I’m really struggling with this, I’ve had GAD and health anxiety for a few years now, I’m only 35 but this year is been every day and it’s exhausting I just have pains in my body all the time that makes me expert the worse, usually heart related. I’ve watched so many videos and I’m in Reddit trying to find something that will help the pains go away , because if they did I wouldn’t think about them. But my ocd thoughts pop into my head all day every day and they’re always negative things about my health. It doesn’t stop.

Yes, rigid personalities are boring, controlling and unable to grow - and I think that is not how to live a fun life!

Would you say the best way to recover from ocd is to accept everything, not judge, not avoid, not hate the thoughts, themes or feeling and put your attention on the present moment and although that will be hard at first it will eventually ware off and you’ll be free from ocd?

Yes, ERP is the only way, but to not see it as a bad thing - make it a good thing, like Olympic champions using the fear of losing as motivation. Plus, whether you accept it or not, what ever happens, is what happens! So focussing on your intentions rather than your outcomes, seems sensible.
