tutorials in 2024?
I made one of Britas disappearing quilts for my sons 21st prezzy. He loves it. In January 2023 I made a decision to make all 5 of my kids the same quilt in different colours. 5 x 3d quilts. All queen size. Winning.

Another fine quilt!! Thanks so much and have a most happy new year. I'm looking forward to your 2024 selections.
Beautiful quilt. I will add this to the top of my list of quilts to make.
Already making this one just need to join the blocks to finish the quilt top, making it in only 2 colours. Brita explains things well i agree.
Wow love how this is turning out
Really love this one. I have some Victorian prints that will sing in that pattern!
This is sooo much fun! Putting it on my to do list.
