Lol your poor wife.... Well. Nice .. congrats... Well done Will... Don't let your wife hear you 😂.. Nice job Tony on the unboxing.. nice canister filter
hi i would guess you would be using the HW 5000 in an out door fish house setting , as for noise level ,would you say it would be quite enough for an in door aquarium , i have noticed you use a number of external filters , how would you rate it ,say ,to the AQUAMANTA 600 etc .also could you say what company you bought it from ,as I noticed English writing on the control panel .Any feed back be great. Great channel ,all the best.
I have them in a green house, I do not seem to have any noise from them as long as you have no air in the system, quieter than Aquamanta and the Eheims, I bought them from Amazon, hope this helps
It did not prime well like that, so better to fill it before putting top on, seems to trap air otherwise, but you could fill it by opening valve on intake before putting out take valve on I guess😀
Hi Peter, I have not had them, I have two, very long as yet, but the drain valves are not leaking to date, and the clamps are ok, but I did state in the vid that it would be easy to break them, they would be better made in metal, but I think it is a great filter, easy to clean, and a choice of good strong flow rates, even when loaded with media, hope this helps😀
I have on a couple occasions, but that was my own fault for not getting them adequately filled up before putting the lids back on, not had a problem since😀@@PeterKnopp-ih8ie
Hi, I have not had any real issues, they can be prone to a little leakage, mine only leak a little while turning them, otherwise all ok, I have seen someone take them apart and re-grease with vasaline to solve problem, but for me not a problem, best wishes😀

Hi why take the top of again couldn’t you just open the valve in place
