The Brazilian Foreign Policy on Africa: Ideational Fad or National Interest?

Brazil's relationship with Africa is complex and multifaceted, with elements of both predatory and constructive engagement. While there are opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation, there are also risks of neocolonial exploitation and perpetuating existing inequalities. Black consciousness provides a valuable framework for understanding and critically evaluating Brazil's actions, ensuring that its engagement is truly constructive and beneficial for the African continent.
