    Ms Kwa..Tks u for sharing your recipes.. I made the Nonya chang with your recipe this morning and it tasted good! My very first attempt to make rice dumpling in my life and it turned up so successful! The texture of the rice and the taste were good! I followed closely the way u wrapped and tied the rice dumplings.. and none of my dumpling burst opened during boiling process.

    Ms Kua, my pulut rice stick to the leaves even though I use the leaves face up side. Leaves boil and wash. Can u let me know what's went wrong.

      For vegetarian, I would replace meat with mock meat, monkey head mushrooms or oyster mushrooms.....

      About 2-3 hours, you need to adjust the dumplings up and down during cooking

    老师,今天尝试做,味道很好,只是发不起来,蛋糕是扎实的,就像糕点的texture. 上面一层cheese 碎我扑蛮厚一下,是这个原因蛋糕发不起来吗?

      您好,蓝色液体可以不加,至于芫荽粉是娘惹粽子的主要调味料。其实内馅你是可以跟随自己喜欢的味道添加或减少

    Dear Kathrine, can we use ready made coriander powder instead of using coriander seeds and going thru frying & grinding process ourselves.

      Don't forget to dry fry the powder first as it will enhance the aroma of the coriander powder.

    老师,可不可以教我们不用糯米做的粽子?老人家消化不好,不能吃糯米。

      可以加一些大米中和糯米的黏性。也可以試用有少許黏性的大米。也有人用五穀米,糙米,燕麦,黑米,西米代替糯米。网上都可以找到食谱。

      用25-30朵蓝花冲入200毫升沸水浸泡
