- Finding something you've never found before is a special feeling! This relic is so fascinating. They don't come up often, so when they do they're extra special. Mark and I return to the area where we located the Civil War Veteran's homestead in episode #299. After striking out the first half of the day in other fields, we headed to the homestead where we knew there was more hidden in the iron patch. It didn't disappoint. Immediately we started popping old coins and relics. Turned out to be a great day saving lost history with a metal detector!

12 flying Eagles......I call that a flock! 🤣🤙🤙🤙🤙
A Flock Of Seagulls?? :P
Congrats to Muck on his cool seal find. Also it was really nice of him to give you the face for your lock. Love watching your videos, so many cool finds.
CONGRATS to both of you on the OLD PADLOCK and the WAX SEAL MATRIX!!
NamVetLesTreasureSeeker.
Absolutely awesome how you and the muck re-united both parts of the old lock. Great team work👏
It would still make a magnificent display piece once cleaned out.
Sweet wax matrix seal mr muck.
Good Luck & Happy Swingin to all you hoover boys
I sure do appreciate what you guys do. Nothing like some Hoover boys to distract you from the 2020 craziness. You do an excellent job filming and editing Mr. Kurt. I know that takes some time and work. You balance a job, being a father and husband, and making all of these videos for us to enjoy. Huge props and respect from a proud Hoover Boys fan.
Thank you Joe! That means a lot
Great job finding both pieces to the lock!!! Great coins too but I love the wax seal matrix!!!
Congrats on finding your first matrix seal Muck! You know it's a slow day when your doing the roadside...lol
I found a 1943 Merc yesterday at the roadside of an old church. Fine condition too!

I literally look forward to this day every week! Thanks for keeping it going!
I’m terrible at seeing the coin until you put the Undug example next to it and then my brain lets me see it. Amazing.
Happy to hear it helps! Thank you for the support
The muck hoover monster strikes again. You guys are rocking it.!!!
Yaaaay! Good luck you guys🍀🍀🍀🍀
Sitting in the deer woods and it's kinda warm not seeing anything today... watching the Hoover boys to pass the time! Wishing I had my metal detector with me now! Need me a gold coin! ✌️
Hi I’m a twelve year old girl and I love your vids, and I just got a at max for my self. Anyways you guys should to come down to Connecticut and try some metal detecting in old weathersfield because that was one of the first towns established in CT!! Just a suggestion 🤗

