I'm totally house bound with arthritis in my shoulder hips knees and ankles, I suffer from ulcerative colitis, makes my life a total mess, im 65 and I hobble on two crutches around the house. I cannot leave my home as I cannot get down the steps. I had a home pip assessment last month been on full care and motorbility since 1995 and I just lost care by 1 point they awarded me full motorbility 12 points and the standard rate care 11 points I am of course fighting this total piss take by the DEPT OF WILLY PULLERS. (Do not let them win fight all the way) this DLA to PIP is a cost cutting exercise by the gov and dwp to steal necessary help off the sick and disabled. ✌peace
I can understand that they have to weed out the people that are trying to fraud the system, so they are going to ask all sorts of questions and can be quite humiliating. The thing to bare in mind is that it's only for 45 minutes to an hour and a half and after it, you'll probably never see them again.
I've got neurofibromatosis & spina bifida, I was on DLA from age 5 now 32, I can't walk for long nor bend over I struggle everyday. I got a litter from pip saying the usual. Went to the assessment a few weeks later Failed me by one point. The assessment lady said that I could bend over and touch my toes she never asked me to do that I sat in the chair the whole time failed by second mandatory Pip never offered me a tribunal case I asked but they never sent anything out back In mid 2018. The system is a Joke.
@@whiteeaglewarrior it is. I asked for mandatory reconsideration, pip didn't even send a litter back out, I had to phone up 3 weeks later and ask they said you didn't pass what a surprise. I asked for a tribunal the guy hung up on me. Like what the hell.
Hi Andy. I'm also Aspie :) I have been waiting for two years from my pip rejection to tribunal and that is if they don't postpone it again. My Atos assessor was struck off for 38 counts of fraud and lied throughout the assessment. Thankfully I secretly videod the entire process and the court have allowed it. The system is broken and corrupt but you have to keep fighting. There does seem to be a high percentage of people on the Autistic spectrum getting rejected. Discrimination is alive and well.

I'm 16 went for my pip assesment and it literally felt as if I was being interrogated

Its pure evil. As Im finding out after major spinal surgery (that doesnt look like its been successful)

It's frustrating because when you go to your assessment it might be on a good day, that usually counts against you.
