I'm totally house bound with arthritis in my shoulder hips knees and ankles, I suffer from ulcerative colitis, makes my life a total mess, im 65 and I hobble on two crutches around the house. I cannot leave my home as I cannot get down the steps. I had a home pip assessment last month been on full care and motorbility since 1995 and I just lost care by 1 point they awarded me full motorbility 12 points and the standard rate care 11 points I am of course fighting this total piss take by the DEPT OF WILLY PULLERS. (Do not let them win fight all the way) this DLA to PIP is a cost cutting exercise by the gov and dwp to steal necessary help off the sick and disabled. ✌peace

Regarding your current problems. If your finding it to much try fightback 4 justice ,for just 4;99 a month you will have access to many factual and actual documents that you can download if you want to fight the DWP yourself. you do not need to pay for the whole year. They have 4 fully qualified advocates plus highly trained form fillers along with voluntary staff.they for a small fee also help people fill in the forms. They have a 97 % winning success rate. At the tribunal stage they do a Pro Bono. That's if the form process is unsuccessful I know people are struggling financially, but for example i can vouch for them they helped a lady i know with epilepsy. Who was scored 0 points, and was about to give up, but with fightback4 justice fighting her corner at the tribunal she was awarded both enhanced rates with back pay. Never give up that's what they want the DWP can be beaten. fightback4 justice also have a face book account, have a browse to see what they can and will do . never give up

Hi Andy. I'm also Aspie :) I have been waiting for two years from my pip rejection to tribunal and that is if they don't postpone it again. My Atos assessor was struck off for 38 counts of fraud and lied throughout the assessment. Thankfully I secretly videod the entire process and the court have allowed it. The system is broken and corrupt but you have to keep fighting. There does seem to be a high percentage of people on the Autistic spectrum getting rejected. Discrimination is alive and well.

I've got neurofibromatosis & spina bifida, I was on DLA from age 5 now 32, I can't walk for long nor bend over I struggle everyday. I got a litter from pip saying the usual. Went to the assessment a few weeks later Failed me by one point. The assessment lady said that I could bend over and touch my toes she never asked me to do that I sat in the chair the whole time failed by second mandatory Pip never offered me a tribunal case I asked but they never sent anything out back In mid 2018. The system is a Joke.

I’m dreading 😟 my reply back I’ve sent off my forms with hospital medical evidence waiting a medical assessment appointment I’ve been out of work for over a year now with a back injury plus severe depression. Wonder if I’ll be classed as fit for work Atos Need To Go No more Medical Assessments are these ppl even qualified to say your not fit for work are they GPS medical professions etc why isn’t Hospital/GP evidence enough for them

feel your pain ,brother ive had exactly the same from capita, my e.s.a assessor told me too re-apply for p.i.p so i took a deep breath and re-applied.Had my assement which sends you backwards mentally,drained two get zero points again the letter came 14 days after my interogation by the SS. rang for a mandatory re-consideration was informed i have too send more medical evidence before they will re-consider .you have one month to do this,if you miss that deadline you cannot go any further.i will send my records in but im giving up hope.....ho hum

I feel for you mate but do not be fooled by Anna Soubry, she was one of the MPs who voted for the pip assesments.

I was recently diagnosed and have struggled with my condition for years when people just thought I was a maladjusted loner with depressive tendencies. I got 0 points on my assessment, and in the assessment notes there was much that made no sense; a justification on the grounds of physical reasons not to give me PIP when my condition is almost entirely cognitive. I even had a social worker with me during the assesment. Makes no sense this.

It's a dirty right wing ploy by this atrocious government blatantly designed to take as much money off people as possible!

Never ever fall into the trap of thinking they are "really realy nice people", yes be civil with them but never trust them an inch,, being nice lures you into a false sense of security and you become complacent.

You haven't a clue, they were nice to you, to get as much information out of you as possible, twist it and use it against you, negating any of your illness, condition,and you have to look for work and prove it, for 35 hrs per week, you can send off for hundreds of jobs and be lucky to get one phone call,anyway you might be lucky and be one of the 5% that gets a job through looking through a computer, thats their own statistics,hope you are lucky, and don't end up sanctioned! Remember, they are legally allowed to lie to you, so don't be disarmed by a smiling face, and learn more about UC,and not from the government's own site. Good luck, looks like your gonna need it.

I have a minor dyspraxia because of what my biological dad did to me but I’m thankfully I don’t see him. With the dyspraxia I have its balance it had upset me cause I’ve got it and annoyed with my dad but now I’m getting stronger.

Don't be naive, the sole purpose of UC and you is to get you sanctioned as soon as possible, hence the security guards.

You're always entitled to that money if you are unemployed, or struggling. If you have Asperger's syndrome you might be able to get other benefits, and why not? The world has too many people like those security guards, who aren't helpful, even when they can see someone has 'issues'. Take the help - the trouble is then there are lots of annoying job searches and appointments.

Normal is a concept created by society but does not really exist as it relies on comparing one persons behaviour with others. Do we know if they are normal? I believe we should all behave in our own way as long as it does not adversely affect others. Continue to be who you are and strive to do the best you can in all you do. That is all you can ask of yourself and what others think really doesn't matter. x

Omg thanks for this video! I NEEDED a positive vid on Universal Credit!! I'm 19 years old left sixht form and chose not to go uni. Wanna apply to an Apprenticeship instead. I havent applied to UC for this long purely because of everyones bad reviews, on how it ruins your life, they make you feel depressed etc. But you've just given me that push to go and sign on and get what the country owes me while I look for a job lol

Totally agree with the annoying people in the cinema. Mostly the reason I don't go to the cinema is because people talk or are on phones.