Thanks again guys, made my Wednesday
12 Flying Eagles for the year? Wow! Love the wax seal. Thanks for sharing the hunt and finds. Good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Old locks and keys are some of my favorite things to find. That wax matrix is awesome.
So awesome can't wait to find oldies as well
Just wanted to say thanks for an amazing channel! Found my first Matron this year. And I could ID it on the spot because of how much I learn from you. Thanks a million for sharing your experiences with Us!!! Digging it all in Western Massachusetts
Great finds. I was looking up the wax seal piece and it seems that some of them actually had extra stones for different seals. That was cool. Love that it took the team effort to find the whole lock too. Happy digging and eat your lunch
That padlock is the same shape as "Sourhern Pacific Lines" over a sunset that are found California side. Went & sifted at the WWII era dump, downtown Honolulu. Sifted out two unknown wheatbacks and a 1925 Buffalo. Found a hardball sized fishing float and a quart Primo shoulder script amber beer. A Dog tag from an Army guy from Mt. Gilead N.C. The American Legion post was vague about what to do with these. I had a bunch I found before 2015, but have moved & mislaid them. They were specific that contacting the family was not advisable. The Army ones are different than Marines, Navy & Merchant Marine ones.
Nice videos you boys put out. I really enjoy them.
Awesome episode KK and Muck :)
Nice finds brother! Great video!
Brilliant episode, love that lock 🔐, great job, good luck over there with all the madness 👍
Nice finds Congrats Muck.
Nice little episode.
Kurt...LMAO... I got a 1963 Rosie in the coin star on Monday 11/2, my 2nd silver coin of the year, my first was a 64 Rosie in the ground.
Great finds! Pretty nice getting all the permissions. To bad they didn't pan out to well.
awesome finds Kurt!!! Love the "Mucket lister"
Good job boys!
Love my coinstar at my work
14 silver Roosevelt's last year..
9 so far this year and 3 steel cents.
Keep up the great content!
Cool Lock and Wax Seal.
I'll bet your minds were still thinking about episode 300 and wondering if you'll find gold again.
Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Keep up the good work.
Stoked you found the other side of that lock.
Flipping awesome vid!!
Sweet finds!!
I wanna go sooooo bad!!
I need itttttt!!!
That Wax stamp is one cool relic!
Love me a good civil war episode
Amazing save
Nice finds, awesome wax seal
Cool!! The Matrix does exist. Nice finds guys
Great hunt guys, started off slow but picked up
Nice hunt. Unbelievable!!!
Took 300 episodes for you to hit a gold US coin. Damn that's a lot of foil to wade thru. Thanks again guys for the great entertainment every week. Always look forward to Wed.
nice finds
If I dug that wax seal stamp I'd have stayed in that area hand sifting dirt to find the stone, I love those things more than my skeleton keys.
Sitting on the Gator watching!
how aswesome to find both parts of the lock love it...all holes matter...
You and the muck are crazy awsome would love to dig with you guys some time tell muck congrats on his matrix cool find good luck guys
3:15. That’s fantastic.
Those wax sealers are awesome! My bf found one with 2 Brothers faces on it. So kool!
Love your vids boys top banana from Lincoln England ps love the gold dollar last week.
Wild to see bot comments on a Hoover Boys video... I hit report on all of the 6 or so bad ones so hopefully they'll be taken care of. Anyway, great going Kurt and Mark. It was really neat that you guys managed to find both halves of that lock... if only both parts of the wax matrix were metallic you might have found both pieces of that too.
Thanks AJ! Good looking out
Like the 1963 Rosie the best. That's the year I was born.
I believe your Indian is an "L on Ribbon" variety. The bust above the 1 comes to a sharper point then the common variety, but what do I know I'm drinking.
Oh, Sweet Cinnamon Rolls! Matron, I.H.P., AND a Flying Eagle? You guys live right! Until I found you guys, I had never seen a Matron, 2 cent, half dime, Nickel 3 cent, Flying Eagle, and a couple others outside of a coin book! Thanks for showing your finds. I now live 40 miles South of San Antonio, Texas, and now, I'm wondering about the route-of-march Santa Anna's troops took, to get to the Alamo. I live near the Atascosa River, so,...maybe. Just wondering if Mexican troops crossed my land. Makes a body think.
just what i needed to get away from the craziness
I hear that! Thanks
Me too man. Been watching nothing but detecting videos.
What a headache mess yesterday.
Nice hunt for sure the wax seal is legit well done
Great day guys! I'm guessing, since all the video finds were on the wrap-up, the land owner didn't tax y'all this time? Congrats and good luck on the next one!!
i have a padlock almost exactly like that, the date is usually on the latch part on the top
That looked like a chain to me also at first glance , shucks !
Really hanging for the next episode, nothing decent on anywhere, darn, two more days, lol.
Ok day for.. Bucket lister for us to the west..lol
hope to see you fellers at detectifest in april nice hunt
Looks like a Railroad switch lock
I forgot it was Wednesday I’m so excited to watch the video! Are you still finding relics at Indian head burial ground? Keep up the work!
Thanks! Brad and I tried a few weeks ago when I hand dropped the gold coin. We found nothing of interest unfortunately
@@thehooverboys at least you guys found cool relics over the years there and that gold coin was crazy
Is this actually number 301? Anyways you guys made a day of it! You both found some good stuff! LFOD!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Had to send my nox off for a new battery replacement only 2 weeks into ownership. Took about a week to get it back. :)
Still waiting for kurt to get that $20 gold piece. Have fun good luck
Lol, I dug two 1858 Flying Eagles last month.
Well, sometimes you just get those sites that look great but give nothing. Great seal, though. Maybe next week. It's a big site, so maybe something crazy will turn up. Thanks!
My brother had that toy car, but in much better condition. He gave all of them to our nephew, who will pass them on to his son.
Work it.... work it.... copper.
Work it.... work it.... copper.
Work it.... COINSTAR !! Look at da shine !
You must be training under that Urban Pilferer guy who comments and knows hand drops.
Were these fields you gentlemen are detecting once covered with trees? Just curious because as a viewer you try to paint a picture of the items you are finding. Keep up the great work 👍
Have always wanted to ask. Are you guys too far away to try detecting in Bucks County PA ? Lots of history.
I wish your friend wasn`t so shy
I live in the NE area of Arizona in kingman can you give any tips of areas I can detect for a good score also I live near fort beal but I think its dry/picked
I'm in Show Low. I'm looking to do some research and hit the warmer desert areas this winter. Kingman is one really old mining town.
@@livefreehobbies4326 i agree there has to be good stuff here ya know but idk where to look
Looks like a pointed bust on that Indian head cent. Pointed bust= L
Rounded bust= no L
