Fake Guru Friday comes a day early! Uploading a video on the main channel tomorrow, so I wanted to get this done today. This story is still developing, so I will post updates here in the pinned comment. For the record, this is exactly why I do the fake guru series, exposing the dream salesmen who are taking money from the most vulnerable by making wild promises of wealth to desperate people. As funny as this show can be sometimes, this is the dark side. The victims these schemes leave behind are left, often helpless and without recourse, scammed out of their money. Fake Gurus is here to help people get informed about the people too-good-to-be-true schemes and scams to help people avoid them in the future.
Yup I got ghosted by a “Shopify guru” named Brendan Verhoff. Payed 1k, he was supposed to teach me Facebook ads. Our schedule didn’t meet one day and after that all messages were left on seen. Not stressing too much though only 1k. I learned my lesson though

I’ve had bosses like this, it’s like a psychological game for them. They keep you far enough and close enough to keep you roped in where you’re almost seeking their approval by being a good boy and ‘having the right mind set’ and whenever you speak up or express your concerns, you get told your being negative, it’s another level of gaslighting!
It's better for them to be shown to us, the people who definitely won't fall for it, rather than people who will, for the same money they spent on the ad. Though they are still very infuriating.

Saw a picture of the guy talking and that was the first red flag he's a scammer. He doesn't even try to show the millionaire lifestyle, fancy education or professionalism. 2nd red flag is the name, "E90X" which is a direct rip-off of "P90X" exercise program. The third plus red flags are the payment methods, the lies of limited spots but taking it all, etc., etc.

This happened with me with hayden Bowles, I honestly don’t want to take the time to write this out but essentially he said he would run ads for me for $5k/m and even with a brand new store without a winning product he would be able to “blow up” my store in one month with about $2k in adspend. So I believed him :( and basically it turns out it’s his team who runs the ads and after doing everything they suggested and a total of 7k spent and about 2.5 months- I had no money left and nothing to show for it. And funny enough, about a month into it they go- you really need a social media presence and they’ve seen people put “$10k into only social media growth”. Whatever- I was mainly stupid for thinking my shit product would “blow up” with him running ads for me but I still feel pretty gipped as far as empty promises and being unaware of how unprepared I was for his expensive service. I should have bought a freakin rental property lol.

Bogdon you are doing a great thing by exposing these fake gurus. 2021 is going to be a great year because more and more people are seeing the corruption and the lies whether it's in politics or stocks or gurus on RUclips or fake celebrities or whatever it may be. It seems more and more people are waking up and learning the truth about how the real world works and it's wonderful. Admitting the reality around you is the first step in doing something about it.

Dam, I always wondered if those guru guys were really legit. Deep inside I felt they were probably a scam, but the way they portray themselves makes it seem like you are missing out. Saw a picture of the guy talking and that was the first red flag he's a scammer. He doesn't even try to show the millionaire lifestyle, fancy education or professionalism. 2nd red flag is the name, "E90X" which is a direct rip-off of "P90X" exercise program. The third plus red flags are the payment methods, the lies of limited spots but taking it all, etc., etc.
I like this guy. Dude got scammed and is all smiles. I guess he realizes that this is the price you pay to be in business. He definitely learned a lot of lessons that every business person has to learn.

This happened with me with hayden Bowles, I honestly don’t want to take the time to write this out but essentially he said he would run ads for me for $5k/m and even with a brand new store without a winning product he would be able to “blow up” my store in one month with about $2k in adspend. So I believed him :( and basically it turns out it’s his team who runs the ads and after doing everything they suggested and a total of 7k spent and about 2.5 months- I had no money left and nothing to show for it. And funny enough, about a month into it they go- you really need a social media presence and they’ve seen people put “$10k into only social media growth”. Whatever- I was mainly stupid for thinking my shit product would “blow up” with him running ads for me but I still feel pretty gipped as far as empty promises and being unaware of how unprepared I was for his expensive service. I should have bought a freakin rental property lol.
